The Second Wife of Adam: “Kori, The Maiden.”

"Last we left off, Yahweh had just banished Lilith from the Garden, due to her indiscretions with the Dragon…"

Ezrae's voice echoed eerily, as the cinematic danced on the surface of the water.

Adam stood there, with a blank look on his face, as he struggled to remember what was going on. It was just him and Yahweh, but wasn't there… someone else?

No… no, it's always just been him and Yahweh. Him and his Father. He shook his head, clearing away the fogginess.

He smiled, taking in the world around him, the Garden was so very beautiful. And yet… something was missing. Adam was… lonely.

"Father? I'm sorry. I am feeling a strange feeling, one that I've never felt before. I don't know how to describe it, Father… but there's this ache in my chest that just won't go away. Like a piece of me is gone…"

Yahweh placed a warm, comforting hand on Adam's shoulder, realizing his mistake. When he made Genesis, they were whole, they were perfect.

When he split them apart, he fractured them, and this fracture deeply affected them. Now that "other half" of Adam was gone, he felt empty. God forgot his number one rule: Humans need Love, above all else.

"You're lonely, my son... And that is My fault, for creating a creature who isn't quite whole... Say, would you like to see how you were made, Adam?" Yahweh smiled at Adam, His radiance shining, and Adam already began to feel uplifted, happier, and excited; nodding like a child who was promised a present.

"Come along then, Child. Let's fix that fracture in your heart." And Yahweh brought Adam to the shore of one of the 4 rivers of the Garden; The Euphrates.

Here, he instructed Adam to sit by a tree in the grass, above the shore, and to watch. Adam did as he was told, and the Lord God began to work.

Pulling some dust from the shore, and clay from the river, He spoke to the elements; bringing them to life. Before Adam's very eyes, a human was formed, particle by particle, bit by bit…

While he was intrigued and excited to see this process, watching the nearly gruesome scene unfold before him left a slightly bad taste in Adam's mouth, and started off the relationship between him and Kori in a rocky way.

You see, the body was formed from the feet up, and Adam could see the development of everything that makes a human…

From the gentle construction of her muscles, to the delicate precision needed to create her blood vessels, and inner organs… all the way up to her eyeballs.

Adam had a bit of trouble stomaching it, it made him feel a bit squeamish, and seeing the inner workings of a human body made him nauseous, and dizzy.

In addition, when God created her soul and personality, he made her agreeable, submissive, and slightly plain. She was pretty, but not stunningly beautiful, in Adam's opinion; and overall he wasn't that impressed. However, having a companion, and someone to talk to on a different level than what he had with his father Yahweh, DID help Adam start to feel better.

In addition, God sparked the memory of the rules that He had given to Adam, though slightly altered, and Adam was reminded that he was supposed to honor and thank his Father for His work.

In turn, he shyly introduced himself to his new wife, feeling compelled to teach to her, the rules that God had set upon humanity.

The First Rule that Yahweh taught Adam was, that the female must be the perfect helpmate for the male; supporting him, loving him, and submitting to him.

In return, it was Adam's job to lead humanity on a good and righteous paths it was his responsibility to properly lead his wife, and their children; and pass on the ideals and teachings of Yahweh, The Father, The One and Only God.

The Second Rule was that He taught Adam that his job was to be the progenitor for the human race; and Kori, was to be the one to give birth to them.

The Third Rule that Yahweh taught to Adam, was that He, Yahweh, was their One and only God, and He was the Ultimate Authority. There was none above him.

The Fourth Rule set forth by the Father, said they were to worship and revere Him, and only Him.

He also taught them that they needed to keep these commandments; for the laws and influences of all others are those of false prophets, and idols; and should be cast out, as they have no place in the Kingdom of Eden.

And, The Fifth and Final Rule He gave to them, was a set of 2 Non-Negotiable Prohibitions:

To never eat from the Tree of Life. For when they do, they will surely die.

Years And to never eat from the Tree of Knowledge. For on the day that they do, they will meet a fate even worse than death.

5 simple rules to follow, with an overall theme; To keep your eyes on God.

Yahweh had granted her the name "Kori," which meant "Maiden," and Adam & Kori came to know each other intimately; making her his Second Wife; but to HIS knowledge… his first.

Yahweh was happy, because Adam was happy, and Kori seemed to be a much better fit for him, when compared to the difficulties brought about by Lilith, and her headstrong attitude.

Though he was none the wiser, his memories having been wiped out, Adam held a bit of unease in his heart… Something inside of him said this wasn't quite right, something was still missing, something was very wrong here…

It had been 15 Years since the day of her creation, and STILL, Adam didn't quite understand Kori. She was quiet, agreeable, submissive, and curious; but… she seemed naive, and simple… even slightly boring.

Adam carried most of their conversation, and he found Kori to be boring, more often than not; all the while, finding himself needing more stimulation and intelligent conversation.

In addition, it had been 15 years… and Kori hadn't been able to bear any children with Adam. He saw her as flawed, and decided to go to Yahweh, with his concerns and complaints… something HAD to be wrong. He could feel it.
