Lorenzo Pov

The conversation with Richard took longer than expected, we done business in the past together. I used his restaurant in Tokyo to ship out drugs, he wanted to know why there wasn't a shipment this month. I told him not to question me, I don't allow people to disrespect me. When his sister Rebecca came out of no where and push Maya I know have had her apologies but that would make them think I have gone soft or care about Maya.

Talking about her, she wasn't at the bar. I went looking for her when we were done talking but she wasn't waiting for me like I told her too. I didn't want to start thinking the worst, she could be in the bathroom or somewhere else. I knew the guards at the door wouldn't let her leave but I'm sure if she wanted to she will find another way out. I decided to wait for a few minutes before I called my men to check the compound. What was I thinking letting her go alone.

After a few seconds I decided to call my men to look for her but I heard my name being called. I looked at the other side of the Bar and saw Elena and her father. What the hell, I thought I left her in Russia.

"I have been looking for you, Lucas told me he invited you" she said when she reached me.

I was too distracted by her red glitter dress, it was too much. It was literally hurting my eyes. Her lips were red, her eyes were red. She looked like someone painted red all over her, I can't believe I almost married her.

"Boss" her father nodded at me

"They are rumours that you brought a girl" she said looking around as if she would spot her

"Don't tell me it's that whore for the dinner"

"What whore" her father asked looking around.

"Oh this disgusting woman he invited to dinner, he even let her talk to me rudely. She should have had her tongue taken out for that"

I shake my head ignoring her, right now I need to make sure Maya wasn't doing something stupid. I looked around the room hoping I would spot her red hair somewhere but no. She was no where in sight..

"I will see she is punished accordingly princess" I hear her father say

"What?" I asked looking at his bald head. Was he talking about my Maya?

"You can't allow some girl you picked up on the street disrespect us"

"She isn't some girl I picked up on the street" I lied. "She was my guest and Elena disrespected my guest. She should be the one getting punished"

"What!" She screamed "Daddy!!"

"Mind what you say cause it might be your last" I warn him when he opened his mouth to speak.

"If you or any of your men lay a finger on Maya I will cut them off" I say before walking off.

Fuck, I shouldn't have done that. He knows I don't care about anyone and for me to say what I said he might put two and two together. Not that I cared for her, I need her alive for information.

"No sign of her outside boss" Raffael tells me through the earpiece.

"Did you check everywhere?"

"Yes, no one have seen her"

"Fuck!" I yelled getting people's attention. Where the fuck was Alessio, I haven't seen him tonight. He was meant to be here, if he was fucking some girl I will cut of his dick. This isn't the time or places.

"Looking for someone?" I looked up down at the voice. It was a woman that I don't recognise but she looked like she belong here. I could see the lack of hope in her eyes.

"What?"

"The woman you came with, she left with another guy"

I stopped breathing as she said that, Maya left with a guy? What the fuck

"How do you know?"

"I saw them, she had red her right and a black dress. You don't need her sir I can provide you with whatever you want" she says putting her arms on my chest. Looking down at her perfectly manicured fingers that looked like claws.

"Who was she with?" I asked ignoring what she said. Who the fuck thought they could take her home? Didn't they know she belonged to me. She hesitated not answering, she looked at me nervously.

"Who!" I yelled this time grabbing her arm, I caught people's attention once again.

"Alessio, Sir. I recognised him" I could see the fear in her so I let her go. I heard her heels against the floor as she ran away.

That fucker! What the fuck was he playing at, taking her without asking or telling me. I took out my phone and called the idiot, he answered by the second ring.

"Hellooo" he sang

"Where is she" I asked

"She's right in front of me stuffing her face with ice cream and cookies"

"What!" I whispered, he took her out for ice cream and cookies. Did he think she was a child. She could easily kill him right now.

"If you aren't back at the villa in 30 minutes I will kill both of you" I warn him

"You a buzz kill" he mumbles

"If she gets caught on camera they will find her" I tell him. They could still be looking for her.

"Fine we are in our way" he cuts off the phone before I could ask to speak to her.

I have been home for a good 5 minutes and the weren't back yet, it's being 40 minutes since I called. Knowing Alessio he drives like a madman so it shouldn't take them this long, unless she killed him and is on the run a voice in my head says. I would love to think she wouldn't kill Alessio cause he was kind to her but I doubt she has a heart. As I was about to call Raffael and Enzo to go look for his car I hear it in the drive way.

I waited patiently on the front door, I wasn't going to react angrily. I will wait for him to explain why he took her and won't lose my temper on her again. I could hear her laughing as they got closer to the door. What did he say that was so funny?

"Lorenzo!" Alessio cheered loudly when he saw me. I ignored him and looked at my girl, she was looking me nervously but my eyes moves to the jacket she was wearing.

"I told you to wait for me at the bar" I ask her

"Well, I got bored" she shrugs "your friends party was very dull"

"Someone could have taken you!" I yelled losing my temper. Seeing her all cozy up with Alessio didn't make me happy.

"Why do you care! If someone does take me then I guess I won't be your problem anymore. I'm not one of your girls Lorenzo, I don't belong here. You should have killed me that night"

"I wish I had, if I did I won't have to worry about you killing my men or other people" I tell her, if I killed her that night I took her this wouldn't be happening. I let her distract me, let the Mexicans steal from me twice cause I was too busy making sure she wasn't killing anyone.

"Why don't I make it easy for you then, I will stay away from you!" She yelled "And I won't kill any of your precious men yet!" She stomps off

"Well that went well, why do you always have to be a dick" Alessio says when she already halfway up the stairs.

"Me! Why did you take her without telling me?"

"She was about to leave and I thought I made it easier for her" he says walking away

"Some things were said about her"

"What?" I asked confused

"Just girls being girls, I'm surprised she didn't kill them. I thought removing her from there would be good"

"What did they say?"

"Well I remember them calling her a cow" he says casually

"And you didn't do anything?" They should lose their tongue for insulting her, she the most beautiful woman in that room tonight.

"Well I thought it would be a bit alarming if I walked into the girls bathroom and start cutting tongues off"

"I did the better thing, took her for ice cream. For a man who has fucked the whole world you know very little of women"

"You should have told me, I would have done something" I would have but bullets in there heads.

"Just be nicer to her" he warns before walking off "if you want her that bad make her yours, jealousy doesn't look good on you" he says laughing.

Maya Pov

"Can I drive?" I asked Alessio looking at his red Lamborghini

"No" he laughs "no one touches my baby"

I rolled my eye, we were enjoying other ice cream in the little ice cream shop before he got a phone call and all of a sudden we needed to go, I knew it was Lorenzo that called he was the boring one. I was actually enjoying the ice cream and cookies.

"Pleaseeee" I begged him "I have always wanted to drive one"

"Not now, Lorenzo will have my head if he finds out and I like my head very much. So get you fine behind in the car"

"Fine but we can't let him ruin all our fun" I say getting in. I was starting to warm up to him. He wasn't like Lorenzo, although I knew they were the same. Both mafia men, killed people. But Alessio had something that makes you forget about that and see the good in him. He wasn't selfish, he cared about others

unlike Lorenzo. He managed to make me forget what those women said about me in the bathroom. I knew I could get him to trust me, I could easily escape like that. I spent the ride thinking about it, could I actually get away from them, if I was going to I needed to do it before it was time to go back to Russia. I knew Italy, I could easily find out base and contact my boss. All I had to do was be smart and keep a low profile, no more arguing or angering Lorenzo.
