Capturing the culprit (1)

Ash and the siblings went back to the estate and talked to the knight captain. They told him about what they have found out so far. The captain is surprised by what the three have done. Ash also told him about the secret underground entrance in the infirmary.

Ash suggested a trap they are going to put in motion to find the real culprit. He knows that assistant will not act in the daylight. The doctor's assistant also knows that the guards are near to finding him out as one of the culprits so he will transfer the corpses tonight. Ash's questions have definitely intimidated him.

Ash suggested that they let the corpses be taken to the location in the forest where the experimentation is going on so that they can find the real identity of the culprit. As soon as the night came the knights dressed as civilians kept an eye on the infirmary. The spies unit infiltrated the infirmary silently and waited in the shadows for the doctor's assistant to make his move.

As soon as the doctor left for his house his assistant started moving the corpses into underground. The corpses are placed in large sized containers and nearly 5 people came in the underground part of the infirmary and took the containers away by putting them in trolleys.

The spies hiding in the shadows used their stealth and followed the 5 people. taking the corpses. The underground basement is in such a way that one side leads to the forest and other side to the place where the leeches were present.

Nearly after 10 minutes passed the path connected to a cave opening and this cave is in the middle of the forest. The spies were following those guys with stealth from a distance without alerting them. They walked for another 5 minutes and the spies finally saw the 5 people going through a house.

Without alerting anyone they checked for any traps in the forest before entering the house. There were nearly 10 traps laid in the 5 minute distance from the house. All the traps were disabled by the 5 spies. They stealthily made into the house using the window on upper side of he building.

As they went inside they saw that the entire house is filled with cages where there are mutated cruel monsters all over. There are all types of monsters as if they were being made to cause a monster outbreak. Suddenly they saw a person with white hair and glasses entering the room.

"Well done boys now we are nearly ready for the monster army to rampage not only this barony but also nearby territories" said the man with a smile.

"Boss Orion, we have received information from doctor's assistant that the guards are nearly onto us so it is better to stop the supply of corpses for now" said the guy.

"HAAHAHAHA" laughed the man psychotically. "The guards won't be able to do anything as soon as the last supply of corpses arrives as this entire barony will be filled with their corpses and I can experiment not only on monsters but also on human corpses" cackled Orion.

"The dukes and the earl have sponsored us with materials and we are going to give them the result they want and I am also getting my own research results by turning these monsters into much powerful monster army" said Orion psychotically.

"Bring the corpses to the basement and keep an eye as we have reached a critical phase in my experiments" ordered Orion.

They hurried and carried the corpses into the basement. "So they are using the corpses to bring materials inside and after creating that chemicals these corpses are disposed of into monster infested sewers along with the chemical injected into their bodies" whispered one of the spies.

"He is committing abominations which can never be forgiven" whispered other spy. "Let us report back to the knight captain" said one of the spies and they escaped from there.

They went back through a different route into the barony and informed the knight captain of what has been happening. "That bastard Orion, I knew that he was not dead" shouted knight captain Morgan.

"Do you know him captain Morgan?" asked Quinn. "Yes he used to be a researcher in "Royal academy of Sciences" in the capital. His experiments were deemed dangerous and he was dismissed by the academy. He then came here and started doing those type of experiments again. My daughter was kidnaped by him and experiment on. Luckily we were able to save her on time but many were not so lucky. He set off a duplicate corpse of himself as dead to stop authorities to look for him but I knew he was not dead. Those fools did not even investigate that he might be alive" said Morgan with anger in his eyes.

"This time I will not keep him alive" said Morgan. "Don't say that here Morgan" said Ash. "Since he is already dead in the records so why don't we make it a reality" said Rose.

Ash looked at Quinn whose jaws were dropped as this was the first time he heard his step sister talk like this. "We don't have much time we need to act today as Orion will be finished with experimentation and barony will be in danger" said Morgan.

Ash nodded and said "We need a plan where we also need to destroy those mutated monsters inside that house and also killing that psychotic bastard".

"Inform the baroness about the investigation" said Morgan to one of his knights. The knight bowed and went away to inform the baroness.

"We will smoke him and his lackeys out but before that capture the doctor's assistant" said Ash. "We will keep him in the cell before starting the operation" said Ash.

"Will you three be participating?" asked Morgan knowing the danger involved. "The first part we will leave it to the knights but based on what you have told Orion will definitely escape using the same trick as last time so we will surprise him rather than taking part in the main mission" said Ash.

The knight captain was relieved but also conflicted because though the main mission is dangerous and the three will not be there if Orion does escape and uses any dangerous tricks against the three then it could be life threatening to Quinn and Rose. He is not afraid that Ash will get hurt because he could see that Ash is not a normal person. Orion is going to die a gruesome death if he comes across Ash that is the conclusion the captain came to.

They discussed the plan of how to apprehend Orion and his lackey along with dealing with the danger of the monster inside the house.
