48 The Awakening

Cross went through the school year as cold as ice. He didn't talk to anyone and didn't bother to listen in class, reading from his mystery novels instead and performing at the top of the entire school. He had to be ready when Dumbledore came back, the only worry he had was when Luna was going to wake up.

Although Cross didn't know whether Dumbledore could get into the Room of Requirement or not he didn't want to take the risk.

5 weeks before school ended

Carl woke up from his statue like state. He roared and the black shell around him exploded, revealing Carl once more. Carl was bigger, his horn was longer, and his fur was shinier!

Carl felt reborn!

Cross looked at Carl and whistled, Carl jumped on Cross' shoulder and said "When are we going to kill that fucking guy?!" Cross said icily "Soon enough. I have plans." Carl growled "I knew that guy was bad news the first time I saw him."

Cross rolled his eyes and a tunnel formed under him, both him and Carl disappeared from the Room of Requirement.

Cross and Carl reappeared in Dumbledore's office.

Cross looked around and said "Ransack the place." Carl grinned and jumped off Cross' shoulder, going wild in Dumbledore's office, knocking stuff over and breaking things. Cross walked to the sorting hat and said "Scourgify. Ultimate cleanse." The hat woke up and said "It's you... The boy I couldn't see through... Though I hear you're an Elf?"

Cross replied "You don't need to worry about that. The control you've been under has been broken. Give me the sword." The hat said "The sword? Why would you want that?" Cross said coldly "I have my plans." The hat spat out Godric Gryffindor's sword and Cross caught it before throwing it in his storage bag.

He pointed to the hat and said "Cooperate and I won't destroy your spirit." The hat said nothing and Cross said "Ligilimens." before changing the hat's memories to 'see' Umbridge coming in the room frantically searching for something before threatening the hat for the sword and telling it to keep quiet or she would leak the goings on at Hogwarts.

After he was done, he dropped Umbridge's cat pin on the ground, semi-hiding it under a desk before whistling. Carl jumped back to Cross' shoulder with an excited look.

Cross looked around, making sure everything was in order and no traces were left behind. When he was done, he teleported back to the Room of Requirement, continuing with his school life as if nothing happened.

1 week later

Blue woke up and chirped loudly, breaking the black shell around her. Flapping her wings. Her blue feathers shined and she looked even more beautiful and elegant.

Cross whistled and Blue flew to his shoulder, her eyes as cold as ice. Cross fell through a tunnel and landed in Dumbledore's room once again, Blue flew over to Dumbledore's phoenix's perch. She sniffed the ashes before flying back.

Cross teleported outside of the castle and Blue said "Won't be long." in a deadly tone. Cross said "I want it alive." Blue nodded and her figure blurred as he sped away, disappearing in the blink of an eye.

1 week later

Selena woke up and hissed angrily. Her black shell burst out and Selena was completely reborn. She had big wings on her back and arms and legs, looking like a long snake-like dragon. Her scales were completely black and her eyes were golden and slitted. She flew over to Cross and coiled around his arm.

Cross tunneled into Snape's potion collection and stole all the Veritas Serum, Selena sniffed around before destroying all the potions having anything to do with the mind and taking all the ingredients to make more mind potions, along with the ingredients for the Veritas Serum. Cross teleported away with Selena after the job was done.

1 week later

Grey roared and shattered the black shell. His silver horns and spikes gleaming dangerously, while his red scales shined underneath. Grey landed on Cross' head and Cross teleported out of the castle, he said "Go help Blue. Come back with the Phoenix." Grey nodded and said "Consider it done." his eyes narrowed and his wings made a metal scraping noise before he shot into the air, flying away.

Cross returned to the Room of Requirement and sat down, keeping his Mantra out as he practiced his control over the Time Element.

1 week before school ended

Cross teleported outside, Blue and Grey landed on the ground. Grey was holding Dumbledore's Phoenix in his teeth. Cross took the Phoenix and whistled, Blue and Grey drilled into Cross' bag as he teleported to the Room of Requirement.

Cross held the Phoenix and put his hand on it's head as he whispered "Ultimate Cleanse. Mind Rehabilitation." the Phoenix screeched and Cross slapped it before taking out the bell Ragnok gave him a long time ago.

Cross tied the bell around the Phoenix's neck and it trembled intensely before becoming obedient. Cross said coldly "You understand now? You're are in my hands, you'll never escape. You're name is Red now."

Red bowed his head down and trembled thinking Dumbledore was fucked for provoking this guy. He's crazy!

Cross grabbed Red's neck and jumped into his beast bag as he said "With the slave bell, even if you think of betraying me it will chime and attack your mind. Same if you try to contact anyone who isn't me. Try it if you want, but I must warn you..."

Cross' tone turned deadly as he said "You get three chances, whether the bell kills you on the third or not. I will definitely do it. There's a few others who wouldn't mind having chicken for a meal." Red trembled in fear and Cross threw him to the side, throwing an Atmospheric Charm on him.

The place Red landed turned into a flaming tree. Cross left the bag and carried on with his own business, brewing Veritas Serum.

Red looked around him and saw a rainforest, an Ice mountain, a rocky grotto, and a mountain range with a giant cave entrance in it. He trembled in ear at the 4 pairs of eyes glaring at him from each of the places. Red, Gold, Golden-Red with White speckles, and Silvery-Grey.

In particular, the Gold eyes looked hateful.

Red hid in the tree, feeling fear coming from his soul! What kind of monster did you provoke Albus?!

Cross kept meditating in the Room of Requirement, going to class when necessary, otherwise he would only be here.

Time passed and it was the last day before they left Hogwarts for summer break.

Cross was sitting in the Room of Requirement and meditating, a bit worried as Luna had yet to come out. He wanted to see his plans through to the end instead of outright killing him, that was too good for him.

Just when he was about to sleep, the Crystal started cracking.

Cross was excited and for the first time in months he smiled happily.

The cracks spread through the entire crystal and chunks of crystal fell off before turning into dust and slipping into the golden core in the middle. The entire crystal turned to dust and flew into the golden core.

The golden core started cracking, the cracks spread across the entire core before exploding out, revealing Luna's body. Cross stared at her, completely in a daze.

Luna's eyes fluttered open and the golden glow around her body dimmed as she floated floated to the ground, her perfect small porcelain toes touched the ground and the rest of her foot came after.

Her skin was snow white and smooth, her body grew taller and fuller, having perfect curves in every places. Her long golden hair waved down to her lower back and her face was incomparably beautiful. Her small nose, full cherry lips, and golden eyebrows and lashes, made Cross' heart beat faster.

More importantly than that was her changes. Her ears were long and pointy like Cross' and her eyes were pink, though her pupils had a slit in them with a horizontal black line going through the middle. They looked like crosses (+).

She stretched her body and cracking sounds exploded from every bone in her body, making her feel extremely relaxed. She looked in front of her to see Cross in a daze with tears running down his face, she smiled softly and said "Beautifu-"

Cross teleported to her and hugged her as he sobbed "Y-You're back!" Luna choked on her own words and her eyes started to water. She thought he was staring at her because she was so beautiful now, but it turns out..

She couldn't control herself and she cried tears of joy, hugging Cross tightly as she whispered "Yeah, I'm back..."

Cross kissed her lips softly before pulling back and laughing like a fool, completely over the moon. Luna looked at him lovingly, happy that she was so lucky to have him.

Luna said "Well? What do I look like?" Cross said immediately "It doesn't matter. You were always beautiful." Luna rolled her eyes and waved her hand, a water mirror appearing in front of her.

She gasped and looked at herself, she still looked like before but now she was much more beautiful, she couldn't put a finger on it though. She grabbed her breasts and said "So big!" before doing a spin and saying again "So big!"

She looked at Cross in shock at her own body, only to see him bleeding from his nose looking at her. She blushed and said shyly "You like it?" Cross pulled her waist and said seriously "I loved it before. Even if you become old and wrinkly I will still love you."

Luna cried again and said emotionally "I love you too! I thought I was never going to see you again!" Cross stroked her head and said "Shhh. It's okay now. I know.."

Luna cried for a while before calming down and snuggling into his embrace. Cross stroked her hair and hummed softly, Luna smiled happily and said "What happened while I was gone?" Cross explained his actions since then and Luna nodded as she said "Unfortunately committed suicide?"

Cross shrugged and said "Imperious Curse. Sorry, not sorry. She was under it when it started and she was under it when it ended. I couldn't care less, everyone involved with what happened to you will die. Simple as that."

Luna sighed and said "Well, can't do anything about it now, I suppose." Cross nodded and said "Exactly. Plus since she wasn't able to shake off the Imperious Curse then it would have happened again. The weak die, the strong live. Anyway, how do you feel?"

He looked her over, pressing on her body in all sorts of places, checking every inch of her body. Luna blushed at some places and saw the concern in Cross' eyes before making a small smile. He let out a breath of relief and smiled "You're all good inside."

Luna kissed him and her smile turned cold as she said "The Forbidden Ritual eh?" Cross' smile froze and sweat started pouring down his face, Luna chuckled coldly and said "If you hurt yourself again for me, the punishment from the Tree will be the last thing you need to worry about."

Cross started sweating buckets and Luna lost her cold look and giggled happily at his flustered and nervous look. The Room was filled with Luna's silver bell-like laughter.
