34 Confessions

Later in Kiki's room, the girls were watching anime. Vanessa and Jaivva wore shonen themed anime shirts similar to Dani who wore a shirt of all female fighters. Kiki sported a black horror-themed shirt. Mini wore a ninja shirt and made fun of Nana's high school heroes shirt for having the worst fan base.

"Like my hoodie?" asked Dezzy as she came into the room.

"Cheater," Kiki replied staring at the yellow mouse hoody.

Dani sat in front of Vanessa and Mimi while holding an origami fortune teller. Dani first played Vanessa through to see who she would marry and kill. Shockingly, they were both Logan.

What a deep impact that was. Perhaps it was due to Dani's unique innovation of implementing things outside of the fortune to dictate the counts. Regardless, Vanessa couldn't imagine hurting Logan. Nor could anybody see him acknowledging a love interest.

"Sounds like marriage," said Dani, "Just give him a little piece of heaven and tie his dead corpse to a wall. Oh, and be sure to sew his mouth shut".

"Sounds like something Pattie would do to him," said Mimi, "She is going to beat him one day. She truly hates Logan. I can't wait to see her beat Logan down".

Dezzy agreed, "But that woman got other problems".

"Like for real," added Mimi, "What does she want from us"?

The two couldn't help ranting about their butchered built leader. Jaivva and Vanessa were both, asked if Pattie was really that bad.

Mimi answered, "To make it worse you can tell she is not being herself. Like she tries too hard to be something she's not. Like, chill ya know".

Dani was about to run Mimi through the origami fortune teller when Kiki busted out of her closet with an ouija board.

Mimi scooted towards the center with her eyes wide. Dani packed her freshly made fortune teller and joined the huddle of girls around the ouija board, dragging Vanessa with her.

Dani sighed, "Ugh. I hate ghosts... and clowns".

Vanessa herself was still bugged by the girl in red earlier.

Mimi held Dani tightly brushing her hair, "Imma be so sad when Dani is finally taken by some guy. You will never be the little ball of innocence that you are now... I hope he is good to you".

Kiki gave a half-smile as Dani said, "No. No guys, men, boys, girls, women, hermaphrodite, nor dating of any kind. I want to be away from it all just like Logan. Just let me be in peace".

Kiki prepped the board, "Well that is okay because we are going to contact some spirits and find the answer to Dani's problems".

Kiki's mom, Ms. Katz popped her pretty blonde head the door in smiling at her girls contacting spirits. She closed the door. Kiki saw and giggled at her mom's quest and began her seance to contact the dead.

In the seance, Kiki asked the dead for a sign to help Dani with all of her problems. The girls held their hand on the marker. It glided its way to the letter "C" and began gliding left. Dani freaked out, causing the marker to fly up.

The girls began laughing as Dani was blushing, "Yeah. No. No spirits. I don't like ghosts. Nor clowns. Oh God no. Nor fire".

"Damn Kiki," said Jaivva, "You're about to give Dani a heart attack".

Mimi held on to Dani, "Don't worry. We won't let the evil witch scare you with her spells".

Kiki gave an evil smile to the girls. Vanessa noted how terrifying she was leading Kiki to note how badly Vanessa beat her in October. Mimi then hushed everybody and centered the attention back on Dani.

Dani had then openly said, "Sorry. I have been a little stressed lately because...".

After a long pause and much-avoided eye contact, Dani continued, "The shelter me and my brother lives at is a pain with stupid rules and things. And it is nasty. Also, they say it is a safe place for women, but there is nothing safe about that place. And I can't effin stand it. And Jeff is just...".

Dani took another pause with her eyes watering, "I don't know. He needs to get himself together before he tries to tell me anything. Like I get he is trying. But he is just not doing it for me. I feel like he does more to impress others and seek acceptance from others as being a good big brother before he actually talks to me and finds out my needs".

"Come stay with me or over at Logan's," said Kiki, "You know you are welcome".

Dani replied, "I should. You think that's okay"?

Kiki nodded without a thought.

Mimi was shocked that Kiki offered Logan's home as though she owned, "Where is Logan? He was supposed to grab us snacks".

"I don't know," answered Jaivva, "But I'm getting tired and Nana already beat me to sleep".

Mimi looked over at Nuhat who was sleeping soundly as a kitten, "She done fucked up".
