It's a mix of sci-fi with magic, runes and cultivation and there is a lot of lore from other cultures, like the Nord/Viking culture. It has runes, wizards, shamans, mutations, genes, high technology, guns, spells, and abilities. The MC doesn't get reincarnated, and the novel has a different approach to system, that is very subtle. "Can it be done?" asked Lorin. She knew he had to be 'stealthy' sometimes while moving. If something always had Mack's position, it would be troublesome.

But Mack was concerned more about the blood, after all, he had warlock blood, if the ring sent his DNA signature to somewhere, he knew it was a matter of minutes to an entire elite squad of mages to come knock at his door... 'Nahh they would never knock' thought Mack to himself, while analyzing the ring.
