GRADE-5 WEAPON

Cohan released his Inner Soul. He knew that, at this juncture the words are useless. He was well aware that among all these people from the Star Moon Team, Rick was one of the three people who could use the Dao. Even though there were more people with the Dao now, he was well aware that Rick was definitely not a recent member to join the club of Dao Masters.

Cohan became serious. He knew that Rick is someone who should not be underestimated despite if he lacked the battle experience or not. He knew that this sect had lost enough face thanks to these people. And he had to do whatever it takes to regain their past glory.

"I don't care whether you treat me as a training tool or whatever it is. But I know one thing for sure. And that is you people have caused enough trouble for our sect to lose its face. And today I will do whatever it takes to destroy all of you and regain my sect's lost prestige." ,Cohan said seriously.

"Yes. Yes. Whatever." ,Rick simply mocked back and didn't take Cohan's threat seriously. He said, "Well, do your worst."

Cohan was not at all bothered with his reply. He took out a long black whip from his possession. Rick immediately narrowed his eyes as soon as he looked at that black whip.

It was nothing wrong with the appearance of the whip. It looked pretty much ordinary. But the Aura it generated was something to be wary about. With one glance, Rick could tell that it was a Grade-5 treasure.

"A Grade-5 treasure?" ,Rick asked.

"Heh! Are you afraid now? That's right. It is a Grade-5 Treasure. I think a barbarian like you had never seen a Grade-5 treasure before, right? Behold it's true might today for yourselves."

All the accessories were divided in qualities into nine grades starting from Grade-1 to Grade-9. Grade-1 is the lowest ranked while the Grade-9 is the strongest.

The Lifestyle Masters were divided into nine levels as well. Beginners Level, Amateur Level, Basic Level, Elementary Level, Entry Level, Professional Level, Advanced Level, Master Level, Grandmaster Level and Transcendent Level.

Each grade defines the quality of the accessory. If we take weapons as example, There could be nine types of weapons. And just as how one recognise a Lifestyle Master, the weapons also have different levels with similar names.

They are Beginners Level, Amateur Level, Basic Level, Elementary Level, Entry Level, Professional Level, Advanced Level, Master Level, Grandmaster Level and Transcendent Level weapons.

But the quality of each level of weapon is further divided into nine grades starting from Grade-1 to Grade-9.

First four grades, that is Grade-1 to Grade-4 weapons increases strength. The strength generated by the weapons varies with each increase in grade.

The first four grades of a weapon will consume the energy from the user like Inner Soul, Inner Will, Divine Energy or Soul Energy and releases the output depending on the grade of the weapon.

But the only drawback is that, the higher the grade of the weapon, the higher energy of the user it will drain. So, despite it's higher damage output, people find it annoying to use Grade-4 weapon compared to Grade-3, Grade-2 and Grade-1 weapons.

But Grade-5 weapons covered this drawback. The first four grade weapons will use the energy of the users to produce damage output. But when a weapon reached Grade-5, it will use the Spiritual Energy of the Heaven and Earth instead of draining the Spiritual Energy of the user.

Of course, how much energy the sword can draw from the Spiritual Energy of the Heaven and Earth will also depend on the capacity of the user. The sword will still drain the energy of the user to gather the Spiritual Energy of the Heaven and Earth.

But the major advantage with the Grade-5 weapon is that, the weapon will consume very less Soul Energy of the user to gather three times Spiritual Energy of the Heaven and Earth.

Cohan's Black Whip is a Grade-5 Weapon. That means, he will spend very little Soul Energy to gather three times Spiritual Energy of the Heaven and Earth. Rick found that Cohan's weapon will a little troublesome. But only a little troublesome. He had complete confidence that he will defeat his opponent.

Cohan didn't waste his time as he lashed out with his whip. As he was moving his whip, everyone could feel that the black whip was actually gathering the Spiritual Energy of the Heaven and Earth on a large amount. At the sale time, he could sense that amount of Soul Energy the Black Whip drained from Cohan is very low.

Majority of the people had never seen the Grade-5 weapon in their lives before. This was the first time they were witnessing. After all, the weapon whose rank surpassed Grade-5 or above were very rarely produced.

The truth is, if a weapon whose quality reached Grade-5 or above, then most of the time, it will end up in the hands of the rich and powerful mighty sects. So for ordinary people it is out of their reach to possess the Grade-5 or above quality weapons.

So when they looked at theGrade-5 weapon which was under operation they were stunned for a bit. When they saw that it was actually gathering the Spiritual Energy of Heaven and Earth, greed took place within their hearts.

But no one took any action. They knew that Cohan is actually one of the higher ranking disciple from the mighty Raven Sect. If they did something funny, then wouldn't it be a suicidal attempt?

Cohan motioned his black whip as it gathered enough energy to make it's attack. A beautiful radiant light coiled around the whip which gave everyone a sense of danger.

As Cohan made his move, the black whip smashed itself towards Rick almost instantly. The momentum of the black whip was immensely strong as it gushed towards Rick.

As the Black Whip lashed towards Rick, the coiled radiance of the light on the black whip pierced through even the wind. The powered up Whip went forward as it quickly gushed towards Rick.

The mighty power of the Whip was clearly felt by Rick more than anyone else. As the whip was about to pierce through his skin, Rick easily dodged to his right. As for the whip which was missed it's initial target Rick, it instead whipped the air.

BOOM!

A small explosion took place in the place where Rick previously stood. This explosion was not a large one like those Atom bombs. But it was enough to turn a person into mincemeat.

When the people saw this, they were terrified. Most of them only heard the legends about the Grade-5 and above weapons. And only the minority of them saw it.

But no matter who it was, everyone were shocked to see what a Grade-5 weapon could do for the first time. And they were actually stunned.
