"Hear me out clearly Mrs. Jannison, you have no escape route, everything happens according to my wish. If you wish to be freed you need to comply with my wishes or else you will have to witness the extremes" Victor's calm warning made Mia's whole body shiver.

Mia kept staring at the floor not replying to anything, she didn't move an inch.

"This is Hazel, my fiancée" Mia just nodded when Victor explained.

"Due to some issues she was unable to make it here, my wedding is fixated after a week from now and I need you to take her place until she returns. I will pay as much as you want" Victor put his words without beating around the bush.

Mia stood with a confused expression all the while listening to him.

"So tell me how much do you want?" a slap landed on Victor's cheek as soon as the question rolled out of his lips.

While Victor stood astonished, Travis pulled the trigger and placed his Gun on Mia's forehead.

"Do you even know who he is? Do you know what will you be going through for pulling such an act?" Travis screams echoed in the whole room.

"Didn't you hear what he said? He is asking a married woman to take the place of his fiancee and he negotiated to pay me so that I can be his wife. What does he even think of me? As a prostitute?" Mia screamed back.

"Travis, stand back. Take the Gun away from her head. I will talk to her" Victor ordered him.

"Travis, this is my order. Step back," as soon as he heard an order from Victor's mouth Travis stepped back.

"Hear me out Mia, there is no escape route for you. I don't encourage unnecessary fights, it will be good if you let me know about your husband and your family. I will personally talk to them and assure them," Victor stated.

"What will you assure them, when I am not into the thing you are saying. How can you even ask me to act as your fiancee? How can I even believe in you? You tried to kill me a few hours back and now you kidnapped me. How can I know that this is not any fake story of yours?" Mia kept posing questions without a break.

"Look Lady, in no way do I have time or interest to create a fake story and make you believe in that. I wouldn't even have thrown a glance at you, if you weren't her exact replica. Now stop wasting any more time and let me know about your family, it will be better for both of us," Victor warned her.

"I am not devoid of problems in my life that I wish to add a few more to my list. I am not going to do anything. If you leave me, I do have other work" Mia used the same tone he used on her.

"You can only step out from here when I get all the things I need" Victor warned her.

"Good, do whatever you want. I am not giving you any information" Mia was adamant.

"Look Mia, don't be like this. Understand my helplessness, just hear me. My wedding is not just an alliance of two people it is an alliance of two powers, it has much more to do. If that doesn't happen it will result in damage which will affect a lot of people than you can imagine. I just want you to be in the place of Hazel until she returns, I will give you anything you want. I will treat you with respect, I will talk to your family and clear their confusion. Just give me their details and I can explain to them everything clearly" Victor requested.

"What does he mean by his marriage affecting a lot of lives? Who the hell is he? Why is his fiancee an exact replica of mine? How is that even possible? Is he even speaking the truth or is this a fake story? Whatever, it is not safe to give our details to a stranger. I will keep my calm no matter what," Mia thought to herself.

"It's not the time for you to stay calm, speak up" Victor shrieked yet Mia kept looking at every possible side ignoring his angry stare.

"I told you this is not the way to deal with her. Tell me who the hell are you and we want your details" Travis pointed the Gun on her forehead and this time Victor didn't ask him to avert it.

Victor smirked looking at her sweaty hands and trembling legs.

"He continuously stated that he needs me, so he won't dare doing a thing to me. Even if he does something to me what do I have to lose? I won't answer him" Mia made her mind to stay calm no matter what.

"Do you think this is all a game? Do you think I don't have any other work than begging you? Don't you dare play with me," Victor shrieked which made Travis look at him in shock.

Victor was surprised looking at Mia, who didn't even flinch hearing his warning.

"What is the matter with her? Why is she not even reacting to my warning? Generally, people flinch hearing to my voice, why is she not even paying heed to it" Victor wondered.

"Maybe people fear the power you have and not you" his subconscious mocked him taking it as a cue.

"Stay silent as much as time you want, let me know if you need something. I will be in the other room" Victor pointed towards the adjoining room and walked away signaling Travis who followed him.

"This is Mia no one can scare her" Mia squealed to herself and settled on the couch in a comfortable position. The minute she closed her eyes her mobile started ringing.

"Hello, who is this?" Mia questioned picking the call she received from an unknown number.

Mia's head spun after what she heard on the call, her whole body was covered in sweat, she was unable to catch her own breath. Mia failed to compose herself.

Without giving any other thought she ran inside the room where Victor is sitting in the middle, sprinting near to him in less than a second, Mia stated with a batted breath, "I will do whatever you want me to do"
