But when her small guild of misfits is threatened by an in-game assassin and her "ghost" warns her of a traitor, she feels at the end of her ropes. Notes: I know my first 2 chapters are confusing. I literally give the first 65 chapters free. My story has a "Do now, explain later" rhythm to it. The characters you read on in the first two chapters get fleshed out in the next two chapters. So give it a chance. Also, this is not your typical trash Isekai. There is no boy getting hit by a truck. No heavy romance. No high dive online nonsense. No harem. No sex jokes thrown every chapter nor bouncing tits. No truck-kun. No getting trapped in the game. No matrix or any other corny stuff. My concept is not original. But I literally cannot think of 1 story out there that has it. ".........///////////" indicates a transition in scene or time. My story gets hectic. This will help a lot. Instagram Page: the_isekai_game follow for more info regarding The Isekai Game. Artist: Serah Fletcher aka gr0vey.art on Instagram

Huh?

After sailing across the sea, Jeff took Vanessa, Dani, and Logan out to the city. Dani was in her own world, popping her shoulders through the rundown town that was filthy beyond belief. At least they didn't have to really worry about muggers or any other high-level fighters. This place was truly a dump with broken signs. Jeff was actually the biggest guy in town.

Vanessa became a little complacent until Logan started lecturing her to stay on her guard for the assassins. No matter how many times she looked around or who she checked out, nobody appeared to be a threat.

A man in his mid-twenties walked up to Jeff, asking for directions. Logan paid him almost no mind. As expected, Jeff was striking up a chat and burning time. Two more older guys joined which annoyed Logan even further.
