Chapter 11: Ellipse club.

Ritah and scarlet decided to rest early as tomorrow was gonna be a tough battle a head of them. Retiring to their bedrooms, Ritah applied some cream on her skin before getting under the covers. Inside scarlet's bedroom,she sprawled on the bed in her green pajamas looking at the ceiling Wondering how the next day would be . Her eyelids finally couldn't hold up anymore and slept unknowingly.

Party paupers had already booked luxurious clubs and bars to spend their money. They wanted to get high and forget all their problems for a while. What mattered to them at that moment was to enjoy life with everything they had while it lasts.

Since Dave had notified Kevin where to meet them, he and Max had already made their way to Ellipse club. It's located amidst the commercial buildings making it easy to find your way. It's one of the most luxurious clubs in the city with the best customer service as they consider their customers as king. Only those with gold and bronze cards were given entry.

Several cars parked in the underground parking lot of the ellipse club at that moment Dave and Max arrived in their Maybach, parked it in the left corner and made their way to the club after showing their cards to the bodyguards at the entrance. Making their way to the private room upstairs Dave had booked a day before,those downstairs were dancing to the rythm of the music played by the DJ yet others sat in their booths with several glasses of wine. Some were already stumbling and stuttering with incoherent words due to being drunk .

Upon entering the room,it was well decorated with everything as ordered by Dave. Taking their seats,beauties entered with their curvey bodies in skimpy dresses and sat besides Dave who started flirting with them.

The manager brought a cart containing several wines, whisks and vodka. Placing them at the glass table in the middle. Max waved to the manager and he existed the room with a sigh he didn't know he was holding. Earlier on he had thought he would find Mr Kevin inside the room but it seemed he hadn't arrived. One of the beauties on the left side of Dave was wearing a see through brouse molding around her breasts with a tight skirt leaving her goodies for others to ogle for free.

In mean time, Kevin arrived with his bodyguards in tow. The body guards at the entrance made way for him without bothering to ask for a card because he's face and name held significant importance in the whole city so no one dared to mess with him unless you're tired of living. He was wearing ripped jeans with a vest underneath the black leather jacket pairing it with timberland boots.

Entering the room, it was dimly lit and at first glance it was a bit difficult to make out the faces in the room unless you have sharp eyes. Max stood up and bumped shoulders with Kevin.

" oh! , man welcome back home. It has been ages ever since I last talked to you." Kevin said with a smirk on his face.

" As if I didn't have a phone,for God's sake atleast you would have used Skype." Max replied complaining. Both taking their seats, Kevin poured himself white wine in his glass and sipped on it slowly but the beauties had already escaped the moment Kevin stepped in the room. Max became nervous and worried about how they would return home since Dave who was supposed to drive was drinking like a fish .

" What's with the frown on your face Max?" Kevin asked gulping his vodka.

" Isn't it obvious that Dave is the root cause of my stress right now." Max replied rubbing his temples.

" I can lend you one of my body guards to drive you guys back home so just relax and enjoy before your dad comes knocking to take control of his company." Kevin said grinning.

" By the way! ,the moment I landed,I got news of legacy holdings going viral after declaring the acquisition of RK enterprises." Max said breaking the silence in the room.

" You nolonger yes social media,so how did you get to know the news?" Kevin asked with a raised brow holding his glass.

" Oh, a little bird told me." Max replied with a shrug. He further said, " I didn't believe in this day and age someone would still mess with you of all people unless they want to kiss goodbye to their precious life."

They exited the club as it clocked the second cock as everyone was gonna return to their busy life the next day. The assigned body guard lifted Dave who was sleeping like a log. The supposed celebratory party turned upside down when Dave drunk so much dozing off in the process. They ignited their cars and zoomed off.

The alarm clock Scarlet set started ringing with it's noisy sound. Scarlet clutched her chest tighly where her heart was located because it was beating loudly like a drum. The damn alarm clock had scared her. Stretching her hands ,she switched off the clock getting out of the covers to take a warm bath. " The awaited day is finally here, though am not used to waking up by the alarm with time I will get used to it ." Scarlet whispered to herself as warm water slid down her slender body. Turning off the faucet,she wrapped a towel around her body and exited the bathroom. Applying cream on her body, she wore the black jean,a loose brouse with a pair of sneakers. She applied lip balm on her pink lips before closing the door of her bedroom. She found Ritah seated at the dining table with her laptop busy viewing the files of patients her secretary had sent yesterday.

" Good morning sweetie." Scarlet greeted Ritah with a warm smile on her face.

" Morning too dia how was your night?" Ritah asked shifting her gaze from the laptop.

" It was good but just got scared by the alarm clock." Scarlet replied eating an apple.

" ohh sorry about that,so what would you have for breakfast?" Ritah asked with her mesmerizing smile. " I will have hamburger and soy milk." Scarlet replied.

Closing her laptop, Ritah went upstairs to change from her pajamas. Suddenly turning around she reminded scarlet not to forget the phone she got for her.

Seated at the dinning table, they had breakfast peacefully and the driver parked the car at the entrance to take them to the city. Scarlet was dropped off at the city center where a number of restaurants were located.

Ritah reminded her to be careful because it was disheartening to know that her friend was going to start working in a dog eat dog city where people did anything to get what they wanted. Nodding her head, Scarlet embarked on her journey to hunt a Job.

At legacy holdings.

The CEO arrived a bit late than usual but he found the supposed employees gossiping in small gangs instead of working yet it was still morning. His cold emerald green eyes sent shivers down their spines and knew they had messed up.

Arie one of the department heads said ,"Mr Kevin had a cow the moment he entered his office when he found the employees gossiping in the lobby instead of working." The other department heads almost had a heart attack when they heard what Arie said . But before warming their seats,the secretary conveyed the CEO's order which read " I want all the reports of the departments done in two shakes of a lamb's tail or else to cut them loose from their jobs." After conveying the message the secretary went back to his work station. " It's all the fault of the useless workers, now we're in trouble because of them." Moreen said blaming the employees.

" Instead of playing the blaming game I think it would be better if you work on those reports before you're fired." Arie adviced before returning back to her office to make the necessary reports.

Scarlet went to different restaurants but things were not easy. The high end restaurants wanted to hire someone with qualifications. But she didn't want to give up and decided to try another restaurant where a banner was hung in need of a waitress. Entering the restaurant,she was directed to an office where she was supposed to wait for the boss. A bald man wearing a green suit entered the office with uncomfortable gaze.

" Hey beauty! , how can I be of help?" The bald man asked scarlet who shuddered in her seat. " Am scarlet sir and am looking for a job.". Scarlet said with nervousness in her voice.

" Actually there's something I want you to do and the job will be yours." He said coming close to scarlet who tried to escape but the bald man was more powerful than her. In panic she caught glimpse of a vase at the table and smashed it to his head . He collapsed with blood flowing and scarlet exited the office in hurried steps.
