Stop The Scheming!

The Queen was brooding inside the study room, the future of the entire vampire royal lineage was now hanging by a thread. If for some reason the children of Zain and Jessy would turn out to be just a mere ordinary mortal being then it will be the end of the vampire existence, not really the end, only Jessy the crossbreed will remain alive standing while all the vampires will disappear on the face of the earth without a trace, wait a minute... aside from Jessy there was also another powerful crossbreed alive, her son Adam!

She was planning to tell the King, her husband about the incidence on the night Adam died, she will ask forgiveness and convince the King to return Jessy's memory of Adam, the King has the power to return back lost memories. He can remedy the situation.

But before she will do that, she must talk to Adam first, she was sure that she will not face difficulty in convincing Adam to take back Jessy again. Worst come to worst, it is the only solution left to ensure that the vampire lineage will live on for generations to come. As long Adam will agree to her plan, the rest will be easy. She will be able to find a perfect solution on how to make Zain leave Jessy somehow.

She walked out of her study room and looked for the King.

She saw him busy managing the gold mining down in the Core part of the Facility. She doesn't want to disturb him. She went to her room and donned her black cloak.

She then teleported herself into the city, in Gavin's condo unit, she landed right into the living room in front of Caden who was watching his favorite sports show at the moment.

Caden's mouth closed and opened without any sound...to see a woman suddenly appeared before him out of nowhere was a big shocker! To say that he was stunned is an understatement.

"Where is my son!?" The Queen's fangs were flashing.

"In his room, Ma'am!" Caden's lips trembled when he saw the fangs grazing inside the woman's mouth.

Margaret was about to wave her hand to freeze the boy...

"Ma'am, please don't kill me! I promise I will keep everything a secret. I won't tell anyone about you and your son. Please don't hurt me!" Caden begged, intense fear plastered all over his face.

Gavin seemed to hear the commotion outside, he emerged from his room in a hurry.

"Mother! Please don't hurt, Caden. He can be trusted!"

"Okay, just send him away for a while. I need to talk to you alone." Margaret throws Caden a death glare as a warning.

Gavin motioned his friend to exit the room. "Caden, please, take a stroll in the swimming pool downstairs. Wait for me there, don't tell anyone, okay?"

Caden nodded his head, he understood very well his friend's demand for secrecy and scurried hurriedly outside the unit, body shaking.

Gavin sighed deeply.

"Why are you here, Mom?" he faced his mother with an irritated voice.

"I'm here to propose to you my plan, son..."

"Huh? What plan is it? I'm not interested!" he was trying to dismiss his mother as soon as possible.

"I can ask your father to bring back Jessy's memories of you down to the last detail including her feelings for you. Your father can restore every memory that I wiped out from your lady love. And trust me, this time I will no longer oppose to you pursuing Jessy. You can have her all to yourself I will even help you myself," explained Margaret.

Gavin's eyes widen. What the fuck was her mother was talking about this time?

"You want me and Jessy to be together again? After you tried everything to tear us apart and now that you succeeded you are now trying to turn back the tide to its original state? What kind of games you are planning, Mother? This is absolutely crazy! No way, am not gonna be a part of your plan this time, hell no!"

The Queen was feeling dispirited upon seeing that he was no longer interested with Jessy. She was expecting he will jump for joy upon hearing her plan, but she was disappointed to see that he looks angry with the whole thing.

This is not what she was expecting at all!

"Why son---? You don't want to take back Jessy? You don't love her anymore? Why are you not going to cooperate with me this time?"

"Mother, Jessy is already the legal wife of my brother. How will my brother feel about this crazy plan of yours?"

"Don't worry about your brother, I will find a way to tear them apart from each other."

"Jesus! Mother, please stop the scheming! Aren't you happy enough that all your plans finally succeeded? Are you not satisfied yet after destroying your son's lives?"

The Queen sat down on the sofa feeling tired.

"I'm doing it for the longevity of our royal vampire lineage, son. Hope you understand. Zain had already bitten Jessy but he became a normal human being, he lose all his power, he's no longer the powerful vampire that he used to be. I'm afraid that their children will turn out to be ordinary mortal like their father and we lose our only chance to repopulate the world with a new generation of crossbreed vampire. The best thing to do is for you and Jessy to get back together again and reproduce vampire crossbreed heirs that will be both powerful like you two."

Margaret paused for a moment catching her breath.

"I admit I made a big mistake. I already regretted it. If only Zain didn't transform into a powerless human being, I won't be asking you to agree to this plan. Just that your brother's disappointing transformation bothered your father so much. I want to correct my mistakes. Please forgive me, son."

The Queen pleaded. Her face turned pitiful as if she was about to cry in front of her son at any moment.

Gavin closed his eyes, blocking the affection he had for his mother. "I'm sorry Mother. I'm no longer interested with Jessy after I have seen her making love with my brother a lot of times, I realized I already lose her for good. She now belongs to my brother as his wife. I have no desire to destroy their married life. Let's give the couple the happiness and respect that they truly deserved," he said in a somber voice.

Margaret stared at his son's sad face, totally surprised.

"Huh? You have visited the Facility since when---?"

"Since the wedding Mother. I have seen everything. I have seen what transpired between my brother and his wife on their wedding night. It killed my heart a million times and now I only have sadness and emptiness in my life. I am no longer interested in Jessy! So, please go away Mother!" his voice was cold and distant, filled with pain and suffering.

Gavin sauntered toward his room and slammed the door behind him.

The Queen rose to her feet, feeling thoroughly wretched inside.

She teleported herself back into the Facility, right into her study room, thinking of another plan.
