Extra 13: We are Pirates ~! (3)

Hancock slowly looked up as she waited for the albino's reaction, only to feel her heart skip a beat when she saw Kurama's furious expression.

He came from a world full of wars, one where different nations had lived in constant fights for territory, so he wasn't ignorant to the term slaves, much less when the Bijuu were technically one, but that didn't mean he accepted it.

Listening to Hancock's story, made him understand her personality a little more, and why she acted in this arrogant manner.

A screen, a mask she wore so she could protect her sisters and them from the past that haunted them, a personality she wished she could be from the bottom of her heart.

Kurama slowly closed his eyes before gritting his teeth in fury because he could see, without even having toured the world, how rotten it was to have an organization like the [World Government] in charge.

"I'll help you" - Kurama said as he looked at the woman with a warm smile, one that made the woman blush even more, after all, it was the first time she showed her vulnerability, it was the first time she revealed her past, it was the first time she experienced the warmth of human kindness as well as the empathy of being enraged at her bitter fate.

Kurama slowly walked over to where the woman stood and placed his hand on her back.

Hancock tensed when she felt the albino's warm hand, but did not stop, she stood in place as she waited to see how everything would unfold, and at the same time prayed that her trust would be reciprocated.

Slowly, she felt a warm sensation coursing through her body, one she couldn't remember since her childhood when she was still someone free, long before she suffered at the hands of the [Tenryubitos].

Hancock slowly closed her eyes as she assimilated the warm feeling and wished it would stay for much longer, but to her grief, she stopped feeling the warmth when Kurama finished his work.

"With this, there will be no more trouble, your past can no longer haunt you" - Kurama said as he gave her one last smile.

Hancock slowly walked to a nearby river and turned around, not caring that she showed her breasts to the albino, who wouldn't deny that a show worthy of the most beautiful woman in the world.

Tears began to stream down Hancock's cheeks as she saw how the mark that symbolized a past she wanted to forget, had disappeared from her body.

She could feel as if the chains that bound her, were breaking, one after another.

"See you" - said Kurama as he turned around and continued his walk to the beach, only to stop when he felt Hancock's arms around his body.

"Thank you" - Hancock murmured as she hugged the albino more intensely - "Thank you, thank you, thank you so much."

Kurama tried to say something but kept silent when he felt the woman's tears touching the clothes covering his shoulders.

He had no choice but to wait for her to release everything inside her, as well as the fear that had tormented her for years.

Two hours had passed, and Hancock's sisters had awakened and discovered about their ''release''.

They, along with Nyon, were walking to the beach because they had no news of Hancock, but when they arrived, they could do nothing but scream in surprise and terror - "What the fuck!"

"Huh?" - Hancock blushed when she saw her sisters and Nyon nearby, more when she was still hugging the white-haired man, so she quickly let go of him and averted her gaze with her face completely red from embarrassment - "S-Sorry!"

"What the fuck happened!" - Nyon exclaimed as she looked at her empress, only to narrow her eyes.

"Don't look at me, I just helped her remove the mark on her back that those filthy pigs of the [Tenryubitos] put on her, after that, she hugged me and started crying" - replied Kurama as he looked at the three women - "After that, she didn't stop until a few minutes ago."

". . ." - Marigold and Sandersonia just looked at each other in silence, then looked at their sister and noticed how she was looking closely at the white-haired man as if she was trying to memorize his every feature.

"Grandma Nyon, do you know what's going on?" - Marigold asked as she looked at the older woman.

"I think I know what's going on, but I need you to take your sister and bring her to the palace for a few hours" - Nyon said as she started to think.

"What about Kurama!" - Hancock exclaimed as she looked at the white-haired man.

"For Hebihime's sake, I need you to stay on the island for a few days to check something" - Nyon replied as she let out a sigh of relief when she saw how Kurama nodded weakly - "I would like you to accompany me to my home, there I have a room available and no one will bother you."

"No, he can stay in my palace!" - Hancock exclaimed as she narrowed her eyes.

"I'm sorry, Hebihime-sama, but this is for your sake, and to check my suspicions" - Nyon said as she stood her ground.

"Fine, you win" - Hancock snorted as she gave the older woman a dirty look, then looked at Kurama with a smile on her face.

Kurama was a bit taken aback by Hancock's expression but decided to ignore it for now.

Nyon watched this in silence as she pondered whether this was a good or a bad thing.

A day later, Marigold and Sandersonia ran in the direction of Nyon's house at full speed.

"Anee-san is in grave danger!" - Marigold exclaimed as she began to cry - "She looks like she's about to die, and we don't know why!"

"I knew it" - sighed Nyon as she shook her head - "I was afraid this would happen."

"Do you know what's going on?" - Sandersonia asked as she grabbed the old woman and started to shake her.

"First, I want you to let go of me!" - Nyon exclaimed as the huge woman set her down on the ground - "Ok, I want you to go get Kurama-dono, I need his help!"

The two women quickly called Kurama, who was watching the sky and set off in the direction of Amazon Lily's palace.

Hancock was lying on her bed with a high fever, and with a face that seemed to show that she had a serious illness.

"Anee-san" - said Marigold as she entered her sister's room.

"Marigold" - muttered Hancock as she slowly opened her eyes and looked at her sister - "I don't think I can hold out for much longer."

"Relax, Nyon-sama and Kurama-dono have come to see you" - said Marigold with a smile.

"Kurama!" - Hancock exclaimed as she suddenly stood up and ran out of the room.

Marigold was silent as she watched as her sister seemed to have recovered from her illness in a matter of seconds - ". . ."

"Anee-san?" - Sandersonia asked in surprise as she saw how her sister had recovered - "Are you okay?"

"In perfect condition" - replied Hancock as she smiled at Kurama - "I'll take care of the rest. How about if I accompany you to see my palace?"

"Sure" - nodded Kurama with a smile that seemed to take Hancock to heaven.

"Let's go!" - Hancock exclaimed as she grabbed Kurama's hand and led him around the place.

Sandersonia was silent as she watched her sister leave with her guest.

"That was weird" - said Marigold, who had arrived on the scene and watch everything unfold.

"She's sick" - said Nyon as she looked at the empress' sisters.

"What kind of illness?" - Marigold asked with concern - "Something to do with insanity?"

"Not exactly, but not that far from the truth" - answered Nyon as she shook her head - "She is lovesick."

"Love-sick?" - Said the two women as they looked at each other.

"Exactly, a sickness that the former empress of Amazon Lily suffered from" - answered Nyon as she sighed regretfully - "She fell in love during one of her travels, and not being able to see her beloved, she ended up dying of love."

". . ." - Marigold and Sandersonia were silent upon hearing this because the older woman's words sounded too unrealistic, though after seeing their sister's state, they could not deny the inevitable.

"A man capable of moving Hebihime's broken heart, I don't know if it's a blessing, or a curse" - added Nyon while shaking her head - "At least this man is not a bad one, an idiot, or one who will simply ignore Hebihime".

"I just hope that man won't do anything stupid" - said Sandersonia while frowning.
