The train cart was filled with laughter as Ron and Hermione argued, while Cross and Luna sat by the side laughing at their exchanges.

A while later

The train stopped and everyone got off.

Cross left his cart late because... Well Luna was still there.. Anyway, he saw Draco walk past him, Cross looked at Draco and said "Haven't seen you in a while.." Draco stopped and forced a smile as he said "I.. I've been busy..." Cross patted his shoulder and said "Take care of yourself yeah? My sister still talks about you."

Draco had a painful expression on his face as he replied "Yeah..." he hesitated for a moment before saying "Tell her I'm sorry... I-" Cross smiled and said "I don't need to know your affairs, mate. I'll let her know." Draco made a small genuine smile and said sincerely "Thanks, Cross." before leaving.

Cross smiled and Luna held a circle, made with her fingers, over her eye as she said "Poor, Draco. He really does love her." Cross said "Yeah, well. He's doing some stuff and doesn't want her to get hurt. I can respect that."

Luna smiled and said sweetly "What a forgiving person!" Cross laughed out loud and shook his head before saying "Let's go get the boy who lived before he takes a midnight train to god knows where." Luna giggled and they went towards the direction Draco came from.

Cross waved his hand and Harry's invisibility cloak flew off, landing in Cross' hands. Luna snapped her fingers and Harry woke up, sitting up as he blinked his eyes and looked around.

Harry saw Cross and Luna and said "Oh hey." Cross laughed and pointed his wand at Harry saying "Episkey." Harry's broken nose fixed itself and Cross said "You should be more stealthy even if you do wear this. You're not invisible to everyone." as he handed Harry his cloak back, holding out his other hand to pull him up.

Harry smiled wryly and said "Yeah, I'll keep it in mind. Thanks." as he took the cloak and Cross' hand, pulling himself up. Luna chimed "You know.. you shouldn't sit in the floor.. The sneaky Piddlylumps will tickle your feet." Harry nodded and said "Yeah, never again."

Cross smiled softly and they left the train as Cross whispered into Luna's ear "I'll tickle your feet tonight, yeah?" Luna replied in Elven "And tie me up?" Cross grinned and answered "You're getting better at reading minds." Luna got excited and hugged Cross' arm as they got off the train and headed past the gates.

A small teacher said "Finally! I've been looking all over for you three! What are your names?" Cross said "I'm Ron Weasley." Luna said "I'm Hermione Granger." Harry said "I'm Harry.. Just Harry." the teacher grumbled and said "Alright, little pranksters, get inside."

Harry asked "Professor, who are they?" The teacher answered "Aurors. In charge of security."

Cross was check and Filtch said "What's in the bag, Cross?" Cross said "Beasts. How's Mrs. Norris?" Filtch smiled "Much better, thank you." Cross smiled and Filtch let him and Luna pass through, he did take a glance at Luna's ears a second time before shaking his head, kids nowadays.

A while later

Cross separated, reluctantly, from Luna, who looked as though her heart was going to explode from the separation. They both chuckled and sat at their tables. Cross sat in between Astoria and Daphne as he said "Hello, sisters!" they both rolled their eyes at him, Daphne teased "Choosing your girlfriend over your sisters?"

Astoria puffed out her cheeks angrily and crossed her arms over her flat chest. The loli was angry!

He went on and on and Daphne covered her face as she held back a hysterical laugh. Cross wrapped his arm around Astoria and hugged her with one arm as he continued "Tuck you in, read you bedtime stories, prepare your lunches, make sure you go to sleep on time..."

Astoria's face turned red from embarrassment, she pushed him away and said "You're embarrassing me!" Cross looked as though he was going to cry, he sniffed "My.. baby sister she... she doesn't love me anymore!" he whimpered and hid his face on Daphne adding "She hates me now!"

Daphne laughed wildly in her mind but sighed o the surface as she patted his back and said emotionally "They grow up so fast!" while shaking her head, as if it was a pity.

Astoria was embarrassed as he said "You two!" her face was as red as a tomato, Cross hugged her for real as he said "Silly little girl, I know you want these things. You can't fool me." Astoria was embarrassed but happy as she hugged back whispering "En."

Cross smiled softly and stroked her back lovingly, feeling a lot less angry than last year. Maybe something about the sex maybe him more calm?

Astoria purred and turned into a snow white fox by accident. Astoria gasped and Cross smiled as he stroked her fur from head to tail tip, Astoria calmed down and sat in his lap, purring.

Dumbledore started speaking, though he looked a little angry, "Very best of evenings to you all. First off, let me introduce the newest member of our staff, Horace Slughorn." The students clapped and Dumbledore continued "I'm pleased to announce that Professor Slughorn will be resuming his position as Potions Master. Meanwhile, the position of Defense Against the Dark Arts shall be take up by Professor Snape."

The students clapped and Cross shook his head saying "Welp. There goes Snape." Daphne spit out her drink and licked her lips in embarrassment, glaring at Cross.

Dumbledore started speaking after the applause "Now as you know, each and every one of you was searched upon your arrival tonight. And you all deserve to know why. Once there was a young man who, like you, sat in this hall, walked this castle and to all seemed to be a normal student like any other. His name? Tom riddle."

The students started whispering and Dumbledore continued "Today, of course, he's known all over the world by a different name. Which is why, as I stand looking out upon you all tonight, I'm reminded of a sobering fact. Every day, every hour, this very minute perhaps, Dark forces attempt to penetrate this castle's walls. But in the end, their greatest weapon is you... Just something to think about. Now off to bed."

Dumbledore scanned the crowd, looking at Harry and his eyes bursting into splendor, looking at Cross, who looked back with a slight smile and a kind nod. Dumbledore was confused but nodded with a smile in return.

Cross left the great hall and his expression turned into a sneer as he waited on the wall for Luna.

Luna showed up and skipped over to Cross, who grabbed his hand, sneaking into the bathroom before Teleporting to him room. Luna jumped on Cross, wrapping her legs around his waist and her arms around his neck.

Cross squeezed her ass and fell backwards onto the bed.

The next day

Cross was standing next to Hermione and said excitedly "I got this one in America! Look at the plot! It's insane!" Hermione red the back cover and said in shock "What!?" Cross nodded and said "I know right?!" Hermione coughed and said "Oh what's that?" as she pointed behind him, Cross sneered "Do I look like a child to you?"

Slughorn said "Funny you should ask Ms..." Hermione smiled and said "Granger." Cross was grinding his teeth on the side as Slughorn said "Yes. Ms. Granger, could you identify these potions?"

Harry and Ron burst into the room and Slughorn looked back as he said "Ah Harry! I was fearing you wouldn't come! You even brought someone with you, I see." Ron said "Ron Weasley, sir. And you see, I'm bloody awful at potions so I should really be go-"

Slughorn cut him off saying "Nonsense! Any friend of Harry is a friend of mine! Get your books out." Harry said "Sorry sir, we actually don't have books yet." Slughorn said "Oh! Not an issue, get one from the cupboard over there."

Harry and Ron nodded and Slughorn turned back, continuing "As I was saying, could you identify these potions Ms. Granger?" Hermione walked forward and said "That right there is Veritas Serum, the next one is Goofyboofy potion, and this one..."

Hermione paused and said "And this is Amortentia.. The most powerful love potion in the world. It's rumored to smell different for each person according to what attracts them. For example, I smell Fresh trees, a new book, and... blood.." she shook her head and stepped back.

Cross grumbled and stepped forward, sniffed, and walked back before whispering "I smell not Hermione, give me my book back!" Hermione spat out her tongue and shook her head, Slughorn said "Amortentia doesn't create actual love. That would be impossible. It does cause powerful infatuation or obsession, and for that reason, it is probably the most dangerous potion in this room."

A student named, Notta Partathaplot, asked "What's that Professor?" Slughorn said "Ahh yes. This is Felix Felicis. Or more commonly know as.." Hermione said "Liquid luck!" Slughorn nodded "Yes, Ms. Granger. Liquid luck! Desperately tricky to make, disastrous should you get it wrong. One sip and you should find that all of your endeavors succeed.. Well at least until the effects wear off."

Slughorn smiled and said "This is what I offer each of you today. One tiny vial of liquid luck to the student who manages to make an acceptable Draught of Living Death, within the hour that remains! Which is on page 10 of your books, though only one student managed to brew such a potion before. Anyway! Good luck!"

Cross followed Hermione and demanded his book back as he said "I can't go through the day without it! I'll be bored out of my mind don't you under stand?!" Hermione said "Only if you manage to get the Felix Felicis."

Cross rolled his eyes and said "I can make you a cauldron full of Felix Felicis! I just want my book back!" Hermione shook her head and said "Get the Felix Felicis." Cross grumbled and went to a potion station, he didn't even look at the book and waved his hands.

The ingredients flew towards him and he started moving his hands processing the ingredients flawlessly and throwing them in the cauldron.

After a few minutes

Cross slapped the side of the cauldron and it started swirling before bubbling while swirling. Cross said "3, 2, 1." He slapped the cauldron again saying "Noisy." the bubbles disappeared and a black steaming liquid remained.

Cross said "Done." Slughron jumped and said "Are you sure boy?" Cross plucked a hair from Ron's head and threw it in the cauldron, the hair burned up completely. Slughorn said "Good boy! This is beyond perfect! Amazing!"

Hermione grinded her teeth, she needed to take this book... It smelled like him, even if you beat her to death she wouldn't give it back. Cross said "Of course, Professor, you're talking to the king of potions!"

Draco coughed and chuckled from the back of the class, Slughorn laughed and said "Yes, well that remains to be seen doesn't it? Come, I'll give you the potion! Aha!" Cross grinned and Slughorn gave him the potion and Cross smiled, he sort of liked this goofy teacher.

Slughorn gave him the same feeling as Trelawney, who reminded him of Luna, so he instantly had good feelings for him.
