The World

The world is being watched by divine beings (gods) from all different mythologies (e.g. Greek, Roman, Norse). Where specific beings are granted mystical abilities, blessings, each tailored for that individual, namely humanoid races. Dwarfs, Elves, Dark Elves, Giants, and of course humans (there are other races but I haven't developed the idea that far yet). Gods can choose to harbor chosen one/s (there may be multiple), these individuals are usually chosen at birth, there are some occasions where people can be chosen later, or be chosen by multiple different gods. As there are a very large amount of Gods so please don't expect me to say all of them at certain moments (really please don't I'm heavily inexperienced). Since there is a yet confirmed amount of gods, there are definately gods that give prophecies, and this being the case these gods usually alert their pantheon about juicy catches.
