THE SEAL OF FIRE

Kryntel walks majestically to Leon and takes a bow in a well respected manner.

Sorry I am a bit late Master Leon, I was handling some Elvish matters when you summoned. I am Kryntel Avari from the flying ancient city of Oglaxia. I am here, at your service.... Wait a minute! Where is Xyndross? He asked, looking at Dendri and expecting an answer from him.

Come on Krynt! Why look at me that way? And how would I even know where Xyndross is. You got to be kidding me, replied Dendri.

Don't tell me you have no Idea of Xyndross whereabout. I can smell him right under your skin, Dendri.

Under my skin! Under my skin? How is it possible that you can smell Xyndross under my skin. It is really unimaginable! Are you accusing me Krynt?

Leon watched them as they argued, he has never been so fascinated like this before. He looked at Kryntel in awe, examining his long ears; one of the glaring features of an Elve, he also learnt that they are immortals.

From the look of things, it is obvious they both knew each other for a long time, and it seems they may not always in good terms, if he guessed correctly. Leon is filled with curiosity about who Xyndross is and would stop at nothing asking them.

Hold on both of you! Who is Xyndross? Leon asked them.

Dendri and Kryntel exchanged glance at each other, both of them not sure of who to answer Leon first. When all of a sudden, there was a mild thunderous sound and lightning inside the wardrobe, after which Xyndross revealed himself. He was a tall and slender old man dressed in a white hooded robe and carrying a Mythril decorated staff with him. Xyndross walks over to Leon.

I am Xyndross, the first and last bloodline to dragonborn, Xilbona - "the eternal one". And you my friend, must be master Leon - the last son of the Adini's.

Hello Kynt! Hello Dend! Sorry I am late folks! It is quite obvious that I am the one you all are waiting for, my sincere apologies. In anyways, we still have time to reach Demicron, Xyndross said with an assuring facial expression.

Reach Demicron! Where is Demicron? Leon asked, hearing the name for the first time.

The three of them were a little bit surprise hearing such a question from Leon. In fact the question had raised a lot of doubt about Leon's identity. Xyndross scratched his long grey beard for a moment, taking a brief look at Leon, wondering if he is the right person. Dendri and Kryntel felt the same way too, they also threw glances at Leon, hoping he is not a Doppelganger.

Leon noticed the awkwardness at which they stare at him, and wasn't really comfortable with that. He looked at himself to see if there is something wrong with his outfit and finds nothing. He immediately asked them what the matter is.

What? Is it a wrong thing for me to ask where Demicron is? And why are you all starring at me in suspicious manner? Leon ask them, not hiding his irritation.

Xyndross cast an identity detection spell secretly on Leon, but of course Dendri and Kryntel saw him cast the spell. Still yet, nothing happened to Leon, not even a reaction of any sort. Kryntel was quick to discover that Leon was not wearing "The Seal of Fire" on his right wrist.

Why are you not wearing the bracelet? Kryntel asked Leon.

Leon examines his wrist expecting to see an imaginary bracelet. But I don't have any bracelet. What bracelet and what is it for?

The bracelet is called "The Seal of Fire", and it is also your magical gateway into Demicron, Dendri said.

Something is amiss, how come you don't have the bracelet and yet you were able to summon us. Even though magic runs in your blood, it can only be activated with The Seal of Fire.

You must have missed it somehow, argued Xyndross.

I think he is a highbred. Or maybe something or someone triggered our summoning, Kryntel added.

Can you remember what happened before we were summoned, master Leon?

Leon narrated the whole thing that happened, how he came to meet his uncle but met his absence, the voices in the study, the basement , the voices in the wooden box. Yes, he remembered the wooden box. He was so distracted by the beam of light in the wardrobe and the appearance of Dendri, that he failed to recall that the wooden box vanished into thin air.

Xyndross explained that the wooden box contains the bracelet which are naturally guarded by unseen creatures with either good or evil tendencies.

Xyndross added that they will need to find out why the box vanished in the first place, and also locate where it vanished to, so that the bracelet can be retrieved.

He also suggested to Leon, that since they don't have a clue about what type forces is behind the voices he heard that lured him to the wooden box. He will need to cast a visual memory retrieval spell on Leon for them to see, perhaps there may be some details that Leon skipped unknowingly that will be of great importance to them.

Sit on the floor master Leon! Stay calm, take a deep breath and close your eyes. It is not painful, but it is going to make your head tingle a bit.

IRISTUS REVPUS ZIYIAIRUM EADULANTIS MEMUS!

After Xyndross finished casting the spell on Leon, he quickly drew a circle in the air and in an instant, it turns into a projected screen showing every everything that happened, starting from when Leon came into the cabin. They watched carefully, making sure not to miss any details. When they were done with watching, Xyndross again cast a reversal spell on Leon, stopping the tingling in his head.

Dendri said the purple journal doesn't seem blank to him, that it is filled with write-ups. He also suggested that the journal holds the key to finding the wooden box.

Kryntel agreed with him and also include the golden pen to the list, but didn't stop to tell Dendri that this is the best thing he had ever heard him say for a very long time.
