NOT THE SAME PERSON HE WAS

The Djinni is a restless one. He disappears and appeared at different times in the study, which really made both Leon and Damia irritated.

Leon had learnt a lot about Djinni's and how they will grant wishes to humans, but they do their best to twist the human's words so that the result of the wish is not what was intended.

Damia knew so much about Djinni's than Leon. She knows they are magical cunning creatures of smoke and fire, and are often evil. Who need to be contained in a magical object to be controlled.

She reasoned that she didn't recall to have heard Leon making a wish to the Djinni; the Djinni is a tricky one, she concluded in herself.

Why did you say he had two Wishes left, when he didn't make a Wish at all? Damia asked Yekrua the Djinni in an upsetting manner.

Well, it is kind of complicated. You see! Times are changing, so are modifications to the conventional rules.

You really don't need to say it loud to make a Wish. You can also say it in your heart, or maybe put it in a signed written contract - And it's! Bingo!! Request approved!!!

You can even schedule your Wish at your convenience. "I bet you do rate me five stars, if I had my Djinni services app on both iOS and android stores." What do you think? Yekrua the Djinni asked, flashing his blue smiling face at them.

You can't fool me, and trying to steal a wish is unprofessional from a high status Djinni like you, Yekrua. Moreover, you didn't even ask me to make a wish in the first place. So my three wishes remains intact and unused, replied Leon.

But I have done a task for you master Leon, three in one actually. Task with an extra icing toppings, let me list them.

One; she can see me and my gorgeous blue face. Two; she can hear me - they said I have a wonderful voice, so I think I should take up a singing career and be famous...hmm? What do you think? Aaaaaaannnd! The last on the list!! numberrrrrrrr Thrrreeee!!!....She can also now see the golden pen! And this, master Leon its not an easy task - I suggest you reconsider, master Leon.

Please can you stop addressing me as master Leon. And why is everyone calling me master Leon. My name is Leon. Just Leon.

Leon, since he is not willing to accept. I think you should assemble the golden pen back the way it was, Damia instructed Leon.

Leon understood Damia's intention and was about to assemble back the golden pen, but was asked to stop by Yekrua.

He agrees with Leon that all his three wishes are unused and intact.

With that, Leon didn't continue with assembling the golden pen anymore. He placed the purple journal on the table, and asked for his first wish.

He asked him to reveal and make them understand every hidden details it contained, but Yekrua objected.

There will be lots of consequences Leon, if I reveal the content of the journal to the both of you. She may nott even survive the energy.

Every written words and drawings in the journal are arcane energies designed and sealed among the stars for your understanding and consumption alone,Leon. Yekrua explained.

Don't worry Leon, like I told you earlier on. Your grandfather designed and wrote the journal for you alone to have access to it. And now is the time, Damia said with a beautiful smile, stroking Leon's hand gently.

Leon heeds to Damia and Yekrua warning, and this time rephrased the wish for himself.

Yekrua touched the journal with the tip of his index finger, and the hidden written words and drawings in arcane languages became visible to Leon, and he could easily understand them clearly. Then one after the other, the letters and drawings starts flying fast into Leon eyes through a string of light field.

Leon was unable to move his body but couldn't help but scream aloud, his eyes, ears, nose and mouth were emitting bright light as if his head will explode. The letters and drawings kept flying into his eyes until the last detail, then it stopped, suddenly the purple journal went ablaze and burnt to ashes in seconds. Leon fainted and fell with his head on the table.

Damia rushed to raise him up, but Yekrua tells her not to. He told her not to be suprise that Leon is going to wake up not the same person he was before.

Yekrua also assured her that she don't need to worry about her emotions towards Leon, because he is not meant to be with a single woman alone. To make herself happy, she should learn to enjoy every magical moment they share together.

Leon suddenly regained consciousness, but still feels that his head hurts a little. He turned to looked at Damia, who couldn't hide the excitement on her face that gradually overshadows her worries. He told Damia that she should return home for now and will give her a call as soon as he is back from retrieving the bracelet.

Damia was reluctant at first, but had to obey him at last, she doesn't have a choice after all, she thought. She told him not to worry, and that no one will hear of where he had gone to, or what had happened in the cabin. And also promised to be waiting for him till he comes back. Damia held Leon hands gently and told him to be careful, and didn't forget to instructed Yekrua to watch over him, before she turned and left for home.

Leon felt touched seeing her leave, but there's nothing he could do for bow. He rushed over to lock the cabin door, and opened the entrance to the basement. Yekrua called his attention back to the table.

Don't you think you are forgetting something, Leon (Fixing his gaze on the dismantled golden pen).

Oh! But you wouldn't allow me to assemble it back then. Don't tell me, you want me to carry you along. Leon replies Yekrua, as he goes back to the table assemble the golden pen.

Do you really plan in leaving me here like this, Leon? What sort of Djinni do you take me for? ... Oops! Careful with the bottle... You asked if I want you to carry me along!

Off course I want you to carry me along. Didn't you heard what she said? She said I should watch over you! Do you know what that means? I don't mean to be disrespectful Leon,... Is like watching over a baby.... Or watching over something fragile.....

Leon hurriedly slots the pen inside the left front pocket of his jean pant after assembling it and didn't care to listen to Yekrua's continuous talking, he seemed to be getting use to it already.

He quickly climbed down the basement and summons Dendri, Kryntel and Xyndross all at once. Instantly, there were flashes of bright light in wardrobe.

The three of them stepped out of the wardrobe, one after the other.
