CHAPTER 30:CHEATED ON ME

Zhao Haoran's hands roamed all over her body, slowly but surely making the woman under him shudder with want and pleasure.

"Hey, are you planning on torturing me the whole night?" She asked breathlessly. Without warning, Zhao Haoran inserted two of his fingers in her nether region, earning one of those throaty moans, that he loved, from her.

"Fudge!" She said as she threw her head back when he started moving inside her. "Faster, Haoran."

Obeying his wife's words, he bent down to place a kiss on her forehead then nose and finally lips where he lingered for a while.

Zhao Xia saw black first and then it exploded into tiny stars. That was her first release. Zhao Haoran peppered kisses all over her, bringing her from the heavens.

She then overturned Zhao Haoran, surprising him. "Now it's your turn ." She whispered as she kissed his chin and then lips. Removing his shorts and briefs, she was met with a big 'rod' , awaiting her attention.

"Damn hot!" She said, looking at the size of it.

"Let's continue this in the bathroom." He suddenly said, picking her up and strode to the bathroom, with her straddling him.

An hour later, they both walked out of the bathroom wrapped in bathrobes.

"My hand hurts." Zhao Xia whined, looking at her husband.

"Well, am sorry. But who told you to be so good at it , sweetheart?" Zhao Haoran laughed when she threw a pillow at him.

He sat opposite her on bed and took her hand, massaging it. " There, there."

After the massage, he brought her another t-shirt and pajama shorts from the wardrobe whilst wearing some sweatpants.

He climbed in bed and hugged her close to him, patting her back to coax her to sleep.

"Haoran?"

"Hmm." He hummed as response.

"Do you think that Liu's and Huan Kai's relationship will fall out because of me?"

"Hey," he started as he caressed her hair. "It's not your fault that you are his target and he doesn't know about your whereabouts yet, so don't worry. You have two powerful clans on your side that are willing to mobilize all their forces to protect you. Don't stress yourself about it, sweetheart, okay?"

"Okay."

"Now, let's sleep."

The next morning, Zhao Xia woke up late to find herself alone on the bed. A colourful note was placed on the bedside table. She picked it up and read its contents.

'Hey, sweetheart.

I have prepared breakfast for you. I had to leave early but I stole my morning kiss though. If you want to go out, there is a car I have prepared for you. It's in the private garage. The keys are on the table in the living room. And don't forget to inform me if you go out. Have a nice day and I love you.

From your hubby.'

She got up from bed, did some yoga poses and meditated for an hour. She showered before heading to the kitchen to have brunch since it was already afternoon. She lazed around the penthouse and then headed to the rooftop.

She stood at the edge, admiring the city from above. Suddenly, she heard sniffles and a muffled cry. Startled, she looked around and behind a lounge sofa, she saw something or perhaps someone.

Trudging towards the sofa, she was surprised to see a lady crying.

"Hey, are you okay?" She asked, crouching next to her.

When the lady looked up, Zhao Xia was dumbfounded.

"Lan?"

Lan wiped her tears with her handkerchief and hurriedly stood up. She plastered a strained smile on her lips and greeted Zhao Xia back.

" Hello, Miss Xia. I am so sorry that you had to see me in this state. "

"Let's sit down first and then we can talk about it if you want."Zhao Xia said as she guided her to sit on the sofa. After ensuring that they were both comfortable, she held Lan's hands to comfort her.

"Will you be okay to tell me what's bothering you?"

After a moment of silence, Lan spoke up.

"My ...my boyfriend is cheating on me in our apartment. You know that time, when we met in China, I had gone to attend a fashion show and he took that opportunity when I wasn't there, to bring another woman in the apartment we had shared for two years. And this morning when I returned from China, I wanted to surprise him but what I saw has broken my heart into pieces.I still can't believe that jerk has the nerve to cheat on me when I loved him more than I love myself."

"You know, my ex boyfriend also cheated on me with my bestfriend." Zhao Xia said.Lan turned to look at her.

"He cheated on you? Was he blind or something? Who would cheat on such a beautiful woman?"

"Some men tend to think with their d*cks. But hey, at least he brought me an advantage. I managed to get a diamond in form of my husband rather than the piece of coal I had. "

Lan chuckled at that and then looked at the city. "Yeah, you are right. I should also look for my diamond but for the rest of this year, I am going to focus on myself and my fashion brand first."

"You are a fashion designer?"

"Yes."

"Wow,which brand?"

"Blaze designers."

" I can't wait to try some of your designs."

"I am planning to launch another branch here in Japan, next week. Will you still be in Japan? I will send you an invitation."

"Count me in."

Lan smiled." Thank you, Miss Xia."

"Please, call me, Xia."

"Okay,Xia ."

"I bet your family is proud of you."

"They are.Even though am their adopted daughter." A mild smile was plastered on Lan's face.

"Can I tell you a secret? I was adopted too but my father treated me like his puppet until I found my real family. Right now he is atoning his sins somewhere."

Lan looked at Zhao Xia in pure shock. "Well, at least you found your family. I hope I will find mine soon even though I love my adoptive family."

"You will. I believe it."

They both sat in comfortable silence while overlooking the city.

"Now are you okay? Show that piece of garbage that it doesn't affect you when you meet. Let him feel that pain that you felt when you saw him with another woman. Show him that you have moved on and that you are a better version of yourself, okay?"

"Yeah. I won't waste my tears for a scumbag."

"That's my girl." Zhao Xia said as she patted Lan' s back.

"Hey, wanna go on a shopping spree?" Zhao Xia suggested.

"Sure, why not? I will go get ready. Am in room 72 on the sixth floor. "

"I will be there to fetch you in thirty minutes."

"Okay, thankyou Xia." Lan said as she opened the door and headed downstairs.
