132 Maybe Your New Teammate (Weekend 5/5)

Was this a lucky day. Likely so, but maybe not. Vanessa sat on a bench, staring into the sky. Logan is too busy to help her. Nobody else seemed to have the ability to help her beat her mission. Then there were the four assassins that they fought last weekend. Of which there was still no clue as to who sent them.

At least this month had five weekends for Vanessa to get it together. Yet no matter how hard she kicked the air and pondered, it never seemed to help her get an answer to beating the water maiden.

And what the hell was Logan up to that had him away for so long? At least today he reached out saying he wanted to meet her at this spot. But what for?

"May I have a seat?" asked Iku.

Vanessa smiled up, "Sure. How are you"?

"Fine. How's your new teammate"?

Vanessa cocked her head.

Iku widened her eyes, "Your new teammate... Faith... Skinny black girl with slanted eyes like mine. Pretty long hair".
