Arrival of Phoenix
He walked inside school with a bad mood. He has never felt that way before.
What the hell just happened?
He should be happy his Phoenix is back but why did he like something is not right.
He didn't look at anybody as he entered and walked to his seat.
Sarah saw him walked past her and she wanted to talk to him, when she remembered what happened yesterday. She wondered if that was the reason why he was shy and pretended he never saw her.
He should forget it like she has done too, she thought.
She was still smiling to herself when she remembered he was hurt, and wondered how he was able to come to school.
She stood up from her seat and built up the courage to go to him.
She walked to him and sat at the empty seat before him.
"Hey Zayn." She greeted with a nervous smile.
"Hi." He said coldly.
"How is your body? How come you are in school when you are badly hurt?"
"I'm OK." He replied nonchalantly.
Sarah noticed the atmosphere, and was about to stand up, but she remembered something.
"If you think... Nothing happened yesterday. You don't have to be like that before me."
"What are you talking about?" He asked confusedly before he now acted like he remembered. "Oh that. Of course, nothing happened. It's definitely not what either of us wanted." He said with a cold smile.
Sarah nodded with a fake smile and walked back to her seat, wondering what has gone wrong. She hasn't gotten to her seat when someone put her leg in her way and she fell down.
"Sorry. Mistake." The green haired, Dani said.
"You should try and go have sense, Dani." She said and Dani was about retaliating when a teacher walked in with a girl. The girl was extremely beautiful, with her strontium red hair, reaching her waist. She has a stern face and 'don't come closer' is written on her face.
"Wow! She is beautiful." Someone muttered.
"Rica, introduce yourself."
"I'm Rica. I'm the Phoenix." She said.
"Phoenix?" All chorused together. No one has ever seen a rare bird like phoenix. The only phoenix that is said to be born, was the one Sirai buried, one thousand years ago.
"Yes. She is the phoenix. Its a great thing to have the legendary Phoenix in our midst." The teacher smiled at her sheepishly.
Lilia sneered at her. This was not how she was treated when she came into the school.
"Go and sit beside her." She said pointing at the empty space beside Sean.
"No. I don't want to sit there. I'll like to sit with....him." She said pointing at Zayn.
"He doesn't have any supernatural power. Hope it wont affect your divine powers?" The woman faked a laugh.
"Of course not. He is my boyfriend." She said looking at Zayn who gave her a smile.
Sarah looked back at them. She saw the gentle expression she has never seen on him and the way he looked at her. She withdrew her eyes and tried not to let a tear drop.
'Of course sarah. No one will like a dirty, filthy and ugly girl like you. You are talentless and powerless. No one want a dummy like you' She thought and smiled bitterly before accepting the reality.
"You can go." The woman said. "Lilia, come sit beside Sean." The teacher said and Lilia reluctantly went to the empty seat beside Sean, While Rica went to Lilia's seat.
"Hey boyfriend." She said, laughing.
"Yes." He smiled and remembered what happened last night.
After sarah had left, he felt so boring and reminisced the kiss and laughed to himself.
He was about sleeping when he heard a knock.
He walked to the door and opened. He saw a girl in a hoodie.
"Can i come in?" She had asked.
"And who are you?" He had replied with a question.
"Let me in first. You can deal with me, when you are this powerful." She said.
He saw that she seemed to know his identity so he let her in.
She removed her hoodie and her strontium red hair fell free.
"You....?" He was asking.
"Big brother. You seem to have forgotten me." She said with tears in her eye.
"What?"
"I remember when you ask my name when we first met and I told you I'm a fish. You told me fish is delicious to eat, but not the kind of mine. You said I'm too pretty to be without having a place to stay. You said you are an Orphan and we should as family. You told me this house if for us and for only us." She narrated with tears rushing out of het face.
He was flabbergasted and speechless. He couldn't believe what he was hearing. His Phoenix he's been looking for, for ages is alive, and standing before him.
He walked very closer to her and cupped her eyes.
"Is this real?" He asked with emotions.
"Yes, its real." She said and they hugged.
"Like.. Is this my Phoenix?" He asked again with his eyes red.
"Yes its me." She replied, still hugging each other.
"Its been ten years, you know?" He said.
She got missing when she was ten.
It was noon when she went to save some demons that was fighting with a human in the forest nearby.
"Big brother, your brothers are harassing people. I'm going to deal with them this time already." She had said and left her painting with him and left.
"Dara follow her secretly." He said to the black crow who obeyed him and flew after him.
After four hours they had left, the crow reported back she has been abducted by some monsters.
He remembered he was very angry at that time, and couldn't eat well for seven years.
He hugged her tightly as the other one cried.
"I'm not gonna let you go this time. I'm going to do everything you request for." He said withdrawing from the hug.
"Really? Even if I tell you to help me kill someone?" She smirked.
He thought she was very cute and nodded to het request.
"Who is the person? I'm gonna do it for you." He smiled.
