Chapter 24 - Favors

Shortly Tatsuya let Miyuki go. Although he didn't want to, he knew this wasn't the place.

He stepped back and looked towards Ziyun, "It's a relief to see you safe."

Ziyun just pouted, "were you even worried about me? You only have eyes for Miyuki jiemie.

Tatsuya just patted her head, "Don't be stupid. I was worried that is why I came running"

He glanced at Nie Li, "Anyway, what did you find here?"

Nie Li looked at Tatsuya. He had many questions he wanted to ask too. He didn't want to talk about Temporal Demon Spirit Book, "Well, we found Old Elixirs, Armors, Weapons, a few Gems."

Tatsuya walked towards the coffin "Dead Body?"

Nie Li shook his head, "Just some items."

Tatsuya looked inside the coffin. Whatever thing was interfering with his Elemental Sight had been taken out, "I will not ask about anything you got from inside this coffin. In return, don't talk to anyone about what you saw?"

Nie Li stared at the landscape that had turned beyond recognition, "If you can tell me why? are you hiding your powers?"

Tatsuya glanced at Nie Li, "Intuition, I have a feeling that I shouldn't talk about my powers. It is somehow related to those who have surpassed Legend Rank. I have seen Legend Rank, but the feeling of danger I get when I am about to talk about my powers. A Legend Rank is not enough to give me that feeling."

Nie Li narrowed his eyes. He looked towards Tatsuya then at the scene he had created. As if understanding the circumstance a look of clarity appeared in his eyes.

He understood that the reason Tatsuya didn't want to talk about his powers might be for similar reasons to him because those things existed.

He figured the intuition thing was a lie. Someone must have warned them about their powers. But, he was sure they didn't know complete details.

He nodded, "When we came here, it was already like this."

Tatsuya looked at Miyuki and Ziyun, who was standing at a distance, "Let's go. We have to find the exit."

While they were walking, searching for an exit, the atmosphere was a little heavy. Ziyun couldn't take it anymore first and spoke up, "How do we find an exit?"

"There is no exit," Nie Li shook his head and said, "If an exit existed, those people would have gotten out."

"No exit?" Ye Ziyun was stunned for a moment, and sadly asked, "Then, we..." She wanted to say we won't be able to get out, but then she glanced at Tatsuya. She was sure Tatsuya could create an exit.

Miyuki smiled and reassured her, " don't worry, Chen Linjian and others will make an exit when they dig the Military Grounds. Although, that might take some time."

Ziyun looked at the ceiling above, "How much time?"

"Maybe a day or two?" Miyuki guessed. It would take that much time for everyone to reach Military Grounds."

Miyuki smiled, "But till then, we can search for treasures."

A Few hours later,

Ziyun was slumping while walking, "We can't find anything."

Miyuki suddenly stopped and assumed her Leviathan's form. At first, she felt exploration was novel, but soon she got bored.

Leviathans form allowed her to control water at the same time, water vapor in the air became her receptors. Everything that water vapor touched. She could collect information from those.

Soon, she figured out the whole map. She could see the location of treasures. There was only one room that held all treasures. Others were empty. Just diversions, probably to buy time if someone ever infiltrated to steal.

Miyuki stopped her transformation, "I know where the treasure is."

Nie Li couldn't help become curious, "What kind of demon spirit is that."

There were few demon spirits he didn't know about, He had never seen anything like that. From what he figured out with this demon spirit, she could collect information on a large scale.

Tatsuya said, "It is one of the two ancient demon spirits that have been inherited by the heir of our tribes."

"Tribe?" Ziyun and Nie Li were curious.

"A nomadic tribe, they were trying to find something. We were too small so, we don't remember much about that time. From what we remember, the last they went to explore the forbidden area. We got separated from the tribe, Lord Ye Mo found us and took us in."

He paused and then continued, "They as if knew that they might die. Before they left, they gave a few things to Miyuki to take care of, Miyuki is the next heir of our tribe."

Ziyun was surprised, she didn't think Miyuki was like her, a successor, "I always thought, Tatsuya-ge, Miyuki-Jiemie were from Glory City like Ye Han-ge."

Miyuki smiled, "No, we were taken in by Lord Ye Mo."

Nie Li couldn't help but become curious, "what was your tribe called? Maybe I would have read about them?"

Miyuki just smiled, "I highly doubt that. They always worked from the shadows. They called themselves Yotsuba. My full name is Miyuki Yotsuba."

While talking, they finally reached the room with treasures because of Miyuki's information they didn't have to check any room or get lost. They were able to take the shortest route to the treasure room.

Looking at the stone wall in front of them Ziyun was surprised, "Miyuki-Jiemie, is this a hidden path?"

Miyuki smiled she put her hand on the wall and pushed it, the wall slowly turned. A huge Stone chamber appeared in front of them.

Within the stone chamber, there's a staircase connecting upwards. However, the exit was blocked by some huge stones.

The things in the stone chamber left the things in the chamber shocked everyone.

This place was filled with all sorts of bronze and silver armor. There are even a large amount of inscription scrolls, demon crystals, furs, and horn-type materials. It was also full of precious metals and piles of gold coins, which were naturally the currencies of the Sacred Empire.

Many unknown valuables should be precious treasures of the Sacred Empire.

If someone obtained these treasures and brought it back to Glory City to sell it, they would make a fortune out of it!

"Let's pick some stuff." Nie looked at everyone and said.

Tatsuya glanced at the stuff and said, "Miyuki, is there anything you like?"

Miyuki looked at the stuff, her eyes fell onto a stone platform and then on the spirit lamp kept on the stone platform.

She could tell it was some type of demon spirit, "Tatsuya-ge, do you want that? It seems to some special demon spirit.

Hearing her Nie Li who was also looking at the lamp stopped with surprise. In his previous life, the Shadow Devil Spirit Lamp ended up in Shen Yue's hands and sold by him in an auction. He just realized his interference was changing things. He took Ziyun with him because of that Miyuki followed them because he intersected with Coffin he drew Tatsuya to their location. He didn't think they would recognize the lamp in one look. He still underestimated them, since in the past life they let Shen Yue take the lamp.

Tatsuya looked towards his system screen.

"Nie Li, do you want this lamp?" Tatsuya asked him.

Nie Li looked at Tatsuya, "Yes." He didn't want to deal with or make enemies out of both of them. In Glory City, their roots were too deep not only that they were too smart. Unlike him who had gone through advisories to gain wisdom, they were similar. Maybe, because they were from outside the Glory City.

He had a hard time lying in front of them. He was even suspicious that Miyuki even had an idea about his situation. He found the best way to deal with them was to be straightforward.

"Ok! both of you take whatever you want."

Nie Li couldn't help but look at them curiously, "You didn't come for treasure?" then he looked towards Ziyun, "Did you come to protect Ziyun?"

Ziyun couldn't help but stop when she heard her name.

Miyuki glanced at Ziyun, "We were asked by Patriarch of Divine Family to protect his son. You can never have too many favors. Our little lady didn't think it was important to inform us about going on this treasure hunt."

Ziyun looked down with an ashamed expression. She thought it would be some simple expedition. She didn't want to disturb both of them.

Nie Li couldn't help but smile while looking at that expression he felt Ziyun was too cute. He turned around and took the lamp in his interspacial ring, "What do you plan to do till we wait?"

Tatsuya wanted to practice and increase the soul force of his second soul realm. He looked at Miyuki as if asking what did she want to do?

"Tatsuya-ge and I will stay here to practice. You two can decide what you want to do."

Ziyun was embarrassed and shouted, "I will stay here too!!!"
