Part2 (The rise of a hero)

While Andrey is still spacing out a loud sound off bell wake him up it's a signal that enemies are attacking their base as he grab his sword and prepare to rush for defense but Destro stop him and ask "where are you going?" Andrey shouted as he answered "where else I need to help my comrades in defending our base! " Destro laugh and ask Andrey again "in your current state what can you do to help? You will only serve as an appetizer for the monsters. Ah right at least you'll be on a good use for them. " Andrey face became red because of anger and shout "what do you want me to do? I can't just wait here while my comrades are being slaughtered nor scape just to save my own skin! " Destro walk towards Andrey and line his head to his head then said " there is a third option, accept the power and you can save your comrades also you can save all of humanity for being extinct". Andrey froze for a second then think about all the options that he have in that very moment "if I go on to battle I'll surely die but if I ran away all my comrades will curse me and eventually when this base is destroyed in tomorrows battle humanity will lose and will be extinct. If I consider accepting god Destro' s offer I can save all my comrades and ensure the existence of humans in this world". While Andrey is lost in his thoughts Destro ask him in serious look "what shall it be? Do you accept my offer or not? Remember the longer you answer the closer your enemies will be, so do you want it or not? " Andrey suddenly shouted and said " I need the power to save my comrades and all of the humans in this land" Destro smiled and put his hands to Andrey shoulder then say " you ask so you will receive, the power that can save humanity and put the balance back in this world" suddenly Andrey body started to glow and as the light enveloped him he feels something warm and he feels the sword on his hands became lighter. Destro shouted with joy "congratulations Andrey you are now the protector of the balance of this world". Andrey started to feel the over flowing power within him but as he started to think that he can finally wipeout all the demons and monsters Destro gave him a warning "now you have the power to save your kind don't try to exterminate all the demons and monsters because when the balance is disrupted because of you will be in the deep sleep and you will only wake up if humanity face extinction again". Andrey started murmuring to him self "what is the use of this power if I couldn't erase all the demons and monsters? " Destro knowing what is on his mind make a serious tone and said "do you know why the balance of this world is so important?" Andrey became confuse because of Destro's question and slightly shake his head then Destro continued his speech "balance is important for every living being like a man you couldn't move forward if you don have balance unless you crawl or a scale of it's not balance there will never be a fair transaction. Without balance this world can never move forward nor will be fair and without balance all who hunger for power will prosper and those who want only to live peaceful and simple life will suffer. To make it simple without balance, when your at the top you can control who will love and who will die, This kind of problem is not only limited to demons and monsters even humans have this kind of problem." Andrey gets furious because Destro aliened humans to demons and monsters "humans are never like those monsters we humans only loves peace! " Destro began shaking his head then he turn around and said "who do you think your talking to? I'll give you a good example, just earlier some of your leader's are conspiring with the demons just to ensure there position when demons rule this land. " Andrey step back in shock he can't believe what he heard from Destro and said " it's not true, no human being will support our extermination" after hearing Andrey grief because of what he said Destro turn back to him and put his hands to Andrey shoulders the he says "this is reality my child greediness is not limited to only one species, all of as us can be greedy in some ways." Andrey began to realize that earlier his thoughts are filled with greediness he wanted to be branded as a hero and have the power that no one can match. After realizing his own sin he fall down to his knees and weep like a baby. Destro didn't lift his hands to Andrey shoulder instead he grabbed and help him back to his feet then Destro cheer him and said "there's still hope! You can maintain the balance and protect those who love peace. Lift your sword for the weak and punish all who wants to destroy the balance. " Destro let go of Andrey shoulder but before he turn back from him he remembered something "ah I forget! I have another gift for you" he took his sword and give it to Andrey "this is no ordinary sword he will be your companion to your journey" Andrey became confuse because of what Destro said and ask "what do you mean by companion? " Destro answered with a smile and said "this katana can transform to a human at his own will when your not in battle and it will come back to being a sword if you call his name no matter where you are. " Andrey didn't give an reaction because his thinking that after every mission his sword will forget him so it's not worth to get excited. Before Destro vanish he leaves a parting word to Andrey "don't worry your sword is exempted to your curse, he will never leave you not forget you! Now I got to go and you need to hurry to the front line or else someone might die. "

When Destro completely vanish Andrey hastily go to frontline and ask the captain if he could lead the first line of defense. The captain approved his request thinking that it is there final battle and said to Andrey "your young yet so brave your family will be proud for you. This might be our last battle and I don't want to leave any regrets" then he turned to the other warriors and shouted "they might kill our body but they can never kill our spirit, we will fight until we draw our last breath! " then all the warrior's in his command shouted as loud as they can do but Andrey silence them and shouted as loud s he could "I will never let anyone die tonight!. " All of the warrior's started laughing and some are teasing him "go boy save us, be our shield, you are our hero" hearing those words Andrey mistaken mockery as a compliment and boost his moral and confidence.
