DAMIA LANGSTON

Hey! Ash! How are you doing? I was hoping to meet you at home, sorry I didn't call before coming. We were having a walk down the lane, me and my daughter, and decided do take the chance to check on you.

Langston! Its been a while, that's really nice of you. Good to see you Langs. And you know you are always welcome to our home anyday! Please come, in both of you. And this must be Damia, look how you have grown up, a true replica of your mum. Please come in, both of you and make yourself comfortable.....Ashford warmly ushers them in.......

Zali its Langston and his daughter Damia.

Its really nice to see you again Langs! Ooh! Look at you Damia! All grown up and beautiful. Last time I saw you was on your sixth birthday. Hold on dear! Let me bring some refreshments. Zali said happily.

Langs you remember my son, Leon! He just came back from the city today. Ashford said with excitement.

How I can I possibly forget the young Adini, you are welcome back to Muskvile, Leon. Damia also came back today from Payora.

Leon extends a warm shake to Mr Langston and his daughter Damia. After Zali brought the refreshments and returns to the kitchen to tidy up the dishes, the two elderly men left for the study to discuss private matters, leaving Leon and Damia alone at the sitting room.

She asked Leon how he is settling down after such a long trip. That was when Leon recognised her voice, even though she is no longer weaing a red headwarmer, and also had a change of clothes. Leon was certain that she is the same lady passenger that he met at the station this morning -- His lady friend that talks too much. She seems alot calmer now and looks pretty much different from her appearance this morning, probably because of the way she wore her hair; with the braids wrapped around the top of her head like a crown and the shiny long curly black hair dropping around her shoulders and falling down her back – She was even more beautiful than Leon thought.

"She stood up. Gently carrying her gorgeously shaped body, with her hands resting on her large protruded hips ( that reminds him of Jane ) and gently walks towards an oak shelve at the corner, beside a rare large flower vase. She picks up a golden photo frame and looks at it for a while , and then stares at Leon, trying to be sure. Then her face gradually starts to wear an attractive smile."

Don't tell me you are the one in this photo? Your face looks alot like a girl, not to mention your long hair. Are you sure this is really you or your sister, Damia asked Leon with silent laughter in her voice.

Leon had not gotten the chance to really take a tour around the house. He didn't even know the photo Damia was holding and talking about. He decides to walk up to her and take a look. Leon smiled too when she showed him the photo, it was really him. His hair were very long and loose down below his shoulders. For truth, one may actually mistake him for a girl; but if not for ladies always finding a way to taunt a guy _ There were other two photo frames on the same shelve that had the photos of him with his hair well trimmed.

You know I don't have a sister, they are all photos of me. At a time my grandfather didn't allow my hair to be trimmed. No one knew the reason except him, Leon said.

I believe is for a good reason Leon, It is song among the natives that your grandfather, Qilexon Adini, is a good man and well respected in through Muskvile and outside its borders. My father told me that is legacies still lives in all the hearts of the natives in Muskvile, and they truly misses him. I know you miss him too Leon.

What will be his response to her he thought. It is an open fact in Muskvile, that he had been very close to his grandfather Qilexon Adini, than his father when he was still a kid at Muskvile before his mum took him away to the city.

Even at a tender age then, he could see many of the natives practically paying homage to his grandfather. He can still remember a time his grandfather was challenged by a certain man at the square, his grandfather asked one of his men to take him home. He didn't get to know what happened afterwards or how the quarrel was settled, but later noticed that his grandfather's right arm were paralyzed for three days.

Damia kept a fix gaze at Leon, looking straight into his eyes. This made Leon a little uncomfortable. He decides to go and sit back on the sofa. Something tells him that she is trying to seduce him, but thinks she only just wasting her time. She walks over to sit at the sofa a little bit close to Leon.

Leon there is something that I need to share with you...

Damia abruptly stopped what she was about to say to Leon when she saw Zali approaching, carrying a tray of freshly baked cupcakes. Zali quietly drops the tray on a stool besides them, flashing a radiant smile at them. She then calls on Ashford and Langston, inviting them over. Ashford replied Zali, yelling out to her from his study room, that they will come over soon to join them.

Ash, I think you have to hasten the initiation. They will come for him, and you know that, Langston argued, talking with a very low voice.

Qilexon had never planned for a forceful initiation for him. He said he will be initiated by his own will and time. And I can change what he had already designed for him. I don't have that powers, Ashford said almost whispering.

We just hope Imazz will guide him through within this short period of time. I heard he is already in Muskvile, that he jumped in this morning. Why hasn't he come visiting you guys since he arrived. Can't he even get it in his magical head that he is an uncle with a big task, Leon's fate is partially connected to him, cried Langston trying struggling so hard to keep a low voice.

Don't worry my friend. Even if Imazz decides not to take responsibility, I believe the loyal friends of Qilexon will not just sit and watch without doing anything, Ashford assures him....... come lets go and join them.
