Bye Bye Butterfree or not

On their way to the saffron city, the gang arrived at a very high cliff staring at the horizon. They soon noticed a large group of Butterfree pass over their head in the horizon.

"Why is there a lot of butterfree here?" Yellow asked

"The butterfree is celebrating their season of love." Brock said with a smile.

"Season of love?" Yellow asked.

"The season of love is when they lay their egge." Ash said

"The butterfree finds a mate when they lay their eggs across the sea." Ash continued

"It sounds so romantic!" Misty said

Ash smiled at the thought of his butterfree finding a mate. He had a feeling thatvhe have let him go soon.

"Why don't we just get a hot air ballon and see what the butterfree are doing." Glissle said

Everyone agreed.

Brock had led them off to rent an air ballon. They were all standing inside as Yellow said,"I'm surprised there's a hot air ballon for rent out there."

"We'll probably see a lot of air ballon, once we'll get up into the air." Brock said

"Why are we waiting? Let's go." Ash said

Brock said,"Hold on tight."

Brock turned on the fire of the ballon, making the ballon lift yp. As they got higher and higher. Everyone smiled in amazement as they saw the view.

Glissle smiled,"What a view. "

"Amazing." Yellow said

"Look there they are." Glissle said pointing towards the butterfree.

"Let's go." Brock said before he lowered the air ballon behind the butterfree so they won't inturupt any butterfree.

"Look at that." Yellow said and smiled

"Okay Ash take out your butterfree also." Misty said

"Right. " Ash said and pulled out his pokeball and threw it and said,"Butterfree, go."

"Free!" Butterfree said and appeard infront of Ash.

Ash smiled and said, "Hey there buddy, I called you out here so you could look for a mate."

Butterfree tilted his head and looked behind him. He saw a lot of Butterfree over and flew over to the group to see if there was one that caught his eyes. But each time, Ash's Butterfree appeared next to one, they just turn their heads away, and so Butterfree continued to find.

"Huh?" Ash asked.

"Maybe none of these Butterfree are his type." Glissle said

Then they suddenly heard pokeballs opening from behind them and looked over to see more hot air ballons were flying behind them.

"Look at those ballons." Yellow said as they saw many trainers realsing their pokemon.

"They are all butterfree trainers. " Brock explained,"They come this time, every year to realse their butterfree. "

They saw a ery pretty girl not far from them, holding a pokeball befor relasing her pink butterfree. Brock stared as her and blushed.

"Oh no, not this again." Misty mumbled

"Oh, bro." Glissle mumbled.

"Butterfree?" Ash asked,"You didn't find a patner for you."It noded

Brock pushed himshelf beside Ash, making all the others jump back, "Listen up, butterfree you see that butterfree that girl just realsed? " He pointed to the Butterfree the very pretty girl realsed, "That one right over there. Pick that one."

Ash's Butterfree looked at the same Butterfree looking at Brock as he tilted his head.

"Don't you get it?" Brock asked,"If two Butterfree fall in love, than there is a chance she will fall in love with him."

Ash raised his eyebrow before he can think anything, Misty hit him hard on the hand with her hand, making him groan in pain as he held his head.

"Don't involve in pokemon's love affairs." Misty said

"I fully agree with you." Ash said

"How about you socialize for a while? Who knows you might find a suitable partner while you're at it?" Ash suggested

Butterfree noded. Then he flew off towards other butterfree s. He now had a good feeling that Butterfree would make a good impression on the pink butterfree or others.

Then he spotted him next to the pink butterfree who seemed to be very interested in him.

"Look like Butterfree found the one." Glissle said with his smile.

"Love at first sight." Brock said

"It a pink one too." Ash said

The two Butterfree flew over to the gang.

"Welcome back," Ash said with a smile,"Did you have fun talking with the other Butterfree?"He asked, His friend landing his shoulder.

Butterfree noded.

Ash looked at the pink Butterfree with interest,"So I see. She's really pretty, Isn't she?"He asked

Butterfree noded with a blush.

The pink Butterfree blushed and looked down making it clear she was embarrassed. Ash smiled. He knew his pokemon friend would find a mate sooner than later, it was just matter of time. The group began talking with the pink butterfree.

Then they heard a loud noise and looked behind them to see The Team Rocket finally close by, and through the speakers of the hlicopter, they heard the same familar voices.

They said"Prepare for trouble!

And make it double!

To protect the world from devastation!

To unite all peoples within our nation!

To denounce the evils of truth and love!

To extend our reach to the stars above!

Jessie!

James!

Team Rocket blasts off at the speed of light!

Surrender now, or prepare to fight!"

Mewoth appeared and said,"Meowth, that's right."

Jessie smiled and said,"Look at all the Butterfree, we can take."

"All ours for taking." James said and the a huge net is revaled from the helicopter.

"Let's take some of them." Meowth said with a laugh and all the Butterfree started to get trapped inside the net.

"They'r stealing all the Butterfree." Glissle said with anger.

"Hey stop it." Ash said

"Stop it or you'll disturb their all egg lay season." Yellow yelled

"Can't you see those Butterfree in love." Brock said

Jessie laughed and taunted them.

"Those Butterfree are free no more." James said

Ash angrily said,"we have to stop them."

Team Roxket capture more and more Butterfree in its net. Brock started to turn the air ballon in pilot again, flying them after Team Rocket.

"Can't we speed up and catch them?" Yellow asked

"I'm trying but their helicopter is much faster." Brock replied

Ash's Butterfre turned to the pink Butterfree.

Butterfree told the pink Butterfree to stay with Ash and he will save them.

"Ha." Jessie said,"what can a little bug like you do?"

Butterfree begins to use his move on the helicopter, which damged it beacuse one of the helicopter's wings broke and they lost altitude falling down from the sky.

Brock's soon landed the hot-air ballon knowing that Team Rocket was still in the area and they were right. They spotted them just then getting out of the helicopter. Ash was fuming at them for hurting all the Butterfree. He turned to Butterfree.

"Let's show them your powere, no mercy, Butterfree." Ash said

Butterfree noded

"Use silverpowder." Ash said

Butterfree used silverpowder which caused them to flying off again.

"Team Rocket's Blasting off agin." They said

The pink Butterfree flew over to Ash's Butterfree Doing a dance. Understanding what she was trying to do Butterfree did a dance right along with her making Ash smile at his pokemon friend happy that the two of them confessed their felling to each other.

"You see. Sooner or later. I told you that you will find a mate." Ash said

The other smiled as he was right. Butterfree inded find his mate and he couldn't be happier.

When nightime hit everyone went to the pokemon center to get some sleep, but before Ash could even think about his sleep, He had to send Butterfree and his mate to the coral. After Butterfree find his mate, He was prepared to leave him so his friend could start a family with his own.

Butterfree and his mate talked it over and decided to start their family not at the coral but at Oak's ranch. That way Butterfree can still be with Ash and his mate with no problems. Ash couldn't help but smile at his bug type and his mate, who he catched, who had no problem with the arrangement.

Ash and his friend went to sleep in pokemon center and Ash also transferd the Butterfree into the Oak's ranch. And at the next day after this event. He and his friends continued to go towards the saffron city.
