Ruby went home that day thinking of how messed up everything was. She started scolding herself for not telling Stella the truth, but on the other, was her father who would do anything just to keep all his dirty little secrets away from the sight of others.

As she entered she saw her parents, who startled her because she wasn't expecting them.

"Ruby!" Mr. Willams called out "What are you doing standing there like a statue?" her father questioned. It was still surprising for Ruby that her parents were back home so early. "Come sit with us. We need to talk" he announced. While she walked over it felt like she was being summoned to come over as one of the members of their 'unofficial cult'. In that period she started going through all kinds of 'special' events that might have lured her parents back home so early.
