Entering the Myriad of Magic

Huge ripples spread across the sky as the gate opened. For a moment, it seemed like the end of the world had finally happened. However, soon, the ripples disappeared as the gate completed its opening.

"Incredible,"

Aiden's eyes narrowed as he stared at the Gate of Magic. The aura it was giving now had risen exponentially. if the aura it was giving before looked like that of a living thing, then the aura it was giving out now looked like a divine being whose aura couldn't be tainted by the world outside.

"We are going to activate the gate. This would allow you to enter the Myriad of Magic. I hope that you already know what to do. I wish you good luck!" Mr White spoke before gesturing again.

Right after Mr White completed his speech, the gate let out a slight sound reminisce of that of a car starting. All of a sudden, a veil of glittering stars fell on the students. In the next moment, the students were all transported to another dimension, disappearing from the surface of the earth.

Seeing the students disappear, Mr White proceeded to descend from the stage. However, after taking a few steps, his face suddenly turned pale and he turned to look at the man behind him: the same one who had activated the Gate of Magic.

"I forgot to tell them about the amount of time they are supposed to spend in the Myriad of Magic!" Mr White said to the man.

"Wait, you did?"

After hearing Mr White's words, the man's body trembled and his body turned pale.

Mr White nodded. he couldn't believe that he had forgotten to say something so important. By not saying this, he could possibly endanger some of the students' life!

"Don't worry, I think that they know it. Moreover, the gate of life would eject them after two hours. So, I think that even if we forgot to tell them, the gate would!" the man said after some time.

"Oh, I see...." Mr White heaved a sigh of relief. He couldn't believe that he almost led to the death of some students. "Let's wait for them. I hope that nothing bad really happens like she said!"

"Let's hope!"

********

"Where the hell am I?" Aiden muttered under his breath as he slowly opened his eyes. He was just about to ask Ace what he was supposed to do when he was suddenly teleported away.

"Wait, it's dark?" Aiden thought as he inspected his surroundings. He realized the place he was now was slightly dark as if he was in.... space. Aiden began to move around, trying to figure out what was going on. After checking around for a while, Aiden's body suddenly trembled as his body paled.

"Sh*t! I am back here again?"

Aiden seemed to have remembered something as his eyes widened. turning his head. He saw a blue star, "Just as I guessed. It is indeed here. Wait, can here be the myriad of Magic?"

When he first opened his eyes, he realized that this place looked familiar. After glancing around for a while, he realized that this place was completely dark. However, he still had the feeling that he had been to this place before. And just as he had guessed, He was back in the void where the crazy star had tried to absorb him.

"But if this is the myriad of magic, does it mean that everyone is supposed to go through the pain that I went through?" Aiden pondered. If this blue star was the so-called myriad of magic, did it mean that everyone was supposed to go through the same pain that he went through?

"No!"

A voice suddenly echoed in Aiden's ears startling him.

"Who is that?" Aiden immediately turned to the place where he heard the voice coming from. However, to his surprise, he realized that there was no one there. Could it be that I am hearing things because I am in a predicament? Aiden couldn't help but think.

"No!"

Yet, the next moment, he heard the voice again. Aiden immediately turned to the source of the voice but yet again he didn't see anyone. This made Aiden realize that there was indeed someone here. Moreover, the person could somehow read his mind.

"Does this mean that she is a psychic? And a strong one at that?" Aiden couldn't help but think. The only people he had heard of who had the ability to read people's minds easily were Psychics. Moreover, they had to be really strong in order to do that.

Judging from the fact that the person was able to easily read his mind, he realized that the person must be really strong. At least, the person had to be stronger than Mr White. A person of that calibre... Aiden couldn't even guess what the person was capable of.

"Miss, Please, I don't know what you are doing here, but can you tell me what we are supposed to do here?" Aiden couldn't help but ask. Judging from the voice of the person, Aiden figured out that she was a female.

"To think that the chosen one would be so scared," Aiden heard the voice again. However, this time, he heard right behind him.

Aiden immediately jumped away as he felt chills run down his spine. Turning his head to look in the direction of the sound, he saw a teenage girl looking back at him with a slight smile on his face.

"Beautiful!"

Aiden subconsciously muttered under his breath. At this moment, the girl he was seeing could only be described as beautiful. In fact, he was the most beautiful woman Aiden had seen in his entire life. Even the models he saw on television couldn't match the girl he was seeing.

From her thin slender legs to her face, she looked like a goddess whose beauty was unmatched across the heavens. Her smile, which looked like it could enchant countries and cause chaos, made her look even more beautiful and enchanting.

"Stop looking at me with that disgusting expression on your face!"

Aiden suddenly heard a voice that pulled him out of his trance. Unknowingly, he had been staring at the girl for some time now. It seemed like he was briefly enchanted by the girl's beauty.

Realizing this, Aiden couldn't help but raise his guard. Even though the girl was beautiful —In fact, she was the most beautiful person he has seen in his life— he was by no means a simp. He wouldn't go out of his way to look at a woman for an entire minute or so without realizing it. There was definitely something involved in it.

"Hm, you realized it. Not bad... "

Seeing Aiden's cautious attitude, the girl let out a slight chuckle before raising her index finger showing that she was about to say something important.

"I didn't think you could figure it out. It's surprising that someone from another timeline was able to easily see through my Charming technique!" the girl said with a teasing smile on her face as if she knew whatever Aiden was thinking.

"What did you say?" Aiden blinked his eyes in shock. How did she know? How did she know that he was from another timeline? Could it be that she was also from another timeline and she was just transported into this space just now?

After all, Aiden was also transported into this place in his dream being transmigrated into this world so he could help but think that way.

"Are you..."

"No! I am not from another dimension like you!"

Realizing this, Aiden wanted to speak but the girl beat him up to it. Hearing the words of the girl, Aiden's face turned grim. it wasn't because of the answer she gave but the fact that she seemed to have known the question before he even asked.

'Could it be that she could read my mind?'

Aiden frowned as a thought popped into his brain again. When he first heard the voice, he speculated that the person behind the was a psyche since they were the only people who had the ability to do something like this. However, as soon as the girl appeared, he dismissed the idea from his mind since she looked so young — she was around his age.

There was no way that a 16-year-old or so could be a psyche —more or less a powerful one at that. A sixteen years old girl who was stronger than Mr White; how was that possible? Yet, after the girl answered his question just now, he realized that maybe his speculations weren't wrong at all. The girl was indeed reading his mind. But how was she doing it?

"You want to know how I do it?" the girl suddenly asked.

"Huh? What?" caught off guard, Aiden muttered in confusion.

"The way I read your mind!" the girl rolled her eyes, "I know that you are really interested in it after all!"

"My mind? Wait! You mean you can really read my mind?" Aiden's body trembled as his eyes widened in surprise.
