Chapter 11 - Physical Strength

~ Outside The Village Chief's House ~

( Karl's POV )

K: "𝘸-𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘪-𝘪𝘴 𝘩𝘢-𝘩𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘦𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨? 𝘵𝘩-𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘪𝘴 𝘥-𝘥𝘪𝘧𝘧𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘵"

*screams* *kya!!* *help!!*

VC: "𝘒𝘢𝘳𝘭!! 𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘬 𝘰𝘶𝘵!!"

K: "𝘩𝘶𝘩?"

( End of POV )

VC: "𝘒𝘢𝘳𝘭!! 𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘬 𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘣𝘦𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶!!"

K: "𝘩𝘶𝘩?"

VC: "𝘴𝘩*𝘵, 𝘍𝘪𝘳𝘦 𝘚𝘬𝘪𝘭𝘭: 𝘉𝘭𝘢𝘻𝘦 𝘒𝘪𝘤𝘬"

All of a sudden, the right foot of the Village Chief has been covered with fire, he run immediately towards the bandit, and then he jump as he whirl his whole body to stroke his right foot into his opponent. Afterward, he was able to hit, making the enemy stunned from his kick. Luckily Karl quickly manage to get away from the battle as he might be drag by the flaming kick of his Village Chief.

Karl was surprised to think the Village Chief has a magic affinity and knows how to regulate energy. Karl was still calming himself as this is his first time experiencing a real yet dangerous battle despite his age. Now that the bandit who was pointing his blade to Karl was gone, the Village Chief quickly approached and hug him, he said to him while he was hugging Karl.

VC: "𝘒𝘢𝘳𝘭!! 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘰𝘬𝘢𝘺? 𝘬𝘦𝘦𝘱 𝘪𝘵 𝘵𝘰𝘨𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘒𝘢𝘳𝘭 *huff* 𝘪 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘨𝘰 𝘵𝘰 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘮𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘴𝘰 𝘨𝘰 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘴𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘰 𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘣𝘢𝘴𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵, 𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘬𝘦𝘺 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘴𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘪𝘵'𝘴 𝘤𝘭𝘰𝘴𝘦𝘥" *huff*

Karl was angry, they always treated Karl as if he was a spoiled child. Karl was already 24 years old on the inside and he hates that he is protected by everyone instead of protecting them. Karl has no choice left, he didn't want to leave her little sister alone. He agreed to Village Chief as the Village Chief soon smiled at Karl. Karl felt sad and frustrated looking at the Village Chief's smile, it was as if he was going to be dead. They both bid farewell and then the Village Chief ran to help the villagers who were fighting the bandits while Karl went back to the Village Chief's house to wake his sister.

After he arrived hurriedly, Karl was shocked as he look the library without his little sister. He panic that his little sister was missing, nowhere to be found in the library. Karl thought that she might be taken by the bandits, and another is that, it was impossible because they weren't able to reach here yet, except earlier. Karl keeps thinking about what would he do with that thought in his mind. Meanwhile, his little sister was walking back her way into the library. Soon when she saw her big brother sitting alone so she suddenly thinks of a plan to scare him. Later, after her final decision, she sneaks quietly as she looked at his big brother.

Soon when she arrived at his back, she unexpectedly shouted "𝘣𝘰𝘰" to his big brother. Vivianne was confused about his big brother. He was quiet and didn't moved a little bit as she shout earlier. Later, Vivianne suddenly face his big brother, and then she saw his big brother's face how worried yet creepy her big brother was. Her face became broke as she gasps from fear. Vivianne was startled as he look at his big brother, she felt uncomfortable towards him and it creeps her out. She doesn't know what happened to his big brother, and it was as if her big brother was another person, she said to him while she stutters from fear.

V: "𝘣-𝘣𝘪𝘨 𝘣𝘳𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘺𝘰-𝘺𝘰𝘶'𝘳𝘦 𝘴𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘦"

Karl snapped back to himself the moment he heard Vivianne's voice, he spaced out for a moment. He realized and suddenly look at his little sister and he sighs with relief. Karl immediately hug his little sister so tight, he said.

K: "𝘝𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘢𝘯𝘯𝘦!! 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘣𝘦𝘦𝘯!?....𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘥𝘪𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘥𝘰!?....𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘰𝘬!?"

V: "𝘣𝘳𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳....𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘩𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘥"

K: "𝘴-𝘴𝘰𝘳𝘳𝘺, 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦'𝘴 𝘯𝘰 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘦𝘹𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘪𝘯, 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘮𝘦 𝘭𝘦𝘵'𝘴 𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘣𝘢𝘴𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵"

V: "𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘸𝘦 𝘨𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘥𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦?"

K: "𝘪'𝘭𝘭 𝘦𝘹𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘪𝘯 𝘪𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘳, 𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘩𝘶𝘳𝘳𝘺"

V: "𝘪𝘴 𝘪𝘵 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘪𝘮𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘵?"

Karl carried his little sister to his back and later, he ran quickly to find the basement. After they found it, the basement was full of old stuff covered with cobwebs as well as the ceiling. Karl thought that it was good enough to hide his sister in the basement, there were candles placed everywhere that are good enough to keep the whole room light, and the bed. Although the bed was kinda old and ruined, Karl didn't care and still continued. Karl asked Vivianne if she could wait here a bit longer because he was going to make a surprise for her.

However Vivianne was scared and a bit stubborn, it took Karl an hour to take his best to convince his little sister. Finally, Vivianne was able to agree with his big brother. Soon, Karl pushed the wooden crate outside the basement but before Karl locked the door, he first bid farewell to his little sister and said to her that he will be back. Karl returned the wooden crate outside the door to keep the door locked and to ensure if ever Vivianne tried to leave at her place.

Afterwards, Later that Karl immediately went outside to go to his relatives and planned to save the villagers as many as he could. Karl followed what his Village Chiefs said, but he only let Vivianne hide. Karl was afraid that his little sister might involve in a middle of a bandit raid, especially she doesn't know how to fight or defend herself. Karl has now secured his sister at the Village Chief's basement. Karl was still worried if the bandits will ravage and try to get inside every house. However, suddenly something came up in his mind. Karl was glad that they were busy fighting the villager's men and they were far from the Village Chief's house. Karl thought that it could save him enough time. Only his mother and Hans are now endangered.

Without for a second thought revealing the ace up his sleeve, Karl finally used his unique ability to summon an MG 45 or also known as the MG 42V. It was a machine gun that was developed but not fielded in significant numbers by the German Army in World War II with a firing rate of 1,800 rounds per minute. Karl thought, summoning different kinds of weapons from his ability at a time is okay. However, Karl remembered what did the Guide told him back then. The only problem for him is that he can only once summon 2 buckets of bullets with a cooldown of 2 days, which is very bothersome to him. With that thought in his mind, Karl ignored it and straightly proceeds with his plan.

Although it was heavy, Karl was now ready to fire the MG 45 he was holding. Karl was now heading his way to the battlefield and he noticed a lot of bandits from afar intruding a house. The rest of the bandits saw Karl from afar carrying something, the others who were outside told the others someone is approaching. Later when they were alarmed, all of them readied and soon began to charge towards him. When Karl saw them approaching nearer, he carefully aim at the bandits who were charging at him and then *Bang* a rhythmic series of loud and intense gunshots can be heard inside the Village.

In a wink of an eye, blood flowed out in their bodies and heads, making all of them died in an instant. The bandits and the villagers who were fighting saw Karl with his weapon, they were stunned in a moment, their eyes went round as their jaws dropped and their faces were coated with fear and happiness as they witnessed a terrifying yet dangerous weapon that can shatter their pride. Karl was also surprised, he knows how to use any gun with the help of his knowledge back there on earth but it was his first time using an actual gun and more importantly, it was a world war 2 machine gun from Germany.

The rest of the bandits who saw him suddenly felt scared when they witnessed the firepower of Karl's weapon, the other bandits stayed, and the others retreated. Karl continued to shoot them one by one as the series of loud noises of gunshots echoed. Blood and bullets spilled everywhere as the screams can be heard around his area, shouting for help and crying from pain. The others were hit in the legs some on the heads and bodies which caused them to die instantly. Karl's face broke in a second as he kill them continuously, it was Karl's first time slaughtering real people, not on Earth but in this Terra.

Karl was feeling guilty, he had just killed them without hesitation. Karl accepted the reality that he was facing and thought there was no time for sympathy for them as it was the right thing to do to protect his loved ones from their enemies. They were not as civilized as the 22nd century on Earth and this was not Earth anymore so it's common here to survive. With that thought in his mind, Karl released the MG 45 with his right hand as he holds it with his left arm. Karl clenched his right hand into a form of fist as he look at the dead corps. He can say that the other bandits are just normal farmers who wants to live peacefully. They have been forced and were another victim of a bandit raid.

~ In The Basement ~

V: "𝘸𝘩𝘺 𝘪𝘴 𝘣𝘪𝘨 𝘣𝘳𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘢𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘴𝘰 𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘨" *pout*

Vivianne, who was laying down on a ruined bed was getting bored, there was nothing that she can talk or play with. Vivianne remembers the book that she was reading and she forgot to bring it with her. She was reading a magic book related to wind elemental. Vivianne recently awakened her magic affinity without telling her mother and brother a few months ago. She wanted to surprise and impress them with her magic tricks so she decided to look for a book that is related to magic. Vivianne stood up from her ruined bed and went to open the door. Vivianne let all of her strength to push the door but it was difficult that it can't be open. Vivianne surrendered and went back to his bed to lay down. Later, while she was looking at the ceiling, she noticed something.

She became curious and decided to check it but she couldn't reach it because of her height. She went the Village Chief's stuff to look for something that she can throw. Vivianne accidentally saw a book and she was delighted that there was a book to read. Soon she decided to forget the shiny thing on the ceiling and focus on the book that she found, she went back to her bed and started reading. Vivianne continued reading the book but it wasn't a book full of knowledge, rather it was a diary from someone else. So she was kinda dissatisfied. She didn't bother who's diary it was as she doesn't care anyway.

~ Somewhere In The Village ~

( Karl's POV )

K: "sh*t they are too persistent, they even have tamed beasts *gritted his teeth* *ratatatat*

K: "they still keep charging even though a lot of their companions are getting crushed by this weapon....do they even cherish their lives? *sighs* i hope everyone is safe from the Village Chief" *ratatatat*

??: "𝘬𝘺𝘢!! 𝘴𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘮𝘦!! 𝘢𝘯𝘺𝘰𝘯𝘦!!"

K: "oh f*ck not now"

( End Of POV )

After Karl finished dealing the bandits near him. Soon he immediately ran carefully towards the house where the scream comes from. After he arrived, luckily the door wasn't locked so he carefully opens the door quietly so that they won't notice. Later, the door became unlocked and as he was sneaking, he suddenly sensed and felt as if there was something else different. Karl quickly let his guards up to be aware of his surroundings and carefully proceeds to go silently.

After he arrived at the main point. Karl's eyes widened and his face broke as he saw a gruesome dead body hanging on the ceiling with the internal organs leaking outside the body. Blood scattered everywhere as every drop of blood dripped from the dead body. Karl was disgusted so he unexpectedly vomits in front of the dead person. Karl was enraged as he see a horrible death. To think they could murdered someone this brutally, unforgivable. Karl regretted not saving her first immediately so he promised to avenge and find the culprit. After a while of cleaning the corpse, he was about to go outside the room to check also the surroundings but unfortunately, he saw a big fat man standing as he smile creepily at Karl.

Karl was outraged and his jaw tighten as his eyes completely broaden. His urge for revenge flows into his body as he carry an MG 45. He was also glad that he won't waste his time searching for the culprit as he was already in front of him. Karl smiled back creepily to him. They both stared back at each other for a minute with their murderous intent leaking out. Before Karl could aim directly, soon the big fat man suddenly grabbed his dagger on his back and then he throw it to Karl. Luckily Karl was able to evade the dagger. But after he evades the dagger, he was now gone in his front. Karl hurriedly look everywhere to find him, he was confused about the sudden disappearance of the big fat man in his place.

Karl suddenly sensed something bad was approaching him. Thanks to his sense, he quickly block his fist that is coming into his face with his weapon. Karl quickly made a counterattack on him before he could leave his place. Karl immediately leaps backward from him and carefully aim the MG 45 he was holding. The moment he heard "Bang" he suddenly sensed danger was approaching so he quickly avoid it. A continuous gunshot was fired at him as the big fat man dodges the bullets coming from Karl. Most of Karl's shots were missed but he was able to hit him on his leg which caused him to groan in pain that he heard. The big fat man was enraged by him.

Energy particles from the ground flow into his body which covered him with a color like rainbow aura and his eyes turned white. All of a sudden, the big fat man reappeared from Karl's back and then punch him with his strength from the back. Karl was in a shocked by his speed and strength. Karl didn't have time to block so he was blasted off towards the wall. The wall shattered after Karl getting collided with it from the blow of the big fat man's punch. Karl was beaten bad so he coughed blood by getting collided with the wall. Karl immediately stood up from the ground and wipe his blood from his mouth as he stared at him.

Karl noticed that his weapon was not with him anymore. He couldn't shoot him directly because of his speed. With that thought in his mind, a sudden silver aura emits into his body. His whole body started to heat as he stared furiously. The big fat man was confused as he watch how Karl emits an aura from his body. His eyes widened from fear as he suddenly felt a powerful force coming from Karl. Without holding for a moment, the big fat man swiftly made his attack and let all of his force to his fist. He was smiling creepily while he pointed his fist at him. However, before he was about to land his attack on him, Karl suddenly vanished from his spot and reappeared from his back as he pointed his fist towards him. The big fat man was startled as he felt a presence from his back. He quickly defend it with his right foot and collided with Karl's arm "Boom".

strength clashed from their attacks that made both of them pushed away by the force. They shortly vanished and reappeared close to each other *Boom*. They continuously fought with all of their strength exchanging punches and kicks *Woosh* as the shockwaves of fighting echoed through their area. The big fat man noticed Karl fighting unconsciously. He was confused about how good he fights despite being unconscious. He was getting dominated by Karl, he felt he was going to lose to him.

( ?? POV )

??: "( 𝘴𝘩*𝘵 𝘩𝘦'𝘴 𝘵𝘰𝘰 𝘨𝘰𝘰𝘥....𝘩𝘰𝘸....𝘸𝘩𝘺 𝘥𝘰𝘦𝘴𝘯'𝘵 𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘦𝘦𝘭 𝘦𝘹𝘩𝘢𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 )"
