Extra 15: Dragon & Dragon Maids (36)

"Are you okay, Kurama-san?" - Lucy asked as she saw how the handsome white-haired man was in complete silence.

"I was just thinking about some things" - Kurama replied with a small smile - "But now that you're here, I'd like to ask you something."

"Huh?" - Lucy blushed when she heard this as she felt her heart pounding - "W-what?"

"Relax, you don't have to be so embarrassed" - Kurama replied as he shook his head - "I wanted to ask you if you could call Aries to talk to her about something important."

"Oh" - muttered Lucy regretfully as she started to think that she wasn't as beautiful as she thought.

"Sorry, it's just that I need to talk to her, but if it makes you feel better, then we can go out somewhere" - Kurama said as he gave her a small smile.

"Really?" - Lucy asked with surprise because she didn't expect to receive a date invitation after the white haired man's request.

"Sure, I'd be the worst scum if I give hope to a beautiful woman like you, only to stomp it" - replied Kurama calmly.

"It's a promise!" - Lucy exclaimed with a beautiful smile - "But why do you want to talk to Aries?"

She was confused, after all, she didn't think Kurama knew her new [Celestial Spirit].

"I have my reasons" - Kurama replied with a slightly mysterious tone.

Lucy shrugged and summoned Aries because she knew Kurama wouldn't do anything bad to her.

"I'm sorry ~!" - Was the first thing Aries shouted when she was summoned.

Lucy didn't know how to react to this strange introduction, more so when all the members of [Fairy Tail] looked at the blonde mage's new [Celestial Spirit] with surprise.

Aries started to tremble when she felt the gaze of all the men because she could still remember how her former mistress had used her to distract a group of men while she was leaving.

The poor girl still had nightmares of that event, although she was fortunate that she was able to return to the plane of the [Celestial Spirits] before anything bad happened because her former mistress didn't have much mana left when she summoned her.

If it wasn't for that situation, she would have been abused by all those men, unable to do anything to stop it because those had been her mistress's orders.

"Calm down" - Kurama murmured as he put his hand on the pink-haired girl's head.

Aries was surprised when she felt the white-haired man's warm hand, more so when she saw how everything around her seemed to freeze, even her new mistress.

"Fueeeee ~!" - Aries let out a small scream as she looked around, confused with the situation.

"Hello again" - smiled Kurama as he tried to calm the girl down.

"H-Hello" - Aries muttered in panic as she blushed because she could remember the man who had blocked her contract with Angel.

"It's good to see that you're not as afraid of me as I thought" - nodded Kurama as he motioned her to sit next to him - "Relax, I don't plan on hurting you."

Aries was silent for a few seconds as she debated whether it was a good idea to accept the words of the strange white-haired man, though she had to admit that it wasn't like it made much difference whether she accepted or not, after all, he was strong enough that he could override her connection to the key and send her straight to the dimension where the [Celestial Spirits] dwelled, or even keep her in the human world indefinitely without her being able to do anything about it.

She slowly walked worriedly to the side of the strange white-haired man, and sat down in a nearby chair as she wondered what it was he wanted.

"The truth is simple, I'd like to know a little more about you, and what you think of Loke" - Kurama said directly.

Aries blushed when she heard the name Leo had taken in the human world, only to sigh regretfully - "Do you know? I'm sorry ~! I'm sorry I asked that ~!"

"Relax, you don't have to be so defensive" - Kurama replied as he shook his head - "Anyway, answering your question, it's hard not to notice after hearing some things from Loke."

"I see" - Aries mumbled before sighing regretfully - "I like him, but he sees me as a sister"

"I know, he told me so" - nodded Kurama as he watched the girl get even more depressed - "Oh, I'm sorry"

"Don't apologize, it's not your fault that he doesn't love me like I love him" - sighed Aries as her eyes turned red with sadness.

Unable to do anything about it, she began to sob - "I thought I'd get over it, but it still hurts to see how he kept thinking about Libra."

Kurama was silent as she listened to Aries release everything inside her, her past, her fears, her worries.

She didn't understand why she was opening her hurting heart so easily, but she attributed it to her needing to talk with someone.

Kurama could only lament at how unlucky such a pure soul had been, it was as if fate wanted to hurt her constantly.

"And that's it" - Aries muttered regretfully.

"I understand, but now I ask you, what do you plan to do?" - Kurama asked while looking at the poor girl - "Is it possible for those two to start a relationship while we talk?"

"!" - Aries opened her eyes in surprise before sighing - "I don't know what to do, I want to stop them, I want to stop them from being together, but I can't do it, I love Leo so much, I don't want him to suffer more than what he already suffered because of me."

"Even if that means you have to continue to suffer and watch him be happy with someone else?" - Kurama asked as he watched the girl nod weakly.

"You truly are the purest soul I've ever met in this world" - sighed Kurama as he looked at the girl - "You should think more of yourself."

"I can't, Leo matters too much to me to see him sad" - sighed Aries as she started sobbing because it hurt her that the one she loved, was leaving with another.

Kurama was silent before patting her shoulder, something that made the poor girl sob harder.

It took about 15 minutes before she was able to calm down, and articulate her words.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry you had to see me like that" - Aries muttered with red eyes.

"No worries" - replied Kurama as he nodded, seeing how the pink-haired girl seemed to have returned to normal - "It's bad to have so much accumulated pain, and not release it".

"I appreciate your kindness" - Aries replied with a small smile before shaking her head - "I guess, you called me, so you could get me away from Leo, so I wouldn't have to suffer"

"In part, that's right, although it's still not one hundred percent sure" - Kurama replied calmly - "I created a barrier that makes time distorted, in other words, hours in here, are just seconds out there"

"Really?" - Aries said with surprise.

"I don't gain anything by lying to you, so you might as well take your time, so you can think things over and decide if you want to do something about it" - nodded Kurama as he watched the girl's eyes widen in surprise.

"Why are you helping me so much?" - Aries asked as she shifted her body uncomfortably because she wasn't very used to the kindness of strangers.

"Because as I said, you are a pure soul, and you don't deserve to suffer so much" - answered Kurama with honesty - "That's why I wish to help you, now, if you want to go ahead, it's your own decision."

"It's not necessary" - smiled Aries as she shook her head - "You can remove this barrier, I don't need to think about it, I won't do anything to prevent Leo's confession."

"Are you sure?" - Kurama asked as he looked seriously at the girl.

"Yes, our relationship may not have worked out, but at least the beautiful memories of our past, are still in my heart" - answered Aries with a beautiful smile.

"Why can't you be with him?" - Kurama asked with a frown.

"You mean a bigamy relationship?" - Aries asked as she tilted her head to one side - "Impossible, we [Celestial Spirits] can only be with a partner after we agree to be in a relationship."

"What about Scorpio?" - Kurama asked with a frown - "I heard from Aquarius the first time we met, that he was cheating on her."

"Well, he has suffered many punishments for how he is, they even created a room specifically named after him" - Aries replied as she scratched her cheek.

Kurama was silent not knowing what to say, after all, he thought that after one or two times, someone would learn, but such it seemed that Scorpio was someone who enjoyed his freedom.

"As for Aquarius, we've all told her to leave Scorpio, but she always says she can make him change, she should have learned that it's impossible after a century of trying with no results" - Aries continued as Kurama went blank because this was more ridiculous than he thought.

"I may have to correct it myself" - muttered Kurama neutrally.
