24 Scene 23 : Noble Kids

Lilian headed to the capital the next day directly from the Academy. She and four other people were on the carriage provided by division one.

The carriage was twice bigger than the usual size, steadily crossed the busy city streets.

Before leaving, Lilian had to wait quite a while because these noble children started acting. They refused to ride an ordinary carriage and ask for a special one. Lilian almost remembered all their arrogant words to the driver who picked them up.

"You expect us to ride this ordinary carriage? This noble???"

"You think we are a commoner, do you?"

"Don't you know who we are? I will call my parents and make sure you accept the consequences!"

The first carriage provided by the first division was just an ordinary black carriage, with no interior or magic stones that kept the inside of the carriage from shaking.

For a short distance, the carriage was not too bad for Lilian though it was uncomfortable. That's better than they have to walk.

But the noble kids continued to bother the coachman and told him to take another carriage.

Lilian didn't know how Division One could tolerate this and send a much better one. Lilian was grateful that the carriage was replaced, but still, she felt like wasting time. She wanted to meet Arthur as soon as possible.

Being the only woman there, Lilian sat herself at the deepest part of the carriage. Lilian busied herself looking out the window so that no one would ask her to speak.

However, that didn't seem to work.

"Now we are all one level as interns. So I don't think we need to speak respectfully right, Lilian?"

Lilian glanced at him. The man who from the beginning was busy bragging his Count status now wants to be at same level, is he kidding?

To be honest, Lilian was too tired of all the ethics and attitudes she had to look after, but when the one who put forward was the boy who made her stand waiting for a long time in front of the academy, Lilian snorted inwardly.

"Who are you?" Lilian gazed at the three people in front of her in turns, her eyes saying she didn't know them all.

The Count looked towards one side, his face flushed red.

"Don't you know us?"

This time the one sitting in the middle opened his mouth.

"Do I have to know?" Lilian asked nonchalantly and stared back at the view outside the window.

"Hey, as a Duke's daughter, aren't you too rude?"

Lilian laughed. "Rude? You know I'm a Duke's daughter, shouldn't you be polite and introduce yourself first?"

"Alright, alright, we are all friends in this period." The boy sitting far away from Lilian clasped his hands, trying to lift the heavy atmosphere that suddenly fell.

"Let me Introduce myself first, I'm Stephen from the house of Marquess Quinzt. This gentlement is Howard from Duke Hunt's house ...," he pointed to the boy in the middle,

"... and this is Richard from Count Baker's house." Stephen, who was sitting at the end, pointed to the person sitting in front of Lilian, introducing two people beside him alternately.

Lilian looked at them one by one. Gentlement? She felt like laughing in front of them.

What kind of gentlement who ignore women and put forward their egos?

If she is In Ha now, no one would leave her exposed to the sun's heat and stand alone. The people beside her would be busy find her a place to seat and fanning her or just accompany and talking to her.

Ahh she missed that treatment.

If Lilian knew that, she would go to Capital on her own carriage without having to be in one place with these people.

Lilian sighed.

Lilian had been unable to count the number of times she had sighed lately.

Why does she always deal with supporting characters she doesn't know? Is it not enough that she has improvised since getting out of the plot?

For a moment, she was stunned. She realized there was one person who had been sitting quietly next to her without making a sound.

Even from the start when there were childish protests from the aristocrats before. That made her curious.

Lilian scrutinized him.

The boy didn't look bad. She could say this boy was actually included in the handsome ranks. Although not as handsome as her brother.

Stephen who followed Lilian's perspective cleared his throat.

"Sir Lloyd from Duke Abbott's house, Milady."

Despite the fact Lloyd was introduced without his permission, he didn't seem to care.

'Oh so he's from the Duke family? What a surprise! There are three duke descendents gathered here.'

Seemed like Lilian hadn't read their characters around her. She also just found out the status of their nobles who passed this test.

Saint Amora was indeed the best academy in the whole of the empire, no wonder all the descendants of important figures were study there.

Abbott and Hunt were Duke's house that located far at the end north and east.

"Lilian Lesnerg." Lilian added inwardly, 'I hope we don't get in touch further in the future.'

She wasn't care if her tone saying her name sounded super arrogant. Lilian didn't want to try to be close to anyone other than Arthur, There was something more urgent than making small talk with these people.

Just seeing them from before was annoying, what would happen in the future if she got entangled with these people?

"Pftt ..."

The four people on the carriage, including Lilian, turned toward the sound.

Lloyd was seen laughing.

'Huh? Is there something funny?'

The three people in front of Lilian exchanged glance as if asking the same thing. They looked close enough to read each other mind.

They were all actually at the same level in the academy, but in different majors.

Only certain people know each other or just prominent people being known.

Lilian saw the names of the four of them plastered on the announcement, unfortunately she did not know who they were.

"Why are you laughing?" Among the three of them, Stephen voiced his question.

Lloyd raised his head. "I heard a funny rumor, so I laughed." He just said that, with no intention of continuing.

But Stephen did not back down. Lilian saw his face smile but not his eyes.

"Do you want to share with us what you hear?"
