53 Chamber of Gossip

A few days later

Cross was listening to Luna retell his drunk escapades for the 5th time and laughing. He scratched his neck and said "You know, I have a pretty good idea of what happened now..." Luna smirked and said "Do you want to know more things?" Cross shook his head and sighed "I'd rather not..." In fact he remembered everything, he only asked what happened once when he woke up in a moment of confusion and then Luna let the floodgates loose.

He kinda sorta wanted to punch her in the face then kiss her but he held back because he was a good boy.

Cross read his book as Luna went on and on, somehow getting into a story where they went to space and hunted aliens. She finished after a while saying "Man, you should've been there." Cross gave her a funny look and said "Aliens?" Luna nodded as if to say 'Of course!'

Cross laughed and tackled her, kissing all over her face over and over again. Luna giggled and said "Ah! An attack!" Cross chuckled and pinched the tips of her ears, rubbing and pulling lightly.

Luna moaned and a wild look took over as she said "Really?" Cross grinned and said "Right now." as they both disappeared from where they were sitting.

Luna landed back first on the bed and Cross ripped her clothes right off in one pull. Luna blushed with an excited look in her eyes as Cross pulled her waist towards him roughly.

Moans soon followed

The next night

Cross and Luna were sitting at a table with Slughorn, Harry, Hermione and a bunch of other students. Namely Unname Dkid, Wurth Less, Whoo Kares, and Bystan Durray.

Slughorn looked around happily and said "So, Ms. Granger. What exactly do your parents do in the Muggle world?" Cross ate his ice cream and looked over saying "Do they solve crimes?!" Luna giggled and ate her ice cream.

Hermione said "My parents are dentists." Cross sighed and Slughorn asked "And is that a Dangerous occupation?" Hermione shook her head and replied "No, sir... Although one boy did bite my father, he needed 10 stitches!"

The table was silent and Slughorn said "Ah.. I see..." Hermione looked awkward and Cross chuckled as he mumbled hatefully "That's what happens when you spoil my book..." Luna choked on her ice cream and laughed.

Cross smiled and went back to eating, Luna kneed his leg and grabbed his hand, turning it over as she wrote 'That kid from Gryffindor is looking at me... The bull rider.' Cross snapped his head up and looked at the kid licking his fingers and staring at Luna with a lustful expression.

Luna sighed and decided to order this boy a tomb stone now...

Cross twitched his fingers and the bull rider's clothes flashed before slowing falling apart with out him even realizing it as he sat there completely nude. Slughorn was talking with another student when he saw Bull Rider's nude appearance, he was stunned and said "My word Cormac, this isn't that kind of dinner party. What are you doing boy?"

Bull boy was confused and said "What do you mean, Professor?" as his shredded clothes turned to ashes and disappeared, Slughorn replied "Boy, you're completely nude! You think this is funny?"

Bully the Rider stood up in shock, bad move. His little willy was exposed to the air, Cross covered Luna's eyes and almost vomited as he said "Honestly, man... Don't you take care of yourself?" as a flash from a camera went off.

Cross twitched his fingers and the camera flew back into his storage bag secretly.

The boy with a father who made the Wolf's bane potion, which seemed to be his only character trait, laughed and said "Even if it was that kind of party, you showed up with a knob of that size? Perhaps for pixies that would satisfy.."

Cross gave that kid that rode on his dad's success a crisp high five, that was spectacular! He decided to rename this kid 'Funny guy'.

The bull rider was so embarrassed, he couldn't even speak as he ran out of the room, covering his willy with his hands, Funny Guy shouted "Mate, you don't need two hands to cover that up!" Cross burst out laughing and Slughorn said "Yes, well.. You can take a wild guess at who will not be joining us next time. I think that's enough for one night, it's been a pleasure. Unfortunately, Mr. Cormac soured the mood."

Cross smiled and said graciously "It's okay Professor, these kinds of people can even take care of themselves, how could they be aware enough to be mindful of others?" Slughorn laughed and said "Well said! Well said indeed! Alright, until next time!"

Cross left with Luna, Hermione followed him, the rest left with the exception of Harry.

Cross, Luna, and Hermione were walking down the halls, a note pad and quill flew out of Cross' bag as he started speaking "Cormac McLaggen makes a scene at the prestigious Slug Club! Sources say that McLaggen ripped his clothes off after dessert, becoming completely nude, as he said 'Who's first?' The student I received my information from was truly scarred from the incident and has this to say 'It was horrifying! His gaze pierced through my clothes, I felt as though he was a hungry wolf in a flock of sheep! His willy was small but menacing! I was terrified for my innocence! Thankfully Professor Slughorn was there, otherwise things might have taken a dangerous turn!'"

Cross continued talking as Hermione's eyes widened and she said "What?" Cross continued, ignoring her, while Luna smiled as she said "You see, Cross is a very petty person..." Hermione was dumbfounded and Luna added "The last person who looked at me was hung by their underwear on the castle walls... Truly not a good option as the Restlehumps can easily get into your underwear and cause a ruckus."

Hermione was speechless now.

Cross finished his article and the camera flew out, printing a picture. He snapped his fingers and closed his eyes as he listened to the conversations around the castle, slowly a newspaper started forming called 'Chamber of Gossip'.

The front page was Cormac's naked self with a big title in bold 'Slug Club Scandal! Cormac McLaggen makes a scene!' along with an entire page of words describing the event with interviews. It was protecting Professor Slughorn's Slug Club heavily, basically demonizing Cormac as a savage beast.

There was even 'Luna's Magical Beast Corner'. The first print will feature Nargles!

Cross waved his hand and the newspaper multiplied endlessly, before disappearing to everywhere the Daily Prophet was placed. Tomorrow was the official debut of Cross school newspaper!

Hermione couldn't say anything and Cross smiled happily as he said "I wonder how much chaos this will cause?" Luna giggled and shook her head, Hermione threw her hands up and said "You ruined that boy!"

Cross scoffed and retorted "So? He should keep his lustful expressions to himself. Who gave him the gall to look at my woman like that?" Hermione said incredulously "You're doing this because of a look!? Do you know how many people look at Luna?!"

Cross corrected "Most of those are admiration and awe, not lust. I have a very good memory, every single one of them who looked at her with lust will get their dues. They're lucky I'm a nice person." Hermione said incredulously "You're a nice person!?" Cross nodded and said "I could kill them, so this is nothing."

Hermione couldn't argue with that kind of logic, between dying and being humiliated, humiliation was the better option. The only thing she could think was 'Scary.' but strangely enough, instead of being scared, she was instead envious and jealous. Shooting Luna a glare before stomping off, huffing and puffing, burning with jealously on the inside. Why couldn't Cross do that for her too?!

The next morning

Cross was reading the Daily Prophet at breakfast, while the rest of the students were enthralled by the new and mysterious newspaper 'Chamber of Gossip'. Chaos exploded in the school as most of the articles had very personal conversations and scandals. Though the number one topic was Cormac's big scene.

The kid Cross named 'Funny Guy' was thriving at the moment, retelling the events with even more embellishment than the actual newspaper as he said "There I was, yeah? Telling about how me dad's potions aren't too far from mine, when the lad strips! Knob to the air!"

Cross smiled as he read the Daily Prophet, ignoring the uproar at the school. Luna was next to him reading the Chamber of Gossip and said happily "My corner is so good!" Cross smiled softly and said "You think I wasn't listening when you talked about Nargles?" Luna felt her lips quiver and she looked at him saying "I love you~"

Cross kissed her quivering lips before going back to breakfast. Luna pouted her lips cutely, she was wearing a giant lion head and her little face was so cute, Cross kissed her again! What a hero!

Luna giggled dumbly and was over the moon with an absent look in her eyes, thinking about something else entirely.

Harry and Hermione put down the newspaper and Harry said "Amazing newspaper." Hermione rolled her eyes, though she had to admit, it was very good. It's just the content was too much, they were all really private things.

There was even a column with Moaning Myrtle, where she wrote spicy stories, unsuitable for children.

Hermione looked at Cross and said "You didn't put your name?" Cross said "I don't know what you're talking about. Also, can you relax? Everybody loves spicy gossip, look!" as he pointed to a Ravenclaw girl reading the paper without looking away, stabbing a fork at her food but missing, she didn't notice and put the fork in her mouth anyway.

Harry chuckled and Cross smiled, waving his hand as the food flew to her fork, the girl didn't even notice and ate it.

Cross shrugged and said "What can I say? I'm just perfect." Luna rolled her eyes and nibbled on a bagel, reading the Moaning Myrtle column.

Cross chuckled and turned his head to see Draco sitting alone at a table. Cross frowned and said "Love, do it." Luna didn't hesitate or make a joke and followed his orders, making a circle with his fingers and touching her other hand to Cross' head as she looked at Draco.

Cross listened and felt Draco debating over his head back and forth on what to do. The Dark Lord ordered him do it but he didn't want to, but he felt like if he didn't he would die.

Cross had to say, Draco's thoughts were too vague. Can't he just think about what he's meant to do?

Draco left the great hall and Luna broke her fingers apart, taking back her hand. Cross frowned and mumbled "What is it..." Luna pulled on his sleeve saying "Not here." Cross agreed and went back to eating as Ron sat down.

He looked super nervous and Harry offered him a drink, Luna suddenly said "Is that why you put something in his drink?" Harry hid the vial of Felix Felicis in his hand, putting it in his pocket as Hermioen said "Liquid luck!? You can get expelled!"

Harry said "I don't know what you're talking about." Ron drank the drink and got all giddy as he said "Let's go Harry! We got a game to win!" before leaving the great hall with big steps, Harry followed after him, while the other three watched them go.

Hermione said "Honestly!" Cross shrugged and said "You were the only reason that worked." Luna giggled and said "Placebo's sure are powerful." Hermione said incredulously "He didn't put anything inside?!" Cross and Luna shook their heads at the same time and Hermione slapped her forehead.

Cross quipped "You know, you get dumber as the years pass. I think Weasley's rubbing off on you." Hermione threw a spoon at him and said "Shut up! I'll leak your 'anonymous' publisher status!" Cross sighed and said with a sorrowful expression "First my book, now my identity, what's next?"

Luna patted his back and said sadly "Maybe she'll take your money next..." as she fake sniffed, Hermione gasped and said "Y-Y-You t-two!" Cross and Luna snickered and Hermione stomped away angrily.

Cross and Luna looked at each other and smirked before high fiving each other and giggling.
