Moon Buddies

Chapter 07- Moon Buddies

Krsna walked up to the door and pulled, it opened this time without any resistance, probably because the monster who targeted him left once he confirmed that Krsna died.

krsna kept his head low and walked out of the house, his target destination was the temple of Trinity built on the hillock at the side of the Mantur village.

His emotions were a mess that needed a very quiet place to settle them down and think about what truly happened to him these past days.

As he approached the hillock, he couldn't help but notice the tranquil aura that enveloped the area. The temple dedicated to the Trinity was built at the top of the small hillock, embraced by the lush greenery of the surrounding forest.

Before he even entered the temple, he was greeted by the playful chatter of monkeys swinging through the trees and the melodious songs of the birds perched on the temple.

Squirrels scampered about, seemingly engaged in their own rituals of gathering food and leaping from tree to tree.

It was as if the temple had become a sanctuary not only for spirituality but also for harmonious cohabitants of the natural world.

The temple's architecture, adorned with Exquisite carvings of celestial beings and divine stories, stood as a testament to human craftsmanship and devotion.

Inside the sanctum, the three stone carvings of the three gods of trinity stood side by side.

The creator, the preserver, and the destroyer, these three deities formed the Trinity That is worshipped as one in the entire world.

Its quiet presence was now accompanied by a gentle breeze that wafted through the open entrance, carrying with it the scent of the blooming flowers and the earthly aroma of the forest.

krsna found the peaceful spot near a large tree, closed his eyes, and focused on himself.

I wished for reincarnation. Why?

I wanted to free myself from the curse of curiosity, I thought changing my body would set me free from it.

I failed.

I still remember my past right now but I can feel the wish I asked to The Existence of shattering my past is taking effect.

Why did I ask for such a wish?

Living my whole life I understood one thing, I was trapped in someone's grand scheme, I do not know who he is, I do not even know his name.

The overseer named Rudra was most probably the part of it,

This being used, made me experience many things, and to escape from this being I used such a method to shatter my past that was my only identity.

This wish made every person he knew will forget him,  this wish made his past nonexistent erasing it from the records of the time.

And such a thing even made him start to forget his own past.

At this moment he felt something he could not describe but he understood what it meant.

He forgets a memory.

What memory was it, he did not know.

He felt one by one, that every knowledge he held in his mind he started to forget.

He remained in the meditating position as he started to forget slowly everything he remembered except most vital information.

After hours of stillness, he asked himself,

What do I still remember?

My name,

My dream,

My determination.

These were the things that still echoed in his mind and with these memories he still remembered some vague things that he held most important in his mind.

He breadth deeply and remained in meditation still focusing on himself,

It was almost a down when the environment slowly started to become silent and the light of the day started to fade away, he heard footsteps, he opened his eyes and saw an old man approaching him with a plate of food in his one hand and glass of water in other, he was the caretaker of this temple.

Every caretaker of temples lives a life of solitude, lives in the ground of the temple, rarely evolving themselves into the affairs of the world.

They are always found absorbed in devotion.

He carefully took the seat near Krsna offered the plate of the food and placed the glass of water near.

Krsna accepted it the did not immediately start to eat.

He looked at the caretaker, waiting for him to say something,

"You look troubled, young man"

After a slight delay, Krsna replied

"Some things are going inside my mind"

The Caretaker nodded and said

"Eat food first, you must've gotten hungry after sitting here for a long time"

After saying this he stood up again and said

"Sometimes silence is the most beautiful answer to most of our problems live here as long as you want and if you need anything I am always here"

Saying this he turned and left.

Krsna stayed there for the next two days at the temple, sometimes helping the temple caretaker with some little work and listening to the various songs he sang in devotion to the Trinity and taking most of the time in meditation.

On the evening of the second day, after a long session of meditation, he stood and entered the temple and saw a simple wooden flute placed on the self.

He picked it up and walked out of the temple, he looked around him but the temple caretaker was not present they may have gone to the village for some work.

He walked towards the small forest on the side and finding a good and open spot he took a seat crossleged.

He still remembered how to play the flute after all this was his favorite thing to do so after checking the wooden flute for some time and brought it near his lips.

With a deep breath, he closed his eyes, and the first haunting note emerged from the flute's slender form.

The music that flowed forth was nothing short of magical. Each note was a sigh of nature's beauty, a whisper of the secrets hidden within the meadow.

The flute's melody, as delicate as the petals of spring blossom, soared and dipped, weaving through the evening air with ethereal grace.

His fingers danced over the flute keys, his heart poured into every note.

His eyes remained closed, lost in the world of his creation. It was as if the flute itself had become an extension of his being, a vessel for his emotions.

Attracted by such a beautiful melody a couple of moon buddies holding each other's hand came flying and stopped in front of him.

Moon buddies are human-like cloaked and hooded figures with a height of almost 4 feet wearing flowing and elegant robes. These robes were adorned with intricate patterns and designs making them look mythical.

Their face was obscured by the masks and these simple masks varied in design and color, making them look adorable to every living being.

Moon buddies are the children of the moonlight, a curious species that loves to fly and visit every beautiful place.

They also love to help any living creature.

The one thing that no one in this world can hate was these cute little children of moonlight, the moon buddies.

krsna continued playing flute, two moon buddies took a seat near him and without disturbing him they listened to the beautiful melody.

When Krsna stooped after a couple of minutes, moon buddies gently clapped their hands in appreciation.

krsna nodded and gestured to play the flute again, then out of nowhere one moon buddy took out a small piano, it seemed like a small piano materialized out of thin air into the hands of moon buddy and watching the one moon buddy another moon buddy also took out a small violin.

Both started to nod their heads continuously.

Watching them Krsna started playing another beautiful melody and two moon buddies followed him.

A piece of beautiful music transmitted in this small jungle.

The temple caretaker came from the village with a bag in his hand and heard these beautiful melodies, he smiled placed his bag on the corner, and walked in the direction of music.

He saw Krsna and two moon buddies enjoying the music they were creating, without making any sound he also took a seat near them, closed his eyes, and started humming in the rhythm of the music.

Together they continued playing different songs.

When one song ends, moon buddies clap their hands encouraging and praising each other, Krsna and the temple caretaker do the same praising each other.

As the music continued to spread, another moon buddy was attracted.

He was single and came flying and stood inside of other moon buddies,

He listened to the music for some time and then made some distance between them, then he took the stove out of thin air and then took out the pan and all other utensils and ingredients to cook and started cooking.

A delicious aroma emerged from the cooking, spreading in the air with beautiful music.

When the food was cooked everyone stopped the music and enjoyed the food silently.

After finishing the food, they again started playing the music.

This time the cook moon buddy also took out a small harp and started playing.

The music continued till the sun reached the horizon spreading the orange hue.

All stopped playing the music, Moon Buddies again clapped and bowed slightly as if they were expressing their gratitude.

krsna and caretaker deed the same and expressed their sincere gratitude.

Such are the moon buddies, they don't interact in vocal language but use gestures and movements to communicate.

Holding each other's hand all three moon buddies flew away into the sky, and only Krsna and the caretaker remained seated on the ground.

In this moment of beautiful silence, Krsna felt something strange and before he could focus on this, his vision changed and he found himself looking at the entirely different scenery.

A beautiful one-story small house, an old oak tree, a wooden chaise lounge, a small campfire, and a big square table and six chairs.

And on the one chair, someone was sitting,

It was the Krsna whose body avatar resided after his death.
