Extra 14: Saikousoku Fall in Love ~ (14)

Kurama was walking calmly through the city, ignoring the gaze of everyone present, especially the women who seemed to want to take him home to keep him as a pet, or something like that.

"It's a bit annoying, but at least they're not yelling at me" - Kurama muttered, only to notice something that surprised him, a little girl was watching him from what seemed to be a lamppost.

Normally, this would be something strange, but noticing the wings the blue-haired girl had instead of arms, one would immediately associate her with a [Harpy].

Kurama stared at her for a few seconds while tilting his head.

The [Harpy] mimicked his movements, creating a strange scene.

"What are you doing?" - Kurama asked in confusion.

"Papi doesn't know?" - responded the [Harpy].

"Papi?" - Kurama asked as he looked at the girl.

"That's Papi's name, Papi the [Harpy]" - replied the blue-haired girl - "Or was it Papi the Papi?"

". . ." - Kurama gave the girl a blank look because it was obvious that she was an idiot in every sense of the word - "Anyway, what are you doing here, where's your family?"

"Family? Oh, you mean husband!" - Papi exclaimed as she fluttered with excitement - "I don't know."

". . ." - Kurama went blank when he heard this, as he felt his headache grow considerably with each passing second.

"Strange, Papi should be with husband, but he's not here" - Papi replied as he frowned - "Why husband is nowhere to be found?"

"Anyway, I think we better find him before you're in trouble for going to the street alone" - Kurama replied as he looked at the girl.

"Papi's in trouble?" - Papi asked as she cocked her head to the side - "Why, if Papi hasn't done anything wrong?"

"Because we can't walk alone on the street, at least most of the cases" - said Kurama calmly.

"Most cases?" - Papi asked while frowning - "Papi doesn't understand?"

"We better look for your family" - said Kurama as he grabbed the bridge of his nose because he could feel his brain cells dying with every second he talked to the blue-haired [Harpy].

"Thank you, you're Papi's friend!" - Papi exclaimed with an innocent smile.

Kurama shook his head and motioned for the girl to come downstairs, so they could go find his family.

1 hour later, Kurama was sitting in a park next to Papi, who was eating an ice cream with a smile on her face.

The white-haired [Kitsune] had a tired expression because honestly helping Papi find her family, it was a much harder job than he thought.

"Huh? What am I doing here?" - Papi asked as she tilted her head to one side.

"Argh" - Kurama was barely resisting the urge to send everything to hell, but his sense of morality was preventing him from doing so, though to his fortune, things quickly took a 180° turn because a male voice was calling out to the blue-haired girl.

"Husband!" - Papi exclaimed with a huge smile as she flew in the direction where she had heard the voice.

Kurama raised an eyebrow, only to see how a black-haired man in his early 20s was being hugged by Papi.

"Husband!" - Papi exclaimed with a smile.

"Where were you, Papi?" - The boy asked as he frowned, only to notice how the blue-haired girl had some cream on her lips - "Eating ice cream?"

"Yes, a new friend bought it for me!" - Papi exclaimed with a smile as she turned around, only to look confused as her new friend was nowhere to be found - "Huh? He's not around?"

"Maybe he's shy?" - The man asked as he raised an eyebrow, only to shake his head - "Anyway, you're in serious trouble for going out without my permission."

"Sorry, husband" - muttered Papi with a droopy look on her face.

"Ugh, just don't repeat it" - muttered the boy with regret because he couldn't see a sad girl without doing something about it - "Anyway, tell me what you've done on your escapade"

"Papi doesn't remember" - replied Papi as she tilted her head to one side - "But it was fun!"

"That's something" - muttered the man as he shook his head.

The duo walked back home, not noticing how Kurama was watching them from the top of a tree.

"That boy is much more patient than I thought" - said Kurama with a small smile on his lips as he disappeared from the place, not knowing that if it wasn't for his presence, that boy's life would be much more "exciting" than it currently was, to the point that he wouldn't know whether to say that his stay in this dimension was a blessing, or a curse for the boy.

A little over a month later, the group stood outside the maternity ward, waiting for Yukio to bring the newest member of their family to the world.

The girls had not changed much, in fact, the only apparent change was that they were now wearing slimmer clothes because there was no need for them to work as hard.

The farm was at its best, and now they had begun to hire more staff, leaving the girls more as supervisors than workers.

There were times when they would go into the fields to work, but those situations were becoming less frequent because they honestly didn't like the way the men were looking at them, after all, they were already part of a herd.

The other thing that had happened, was that Kurama had been reunited with Papi and her caretaker, Kimihito Kuruso, only to hear how he too had been a victim of Kuroko Smith, him possibly being the "replacement" that the black-haired woman, had found during the first weeks of Yukio's pregnancy. This he had deduced because the dates matched, more so when one took into account how Kimihito had not entered the hosting system for [Interspecies].

Kurama could only pat him on the shoulder along with some words of encouragement, to feel a little better, after all, he was partly to blame for the young man's situation, though after seeing how happy he was with the blue-haired girl, he relaxed a little.

Kurama also gave him his contact number in case he needed help with anything, or just wanted to come hang out with them, after all, their farm always had open doors for other [Interspecies] to visit.

Kimihito accepted without a second thought, after all, a change of air wouldn't hurt, what he didn't know was that his life would become much crazier than it was together with Papi.

Back to the point, Kurama was currently waiting with concern outside the

maternity ward because if he was inside, he would be much more nervous.

He was again feeling the same way he felt when Naruto came into the world.

"Relax, everything will be fine" - Mil said as she placed her hands on the [Kitsune's] shoulders - "Remember that during all this time, there have been no complications."

"Should I supposed to be here?" - Centorea asked, confused.

"You are part of the family, so you have the right" - replied Urt with a smile.

"The one who shouldn't be, is Smith" - said Saane with disdain while watching as Kuroko stood next to her group - "You girls can stay, there's no problem with you."

"As usual, you're still a bitch, Saane-san" - said Kuroko with a frown - "Oh, sorry, I can't say that kind of thing, but you're one of those people that bring out the worst in one"

"Be silent, you're in a hospital" - said Urt with a strange, heavy aura.

Now that the new addition to her household was coming into the world, she was showing a strong maternal instinct.

"We're sorry" - replied the two women involved, only to let out a sigh of relief when they noticed how Urt looked in the direction of the door next to Kurama.

"If she's like that when it's Yukio-san's son, I don't want to imagine when she's the mother" - said Kuroko while Saane nodded weakly.

Fifteen minutes later, the doors to the delivery room were opening, showing how the doctor was taking off his surgical mask.

"Did everything go well?" - Kurama asked earnestly.

"Everything is in perfect condition" - replied the doctor with a smile - "The mother is currently resting next to the baby."

Kurama let out a sigh of relief as he asked if he could come in, only to see the doctor shake his head.

"She needs to recover a bit" - replied the doctor as he looked at the baby's father - "Not to mention that we have to mobilize them to a place more suited to their needs after their body gets enough rest."

"I understand" - muttered Kurama as he sighed regretfully.

"Relax, the baby girl is in perfect condition" - replied the doctor as he gave them a last look at the group before leaving.
