A JOURNAL AND A GOLDEN PEN

Xyndross tells Leon that he had to quickly climb up to get the journal and the golden pen, when suddenly they heard a soft lady's voice calling on Leon from afar, it sounded as if it came from outside the cabin. Gradually the voice became clear and clearer. It was Damia calling. She was at the family house to check on Leon, and was told by Zali that he went to his grandfather's cabin to meet up with his uncle.

This is not good. Someone is coming for you master Leon, and it doesn't sound like an uncle to me, but like a woman. Is she your wife? Dendri asked Leon, wanting to be sure.

No! She is not my wife and I am not married yet. She is just a friend I met yesterday, her name is Damia. And can you all, please stop adding master to my name. I prefer to be called Leon. Just Leon, okay.

Damia walks into the cabin, still calling on Leon. She saw the study door wide open and the room quite empty, but didn't get to see the opened wooden slab cover at the top of the basement, because it is completely hidden behind the polished oak office table.

Still calling on Leon time to time, she searched the two rooms in the cabin but still didn't find him or his uncle. She decided to sit on a rocking chair outside the cabin and waits for them to return, after all the door wasn't locked, it then meant they didn't go far from the cabin, she thought.

Her voice sounds familiar. What did you say her name is again? Xyndross asked Leon.

She is Damia Langston, we met at the bus station yesterday morning, I later happens that her Dad is a close friend of my father here in Muskvile.

I wonder why she came looking for me here at the cabin, replied Leon.

Dendri suggested that she sounds desperate in her voice, and seems to be a very possessive lady. You have to get the journal and the golden pen as quick as possible without creating attention. She must not see us, Dendri cautioned.

Yes. no one can see us in this world. But only you can see us in this world, replied Kryntel.

So what if she sees you by mistake. What is going to happen? Leon asked wanting to be sure before climbing up the ladder.

We will vanish at instant. Even before she set's her eyes on us, and return to our world, replied Xyndross with a soft laughter.

If you all return, how can I reach out to you all? I mean, how will I summon all of you back again? Leon asked with so much anticipation.

Don't worry Leon, you will always find a way to us. Just believe in yourself Leon and you will start doing the impossible.

And always remember; not everything you see in Muskvile is real _ Muskvile is magical _ and every spell comes with a price, Kryntel replied Leon. Trying to be a bit encouraging and also with a touch of advice for him.

Leon was now in a state of perplexity by Kryntel words. He just stood there, motionless with his right foot on the first step of the ladder, trying to gather meaning out of what Kryntel just said. He let go with worrying his head and decides to ask Kryntel what he meant.

I don't understand what you meant by "not everything you see in Muskvile is real." Are you seriously implying that you guys are not real to me?

We will be real to you Leon, but that is if you choose to believe that we are also real and do exist. We are not here on our own accord Leon, but for a greater purpose in fate, which you have a major role to play. It is a fight between good and evil. And everyone, not only in Muskvile, is depending on you Leon. Muskvile is magic when you see it, but now you are still blind to see it, said Xyndross.

Then make me see it Xyndross! Leon pleaded. I felt there was something weird about Muskvile since I was a kid. You can make me see it with a spell right?

It doesn't work that way Leon, you just have to figure it out yourself. You have to believe in yourself. You are created from magic, Leon.

Just believe, Dendri replies him.

Damia was now feeling restless, she remembered that the study room was wide open and couldn't help noticing lots of books in the shelves and few on the office table. She decided to go back into the study, and to also check if she will find an interesting book to keep her busy. She was scanning through a book and mistakenly drops the book on the floor with a slump when she was startled by a sudden noise behind the office table.

She went behind the table and was surprise to see an wooden slab cover opened at the top of the basement. She didn't move further, but instead call on Leon again trying to be sure.

Leon is that you in there?! Hello!! Leon are you in there?! Damia kept calling on Leon.

She wouldn't allow her curiosity which is the very part of her diminishes. She began walking gently towards the open basement, still calling his name. Expecting to see him or his uncle climb up from the basement.

*Before the book Damia was holding dropped from her hand.

The ladder shifted from the hook a little, when Leon began climbing up, causing a light creaky sound, and then there was a dull sound as if something slumps on the wooden floor above inside the study room.

Which made Leon to freeze and stop climbing, and to also listen and Observe. But it was already too late, Damia was almost close to the entrance of the basement, her voice were crystal clear each time she calls his name.

Leon looks down and whispers to them that he will be back, and raised his head to continue climbing up when he finally saw Damia starring at him on the top of the basement entrance with a smiling face that reads _ I have found you at last.

Leon looks down once more, and wasn't surprise to see that Xyndross, Kryntel and Dendri had vanished into thin air.
