"You thought you knew me, but you never did... I challenge you to a dual! Alexander White!... A dual to death!" Mike screamed out in rage.

*Gasps*

"Do you accept the challenge?" An elven lady who was dressed in a long-sleeved which button shirt, which was tucked in her tight black skirt, and had a name tag on her left chest, suddenly appeared before me, and asked with a smile.

"What?!..." I asked in surprise.

Things were going way too fast, for my brain to catch up.

"He said yes!!" The elven lady who appeared before me suddenly screamed out in excitement.

*Cheers*

"Hey! I never said that..." I tried to defend myself, but no one listened.

*Buzz*

People began steering off the middle of the hall, as blue lines began sketching a wide circular 3D ring. When the sketch was completed, it transformed into a real, solid ring.

Mike quickly ran up to the ring and began hopping around, while flexing his muscles to the crowd. I was stunned at everything that was going on, and just stood where I was in a daze.

"Morale high!! Morale high!! Morale high!!" The crowd began cheering for me to climb up the stage.

"Stop being a p*ssy and get up there!!" A voice screamed out from the crowd.

"You shouldn't have tried to kill him if you knew you were a sissy!!" Another voice echoed.

"Real men don't cower like you do in duals!!" another voice bellowed.

The crowd began stoning me with cusses when they saw me rooted on the spot, so I quickly ran up the ring before they start getting violent. The moment I stepped into the ring, a shield-like dome suddenly fortified the arena.

"There's only one rule for this dual... Only one person walks out alive" the elven lady who had a name tag announced from outside the arena, "Fight!!" She screamed out in excitement.

Mike smiled at me mischievously and muttered, "Tier one weapon magic, eradication blade". He then began coughing violently and retching, till a brown hilt suddenly poked out from his mouth. He then grabbed the hilt, and pulled out a wide short sword, with jagged edges, from his mouth.

"Why are all your abilities disgusting?" I spat out in disgust.

"It's better than none..." He said with a creepy smile, and dashed towards me with the jagged short sword he spat out.

"Tier one elemental magic, invulnerability" I muttered quickly.

Mike got before me, and slashed his sword at me, but it just phased through me like I was an illusion

"Tier one weapon magic, ninja blade" I muttered again, and quickly pulled the hilt of my katana from the first sized fog that materialized before, but I willed for it's sheath to remain in the fist sized fog.

Mike, whose sword phased through me like I was an illusion, had a shocked expression on his face. He already guessed I was a inheritor for me to be in the business district, but my unique ability stunned him.

I didn't wait for him to recover, and quickly slashed my sword at his outstretched arm which held his sword, and incapacitated it. And before he could react, I quickly circled him while flicking my blade at him, then turned my back to him, as his body exploded in a million clean sliced pieces.

*Silence*

The entire hall was dead silent as everyone stared in awe, I unwilled my blade and took calm steps to the edge of the arena which was the border of the dome, and knocked on it gently, for them to pull down the barrier.

I was trying to act like badass.

But when I looked at the crowd, I saw that they weren't even looking at me, but at Mike's butchered body, with wide eyes. I was confused at why they were looking at a dead body, 'Aren't they supposed to be cheering for the winner?' I muttered to myself in confusion.

"The barrier is supposed to unsummon itself when one person dies... And if it isn't, t-then it means that no one is d-dead yet" I suddenly heard the elven lady's shocked voice from the crowd.

My jaw instantly dropped, and I looked at Mike's butchered body again, wondering how he was still alive. When suddenly, his body parts slowly began assembling themselves on the floor, and healing rapidly.

*Gasps*

What was more surprising to me... was how my eyeballs hadn't fell off yet. "what... The... F*ck..." I muttered in shock, and subconsciously took a step back. Mike's body slowly assembled themselves, and healed up completely. He then began chuckling amusement, as he slowly stood up.

"I knew you had so much potential in you... But that doesn't mean you can defeat me" He said and walked up to me with a creepy smile.

I was too stunned to move, and could only step back subconsciously. And when he got close to me, he suddenly whispered, "Do you have any spell that can get us out of here?" He asked with a panicked look.

I felt like it was my brain playing tricks on me due to shock, so I didn't reply.

"I'm f*cking serious. There's a fleshy bounty on our heads, and we're surrounded by bounty hunters. The moment we step out from this building, we'll get beheaded" Mike whispered hurriedly, with a dread look.

"I did nothing to acquire a bounty, so what are you talking about?" I whispered back in surprise, when I realized it wasn't brain tricks.

"Well SURPRISE!! There is" Mike joked in mockery.

"What are you whispering to yourselves!! You're there to fight, not chat!!" A voice suddenly screamed out from the crowd.

"I can get us out of here blindly... But if you're lying, I'll kill yo... I hate your abilities" I said in distaste.

"Don't sweat it, I was born to be the best" Mike grinned.

"Whatever... Follow the butterfly" I said mischievously, "Tier one beast magic, fog of deception" I muttered, and a thick black fog suddenly shot out from me, and encased the entire dome barrier in thick darkness.

Mike suddenly saw himself floating in an endless space of darkness. He was shocked and didn't understand what was going on, till he suddenly saw a colourful butterfly, flapping it's wings gracefully, and flying in a direction.

He then remembered Alex's words before he found himself here, 'Follow the butterfly'. So he willed himself forward, and followed the butterfly, till the butterfly got to a white door which was floating in the space of darkness, and disappeared.

When he got to the white door, he touched it's golden knob, which felt so real and smooth. Then twisted it open, and suddenly got suctioned into the door.
