I Found My Answer

She received a notification -- It was an email. She opens it and it read like:

Alfred Brown

Hi there, You remember me ? We met at award function. Sorry , I forgot to introduce myself to you. So, I am writing this.

[ So, his name is Alfred Brown! I see, ] she thinks and gives a smile.

What's going on inside her mind?

She stands up and leaves the restaurant and types her reply as she walks out.

Alfred sits on the sofa and leans backward. Beside him sat his one and only best friend "Mr. Nam" he was good looking guy but not better than Alfred.

He loosens his tie and grabs a drink that his friend prepared, He was lost in his thoughts

"Hey, Alfo" said his friend " I have been noticing that, you are lost in thoughts since yesterday. what's going on? It all started after that Award function , right? "

" Hmm" he replies and leans forward as he speaks

"You have been married twice, so, you seem to have better experience in this than me " he said

[ What this guy is trying to say?] his friend thinks [ Is he complimenting me or criticizing me ?]

" Ahh, just tell me what you want to know?" his friend said " what's going on? "

" Yesterday in award function, I met most amazing woman, she was so elegant." Alfred says finally , meanwhile his friend gave a smile " she won the honor, and I also heard that she always wins this award. Ah...I can tell from this , She is very ambitious and I like her. "

His friend nods ,giving quirky smile. "Ohh...so finally you found your type. Now, I can see why you are lost in thoughts, Since yesterday. Ahh..Its the lady"

" I want to have family with her. I just cannot sleep at night. Her face always appears in front of me, Whether it's a dream or waking life, I see her everywhere. If this is what people call 'LOVE'...then I love her" Alfred says and grins.

" What about her ? Does she love you ? " Mr. Nam asked

" I wanted to ask you something. " Alfred stated

" What is it?"

" Hmm" he leans back and his eyebrows narrowed "I am not able to understand her . I asked her contact no. instead she gave me her email . What does it mean? She didn't even smile back. "

" Ah...it means that she is hesitant" his friend said "My first wife was very introvert. As far as my experience is concerned, All I can predict is -- She may be skeptical about giving her information to you."

" Do I look so bad? I mean-- Do I look so unreliable? " Alfred asked.

" Man, you look great,okay ! There can be either of the reason why she did so -- First, she has trust issues and Second -- she is not interested in you" said his friend

" Or it can that be the both" His friend added

Alfred stands up as he hears the second reason

"What are you saying? She is not interested in me? ...huh... I have got everything from looks to money. Ain't I perfect husband material? Do I lack anything?" Alfred asked restlessly.

His friend sighs " Aye, Just sit down okay! I just stated a probability --"

" Okay, Tell me" Alfred cut him short and said " Why your first wife divorced you? "

" Why are you bringing my first wife into this topic? " he said

Alfred gives him a grave look " .... "

" Okay" he gets emotional " I still care for my first wife, she was so sweet. But, after a year everything changed---"

" Come to the point " Alfred says keeping his empty glass on table.

"We argued daily on small things. On one morning, I found a paper in which she had written -- I am leaving you and this home forever. I am sick of you and our arguments. " he said.

" Why you both argued ?" he asked

" She got angry on every small things , And it was quite disturbing " he gets more emotional

" You are at fault " Alfred said "communication is the key to the perfect relationship"

" Oh..you are right!" he said ; then something strikes his mind and he says "wait, what --"

" Thanks " Alfred says " I found my answer"

" What ..what" he asked

" I need to know her first and gain her trust. I can do that "

His friend was just staring at him "...."

[ I will make sure, that you never get angry. I will never let you down. I don't want any arguments in our relationship.I cannot lose you. ] Alfred thinks and smiles.

" I will leave now, thanks" Alfred said to his friend.

" Aye, wait..." his friend says raising his voice. However, Alfred had already left by then.
