Chapter 10 - The History And Origin?

H: "𝘮𝘺 𝘭𝘰𝘳𝘥 𝘪'𝘮 𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦!!" *he shouted*

K: "𝘰𝘩, 𝘪𝘵'𝘴 𝘏𝘢𝘯𝘴, 𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘸𝘢𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘪𝘯 𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦? 𝘴𝘰𝘳𝘳𝘺 𝘪𝘧 𝘪𝘵 𝘵𝘰𝘰𝘬 𝘮𝘦 𝘵𝘰𝘰 𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘨"

H: "𝘪 𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘥 *upset* 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘮𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘣𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘰 𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘪𝘵 𝘰𝘧𝘧 𝘵𝘰𝘥𝘢𝘺, 𝘮𝘺 𝘭𝘰𝘳𝘥?"

K: "𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘪𝘴..."

After talking for a while, Hans apologized to Karl for misunderstanding him and ordered Hans to spend his day with his mother, after all, her mother might be alone. The both of them bid farewell to each other after Karl's last words to Hans. Karl was supposed to meet his sister after his mother appointed him so he ran to see her. After arriving, he saw his sister sitting near the tree, he immediately approaches her but as soon as he was about to touch it he heard someone was calling his name and feels that it was a familiar voice. Karl turned around and he saw his little sister waving to him, he suddenly got confused and the girl who was sitting turned around and saw Karl.

??: "𝘶𝘩𝘮....𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘥𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨?"

K: "𝘦𝘩? 𝘴𝘰𝘳𝘳𝘺 𝘪 𝘮𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘰𝘬 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘦𝘭𝘴𝘦"

After that, Vivianne walks towards his big brother to greet him, same also for Karl after the misunderstanding earlier. Later that, Vivianne asked Karl who was the girl he was talking, Karl said that he just mistook it. He thought that was her as they have the same hair color. Vivianne told Karl that they were going to the Village Chief's house, Karl again thought that what the heck? then why didn't she go to the center to wait? Karl nodded briefly as he doesn't understand what is his sister thinking.

They both arrived in front of the house of the Village Chief and saw the Chief talking to the villagers. Vivianne approached the Chief to ask permission to borrow books from their library since they are the only ones who have books in the village. After they approach, Karl takes the initiative and excused himself to interrupt their conversation. He began to ask the Village Chief for permission, based on what his sister said. After talking to the Village Chief. The Chief approved their request and he let both of them in.

Karl and Vivianne are now inside the Village Chief's house wandering, walking their way to the library. Karl noticed that the Village Chief's house was clean but the atmosphere was gloomy. After arriving, their eyes broadened, and their jaws opened when they saw a hundred piles of books that are well placed. Vivianne quickly began to pick books and started to read at the table.

For all this time Karl didn't know that there was a library in the village, although it was just a small library. Karl remembers that he even make his mother worried just to borrow books from Szcecin City when there was a library in his village. Karl also remembers the punishment and all the things that happened to him when he was sleeping, he thought even if it was a dream or illusion, he somehow feels pain, not from his girlfriend, but his mother from his past life.

Karl's eyebrows drew together the way he look at his sister being serious as he was wondering what is his sister reading. Karl thought maybe she was just reading some old fairytale. Karl didn't bother his sister and he just ignored her as he was also busy finding a book to read. He still recalls his 1st mission from The Guide, to read a book about politics, the history of war, and their nation's history. It took a while for Karl to find the three of them, although it is said on the cover that it was outdated, Karl didn't care and still proceeds to read. He then goes to the table where his sister was sitting and then began to read quietly.

~ An Hour Later ~

After an hour of reading, Karl started to understand their history, the kings, their timeline, and the history of war. Compared to the present Valmir Kingdom that which becomes weakened and nearly destroyed, the Past Valmir Kingdom are one of the twelve world supreme powers on Terra back in Year 344, The Month of Capricorn. The founder and father of the Valmir Kingdom, King Magno The Great who was a cunning, brave, and strong man.

A Strategist and a strong leader that unites the deutsch speaking tribe in his land. After uniting the whole deutsch in the Year 102, The Month Of Pisces, he established a nation and named it the Valmir Kingdom means "The King and it's people". King Magno created the nobles and he even allowed the demi-humans to live. He also grant nobility to them making the humans and demi-humans co-exist and creating a balanced and fair treatment for them.

He also implemented a lot of policies developing the nation, he offered jobs to his people, oppressing his enemies that are against his decrees, banning slavery and the corrupt people got eliminated. He even started to appoint a lord in every city to govern. It all went well and according to his plans, ambitions. 12 years later when he realized that he didn't entirely unify the whole deutsch speaking people after sending spies to the neighboring nation.

He was so busy managing his own nation that he forgot to look out the outside of their boundary. It was too late that they also started to make their own nation and strengthen their defense and military. He tried to command a large scale of invasion to the north and south but the northern part always remains a stalemate. It lasts 3 years before both nations sign a truce and non-aggression. Even King Magno didn't conquer the north, he somehow manage to occupy the smaller part of the south.

More and more famous kings and queen with their nicknames got mentioned in the history book. They are: 2nd King Fred The Genius, 3rd King Baltzer The Kind, 4th Queen Yulia The Beauty, and 5th King Berchtold The Brave. All of them has the same policies as the 1st King, They focused on strengthening and developing their nation. Only the 4th Queen Yulia added a different policy and that is to promote or to empower women, to give women who are worthy of a position. She recreates the system and makes a balanced solution for women and men.

Karl also studied about the history of weapons, every sword, and how it's made. They are broadsword, long sword, arming sword, and shortsword. It has also had different types of swords such as saber, rapier, and falcon. So many things that Karl got discovered and learned for this nation's history. Although Karl couldn't find something related to magic, he still keeps enjoying reading until he completely learned about their history and politics. Karl got reached the end of the page and was confused that it has missing pages. He decides to ask the Village Chief about the missing pages so Karl gets up from his chair but before he could proceed, he was stopped by his sister and told him that don't bother him as he might still be busy after all he is the Chief of this Village.

Karl returned to the table to pick the book to return back from it's original place. After that, he again tried to find one that it could satisfy his interest. While he was searching he accidentally saw a fairytale book and it was similar to what did the boys said a few months ago. " The Five Legend Heroes ", he then grabs the fairytale book and goes back to the table to read. Long ago there are five legendary heroes had descended to the planet terra, they are called "Another World Heroes" that have been summoned to protect humanity from the Majins. Each nation formed an alliance to stop the Majin who was destroying humanity. They couldn't defeat the stronger Majins who outnumbered them so all of them decided to summon other world heroes to protect them.

They all promised to bear the consequences for summoning a hero from another world as for they had no choice left to save humanity, demi-humans, and the elves. After summoning, in just 2 years, the Majins are getting defeated and retreating to their realm. After the War called "The Great Hell's War" the people all around the continent rejoice that they survived, that they win and defeated the last remaining Majins.

The nations in the alliance held a conference to help each other to rebuild their nation. They talk about a lot of topics regarding to rebuild their kingdom, diplomatic relations, and as well as trade. For the first time, all the nations on the continent united to defeat the Majins but...it's not the end yet. Months later the Five Legend Heroes who got summoned started to abuse their power, they become greedy, vicious, and deceived others.

The nations again started to unite to defeat the five legendary heroes, this is the consequence that they've faced. This time their enemy is more powerful than the Majins. A thousand soldiers died day by day fighting the Five Legendary Heroes, all of the Kings from the alliance decided to use a sealing spell, a unique ability that has been bestowed upon the first Kings in the Terra. The day when the Kings of Terra and The Five Heroes faced each other, they in an instant started to fight.

The Kings from the Alliance stood no chance to the Five Heroes so the rest of the Kings decided to sacrifice themselves to reach and hold the Five Legend Heroes. The moment they reach the Heroes, soon the other Kings began to chant a sealing spell on them, luckily the other Kings manage to hold and lock the Five Heroes with them in an instant. As soon as they were ready to execute the spell, the last words from the Kings bid farewell and beg to take care of their kingdoms and their people. Tears dropped from their eyes the moment the Kings execute the spell. All of a sudden, the surroundings turned white.

K: "𝘸𝘰𝘸...𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘴...𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘪𝘤" *flips page*

Again Karl was pissed off because of the missing pages, when the book that he reads gets better and more interesting after a while it will suddenly have missing pages. While Karl was complaining about the missing pages he suddenly remembered about the "Majins" that were mentioned in the story. He gets up from his chair to look for a book related to Majins. After a while, he finally found the book hiding underneath. He wondered who the heck hides a book underneath. After that, he again returned back to his chair and proceeded to read the book named " The Origin Of Beasts ". Karl was perplexed he tried to flip every page just to see the meaning, the origin, and who are the prey but no matter he flips a page, he sees nothing all of them are about the beasts. Karl was disappointed however, when he accidentally flips a page, he saw something interest. Soon he continued to read the book that he pick.

A beast is a kind of demon that has a body of an animal, this beast are usually called ghouls that came from the Majin's portal hundreds years ago before the "Great Hell's War" happen, and till these days, day still like to mimic every animal they see. They can mimic every animal they see, they once tried to mimic a plant but they failed it. Beasts only wander at night, if they were able to stroll outside in the morning, there are two reasons. One is because of the animal fur on how thin and thick they were. The other reason is that they are high beasts. High beasts are far more scarier and dangerous than normal beasts who only can mimic an animal.

High level beasts are mostly on walking and flying but they also possess abilities. An example of a higher level beast is called "Vermins" Vermins are walking beasts that have the ability that can teleport whenever they want. They don't have faces, only mouths so they rely on their senses to find a prey to eat. Using their hands as a weapon, they can swiftly slash your heads in an instant so be careful if you see one.

Another one is called "Scrooch" a Scrooch are flying beasts, they love wandering at night to find preys to eat. They have a human body but their hands are wings instead of an actual hand. Their feet' claws are sharp as well as their teeth. Their eyes are also very sharp and their hearing is very poor so they rely on their eyes. Their heights are similar to a Vermin however, Vermins and Scrooch don't get along well with each other so they ended up fighting. They are easy to kill if you have a strategy if you don't, you deserve it dumbass.

K: "𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘩𝘦𝘤𝘬, 𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘣𝘰𝘰𝘬 𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘶𝘭𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘦? 𝘤𝘳𝘢𝘻𝘺" *flips page*

K: "𝘰𝘩 𝘰𝘬𝘢𝘺....𝘢𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘮𝘪𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘱𝘢𝘨𝘦𝘴"

Karl get's up from his chair quietly and decided to ask the Village Chief why are there missing pages. Vivianne fell asleep reading a book, Karl didn't check the book she was reading so he just ignored it and proceeds to go where the Village Chief is. After arriving, there he saw his Village Chief standing dumbfounded looking outside, Karl was curious about the screams that he heard, he tried to ask the Village Chief. The Village Chief ignored Karl and quickly turned around at him to tell him that he wants Karl and his sister to hide at the basement, Karl refused and pushed the Village Chief away from him, he then ran outside and there he saw chaos...
