2 Chapter Two

I was on the couch when an alert was saying that someone needed help. A human caught a vampire feeding on an animal. I hope that the vampire the person saw wasn't Deverell. My wings grew out and I flew out the window.

Flying towards an alley, I heard a girl scream and then a man said quickly," Just let me explain please." Do I know that voice from somewhere? The voice sounds hot, um, excuse me? Did I just say that?

 The girl that screamed said," No! Your a monster Gerard!" So the man's name is Gerard. Wait! Gerard?!

Before you ask Gerard and I used to go to school together, at least Gerard Angelus did. His friends used to pick on me and my friends. He was a jock, let's just say he hates me, the feelings mutual. 

Gerard begged," Please! I'm not a monster! Just let me explain!" I went into my human form and walked around the corner. They both stopped talking and stared at me. The girl took that chance to run. 

 She kept mumbled over and over," Vampires aren't real."  I grabbed and made her look into my eyes.

" Sweetheart your just dreaming OK?" She nodded and went back to go to her house or I hope the house she just went into is hers. I went back to the alley.

 As soon as my body turned around to go back to the alley someone slammed into the wall. Wanna guess who it was? That's right no other than the infamous Gerard himself. " Amelia. " He took a deep breath in.

" Um. When can I leave?"  " Never I'm afraid. " I spoke, Well half yelled half said," Why?!" He said," Calm down my love." My love?! " Hold on. My love? Did I hear that right?" He whispered in my ear. " Yep, you hear me just perfectly. " Just as I was going to respond a voice said," I am gone for like 30 minutes and you already have a vampire ready to kill you."

I rolled my eyes and said," Shut up Deverell. "Gerard's eyes started getting red, he is deadly angry," My name is the only name that can come off of your beautiful lips. " I ignored him," Deverell just go home and I'll be there soon." Gerard's eyes got redder if that's even possible. 

He yelled at Deverell, "She's not going anywhere with you!" " Don't yell at him!" He snapped his head towards me. I could feel my eyes getting goldish. He said," What are you, my love?" " I'm sorry." He gave me a look of confusion right before I slammed my knee into his nuts, he fell to the ground, I took that chance to run. Once war away from him my wings came out and I picked up Deverell.  Flying off, I heard an angry scream yell my name.

As we got back to headquarters. Deverell asked," Who was that? He seemed to know who you are." " I knew him in high school. He kept saying stuff like my love and all that." Deverell's eyes widened." What?" He said softly," I think that he's your soulmate. "

I gasped. No way - how is this possible? I asked," How?" " Hold on, what is his name?" I answered confused," Gerard Angelus. " Deverell said," Let me call him." 

How does he even have his phone number, there some vampire hotline or something? He picked up his phone and called him. " Put your phone on speaker."

 Gerard picked up, yelling agitated," WHAT?! " Deverell mumbled under his breath," Gosh you don't need to be rude." Gerard said harshly," What do you want?" Deverell said," Is Amelia your soulmate? "

Gerard said," Yes, but she rejected me." Deverell looked at me I put my hand out to let him know to give me the phone. He handed it to me. " Gerard." " Amelia?! Where are you?! Are you OK?!" I said sighing," I'm fine Gerard." He asked, obviously still worried," Where are you?" 

" My house." He demanded," Give me the address. " " What?! Are you crazy?!" He said desperately," Just please tell me."

" Fine meet me somewhere. " He asked me," How about my house? " Don't know where you live dude. " Uh. I don't know where you live." Gerard said," Just meet me in the same alley." " I'll be there soon. " He added," Don't forget to pack your bags." 

He hung up.  " I didn't even agree to move in with him! I only agreed to meet up."

Deverell said," Amelia,  calm down. Just remember your his soulmate. His other half, he needs you just as much as you need him." I said honestly," Deverell I don't know." He sighed," Do you even know what would happen if he stays away from you too long?" I shook my head no.

Deverell said," He'll become violent. He'll be mad all the time. If it continues they have to kill him." I didn't know that, now my hearts feeling little guilty for running away now. I asked seriously," Does that mean I have to go live with him?"

 Deverell didn't say anything. I sighed," What would happen about my duties of a goddess?" He said," You can still do that and live with him." " I'll almost never see you." Deverell said," Aww, thoughtful, I can always stop by. though." I sighed defeated," OK Let's go pack my stuff."
