Endless Treasures
Cross looked at the water and crouched down, touching it. Nothing happened. Suddenly the Golden pool exploded into Golden mist under the pressure of Long Chen and Long Aotian's collision.
Cross was disgruntled and opened his palm, absorbing all the golden mist in the air and injecting it into the Inner World.
The Fight continued and Long Aotian smashed the ground, the 36 coffins under the golden water floated into the air. Invisible chains connected to the Tripod, Cross looked at the coffins and inspected them, he tapped on the invisible chains and felt a massive rebound force.
Suddenly, Cross was blasted into a wall.
He fell back to the ground and dusted himself off muttering "Fucking chains..." He walked over to Mo Nian and the rest before huddling around as he whispered "Mo Nian, you see those coffins?" Mo Nian nodded frantically and said "There's treasures in them!" Cross' eyes sparkled with greed as he said "Good. Let's steal them all!" Mo Nian grinned and they started planning as Long Chen fought.
They entered a coffin and saw a giant three eyed guy with a sword in his third eye, Cross and Mo Nian started collecting the treasures while Cross took the entire corpse directly. Xia Chen and the others absorbed the Chaos Qi in the Coffin and sealed the rest for later.
They went out and Long Aotian smashed into the coffin, separating it from the Tripod. Long Chen started fighting for real and the group quickly rushed to the next coffin. Xia Chen said "Can Long Chen really win?" Cross sneered "Don't worry, Colorful Supreme blood, Purple Blood, Supreme Bone, Supreme Roots... These are all just fart in front of my brother. Plus they belong to him anyway, he's just letting Long Aotian do all the work while he collects from the back."
Mo Nian gave him a thumbs up and said "Well said!" Cross scoffed "If he couldn't do this much, would he even be qualified to be my brother? Heh. I don't think so, plus look at Yue Xiaoqian. If I was Long Chen even if I have to destroy the world I wouldn't leave this woman behind."
Everybody looked at him and Cross was confused saying "What? How many things does she know? How many times has she helped here? She like a walking encyclopedia!" Yue Xiaoqian felt funny and puffed her cheeks saying "Is that all I am?!" Cross was stunned and said "Sister-in-law, please spare me. I meant you're very smart and pretty! En! If Long Chen dies I'll bring him back from Hell to apologize to you, okay?"
The group laughed as they ransacked the coffins one by one. Xia Chen and Guo Ran were in charge of sealing the Chaos Qi while Mo Nian and Cross were in charge of looting, while Yue Xiaoqian was the information queen, identifying everything.
they continued stealing as Long Chen fought with the Clown Thief. Cross had to say, this Long Aotian guy, his parents were better thieves then him! They stole talents! Cross wasn't at that level yet, maybe one day! For now, he could steal pretty much everything else as well as their lives, so technically he could steal talent? It was more like killing and then looting the corpse instead though.
Long Aotian's parents stole Long Chen's spirit root, bone, and blood without killing him when he was just a baby! This was God-level Thieving! He had to ask Long Aotian how they did it before he dies.
Suddenly, Long Chen made a big move and Long Aotian was sent flying back, puking mouthfuls of blood out. Cross' eyes lit up and he blended into the void, collecting the Purple blood and chuckling as he disappeared.
They went into a coffin and a giant explosion occurred. They went back outside to see the carnage, Cross looked at the Tripod and flashed, slapping Yin Changsheng away saying "Silly ghost boy, these things aren't for you to touch, okay?" Yin Changsheng growled "I'll ki-" Cross slapped him again saying "Yeah, yeah. I've heard it before, chump." as he stood in front of the Tripod.
He looked over and saw Long Aotian's armor was bit in half, he flashed and took the other half and the crown before going back to the Tripod and giving the world a happy grin.
Suddenly, the coffins opened and beasts came out, Long Chen shouted "Get to the tripod!" The group rushed into the light curtain of the Tripod and Long Chen started leaving a soul mark on the tripod.
A cage surrounded all the creatures and the group along with the tripod as the others escaped. The beasts rushed to the Tripod but they exploded as the old man opened his eyes and said "Hiro, is that you?" a woman with a long sword trembled and said "Xingyu!"
The old man held the woman's hand with endless love and said "I'm so sorry, Hiro." The woman started crying and hugged the old man. The old man said "Little brother, thank you so much." he dug out his eyeball and it turned into a crystal as he said "I have one last favor to ask of you. Please pass on my 6 heavenly eye pupil skills. I don't want the inheritance to end with me."
Long Chen held the crystal in shock and nodded dumbly. The old man's other eyes lit up and the world trembled, the cage surrounding the group and the tripod suddenly exploded to pieces! The beasts all fell to the ground dead and the old man and the woman disappeared together, reincarnating together forever.
(So beautiful actually, this fucking old man is who knows how old and his spirit lived on just so he could reincarnate with his wife. Fuck! I'm actually crying.)
Cross slapped the void and Ji Wuming was blasted into a wall, Cross sneered and said "Fuck you, gigolo boy." Jiuyou Luosha, Yun Changsheng, Ji Wuming, and Long Aotian all left, leaving hateful words of revenge. Cross rolled his eyes at them and slapped Long Chen's back, injecting spirit into him so he can get the tripod.
Then he moved the corpses he took into the black soil and Long Chen began to heal, not only that, endless lifeforce was produced. The lower part of the Golden Tree was growing with the fakes, Cross chopped off some branches and plants them as well, soon his had a forest of gold.
One of the corpses was missing and Cross cursed "That fucking cockroach! Why won't he just die!? Fuck! So annoying! Next time I'll pull out his soul and double check before turning his body into meat paste! Let's see if he'll come back again!"
He was understandably pissed, these idiots just spawn again and again, like mobs! It's unreal! He went to the Taiyin tree on the other side of the Skyline, passing it without a problem, before collecting the Tree and cleaning up all the corpses and loots on the ground.
Cross returned to the group and cut up the tree, planting the Taiyin Trees with the Fusang Trees before dumping all the corpses into the black soil. The golden liquid had infected the water and turned it golden in the entire Inner World. Cross drank from water and said "Aiyo! That's amazing!" The water was filled with endless Chaos Qi!
Cross arrived outside and said seriously "Guo Ran, Xia Chen. You're in charge of my girls." as Yuanyuan, Lily, and Artemis came out of the Inner World. Cross said "There's endless opportunities outside, go find them. Maybe you can even find your mothers."
Lily said "What about you?" Cross said "I have somewhere else to go." Mo Nian pulled the girls saying "Come, come, Uncle Mo will take you grave rob- I mean History finding." The 6 left, Yue Xiaoqian left reluctantly and Long Chen and Cross were left in the Tomb.
Cross said "Get inside my Inner World for a moment." Long Chen disappeared and Cross opened his hands, black blob-like Qi appearing in his palms.
He slammed down on the ground and everything started disintegrating. The Celestial Tomb was a separate World space from the 3000 Worlds Realm. Cross was absorbing the entire World Space, keeping the treasures and discarding the actual geology and building.
The coffins were also collected for later forging. The Entire Celestial Tomb was gone and Cross flew out to the 3000 Worlds, knowing full well was what going to happen to that space now. He whipped a blackhole into a long chain with a ball at the end. The void was filled with Chaos Qi, repairing the empty space.
The ball absorbed a ton of Chaos Qi, injecting it into the Inner World and enriching everything. The Celestial Tomb world was sprinkled onto his Inner World, giving it a trace of Chaos aura. If Cross wanted the Inner World to produce Chaos Qi on it's own, that would be a pretty large task, but Cross had a plan. A crazy plan.
The space healed and Cross pulled back the chain, sucking it into his body before letting Long Chen out. Long Chen sucked in a cold breath of air, looking at Cross as he said "That place is crazy!" Cross was expressionless again as he said "I know. The Taiyin and Fusang trees made a forest together did you see it?"
Long Chen nodded and said "Do you find it weird that the life energy from the corpses seem to double for both our worlds?" Cross replied "No. There's a strange connection between us..." he looked at Long Chen deeply, remembering the scene from the space gate. That was a big secret. He added "We go half-half on Corpses but really we get the full amount each because it cycles between us."
Long Chen said "Ohhh!" then they flew away, Cross and Long Chen found out that they could only plant 3000 of each Taiyin and Fusang Trees. The Dragon guy said it had something to do with the Laws of the World. Cross snorted in disdain for the laws and they came to a desolate place.
Suddenly, they saw Luo Zichuan! He instructed them to follow a path and they arrived in front of him through the space turbulence. Cross said nothing, but Long Chen was excited to see his grandfather.
Long Chen started to recover himself and Cross just looked at Luo Zichuan without any expressions. Luo Zichuan said "You're much more stable than before." Cross said simply "I know." Luo Zichuan shook his head and forgot about him, this kid hated his guts.
The next day
The trio entered a purple space gate and Long Chen and Cross saw the endless Ancient Demon corpses on the ground. These were all killed by Luo Zichuan! Long Chen and Cross were startled and looked at Luo Zichuan, who smirked slightly.
The trio walked through and Long Chen and Cross shared half the corpses. They got the full effects of each of them and basically doubled the power so it was truly a win-win here. They came to a round seal after all the corpses were collected and Luo Zichuan said "The seal had 18 Double Supreme Demons that attack in an array. I'll take 17, all you have to do is kill one."
The array lit up and 18 lights came crashing down, Luo Zichuan blocked 17 and Long Chen slashed down, focusing hard. He smashed the beast's head and Cross followed up with a wavy scythe slash at the Beast's neck, severing it's head right off.
Long Chen came around and stabbed into the beast core, shattering it. Luo Zichuan slashed another beast and killed it as there were 16 left. The three started attacking, a while later all the beasts were killed and Luo Zichuan slapped his palm on the gate before being blown away.
Long Chen was shocked and said "What happened?!" Cross said flatly "Blood not pure enough." Luo Zichuan said "He's right." Long Chen suddenly said "I have a way! How long can you stay here for?" Luo Zichuan said "3 months before the place collapses." Long Chen said "Easy, don't worry about it, I'll be back!"
Long Chen and Cross collected the corpses and left the space, blasting off into the sky in the direction that the Dragon guy was giving them. They flew into a dragon region, there were countless dragons here and Long Chen and Cross ignored them flying further into the depths.
They came across a golden dragon corpse and Cross stole the corpse entirely, before they moved on.
they saw a giant floating scale made of gold and a golden chain shot out of Long Chen's body, attaching to the Dragon Scale. Cross looked around was was immediately depressed, the Dragon roared in his head "Idiot! Look down!"
Cross looked down and his eyes widened!
