Chapter 16 - Field Trip.

Nie Li took out the Nightmare Demon Pot. This black jade pot had a light luster on it that was emitting out a mysterious aura.

This item is an ancient treasure. He never thought that he could get his hand on it so fast. He thought it would take much more effort to get it.

Nie Li's right hand stroked the Nightmare Demon Pot, injecting a little soul force into the pot.

The Nightmare Demon Pot shined, forming some sort of connection between it and Nie Li.

One of the Nightmare Demon Pot's uses is that, by putting in ten types of demon spirits with the same attribute into the Nightmare Demon Pot to refine, there is a chance that it would refine out a stronger demon spirit.

Now he needed to get more money and buy a lot of demon spirits. With that, he would be able to refine much stronger spirits.

"I assume that is the one you want" Tatsuya was standing beside him.

Nie Li put the pot in his ring "Yes if you don't mind me asking how did you collect so many treasures."

Nie Li could see a lot of rare items. He wasn't sure if Alchemy Associations' powers were enough to collect so many treasures.

"Every family has storages of old books. In languages, they could not understand. I just needed to translate some books for a few weak Aristocratic families. Once they started becoming stronger others came running with books. In return, they were willing to give anything. Even a chance to visit their treasury. Of course, without the backing of two giants like Alchemy Association and City Lord mansion, it wouldn't be possible."

Although Tatsuya wrote books that made it easier to translate other languages those books were only for the eyes of Top Brass of Alchemy Association and City Lord Mansion. If everyone got those then they would also be able to get stronger drastically. That might bring forth chaos. Would do more harm than good.

That's why although he was able to translate 80% of books only 5% to 10% of knowledge was released that too was a low level.

Nie Li was astonished that Tatsuya was straightforward "Is it alright telling me all this?"

Tatsuya stated while looking at him "you will know sooner or later." He paused before continuing "Then I and Miyuki will be leaving. If you need anything else Teacher Yang Xin will help you."

Yang Xin also smiled brightly "Yes, little brother Nie Li. If you want anything just ask me"

"Teacher, when you come to City Lord Mansion. Do come to see me. I have something for you"

A look of dread appeared on Yang Xin.

Looking at that Miyuki let out a small laugh "Lady Yang Xin, don't worry it's just a gift Tatsuya-ge prepared for you."

Yang Xin finally let out a sigh of relief.

She smiled looking curious "What is it?"

"It is something you love but teacher if you want it then go through those things I gave you."

Yang Xin gave a pout "Fine" she knew if Tatsuya was giving her something then it must be something major.

Tatsuya forwarded his hand to shake Nie Li's "then I will see you later."

Nie Li shook his hand "then see you later"

After Tatsuya and Miyuki left the room. Nie Li looked towards the place Tatsuya left then Yang Xin. He was curious about what was going on between them but didn't ask just yet.

"Director, if you don't mind I have something for you" With that he took out a paper from his pocket.

Yang Xin looked at the paper with shaking eyes. She felt she made the worst decision ever.

And so three days passed.

Tatsuya was in his room practicing. With the new Soul Realm, most important thing was to reach the silver rank. Then he had to find a demon spirit he could fuse with. Although he could use items to increase his soul force they couldn't help him break the limit.

He heard a soft knock on his door. He walked to open the floor.

When he opened the door Miyuki was standing there. "Miyuki?"

"Tatsuya-sama, Young Master of Divine Family is here to see us"

Tatsuya wondered why was he here. "Let's go see him."

Miyuki looked at the cloak on the bed and had a naughty smile on her face "Won't you wear that?"

Tatsuya said "No, I only need to wear that in fights or in front of Nie Li"

Miyuki let out a chuckle "If you say so."

When they reached the living room they saw a tall-thin boy with brown hair sitting on a chair with his elbows on knees and fingers crossed.

His name was Chen Linjian Hier of Divine Family. Son of Chen Zhenlong Patriarch of Divine Family. They were the biggest supporters of the Snow Wind Family.

When Chen Linjian saw them coming he stood up and politely greeted "Young Master Tatsuya"

"Young Lord Chen, what brings you here" Tatsuya and Miyuki sat down in front of him.

"Young Master Tatsuya, Lady Miyuki I found a Partial Map of Ancient Orchid City Ruins. I came to ask you if you would like to join me on an expedition" Chen Linjian didn't know much about Tatsuya and Miyuki. Although they had met many times.

He knew Ye Ziyun and Ye Han too but the most mysterious people in the City Lord Mansion weren't City Lord or Lord Ye Mo but these two. Even his Father seems to respect them.

This time his father told him to invite them on the trip so he came here. He knew his father wanted him to become friends with them.

Miyuki smiled "Tatsuya-ge, we should go. I haven't gone outside Glory City in forever."

Tatsuya just nodded "Ok, it's about time we go exploring things outside the city. Then Young Master Chen when are you leaving?"

"Day after tomorrow, we will leave in the morning at 9."

"Ok, then we will see you there."

After Chen Linjian left Miyuki stood up.

She had a big smile on her face "then Tatsuya-sama, I will go prepare the things we might need."

Tatsuya sat back on the sofa crossing his legs as he looked at Miyuki "What did you do?"

Miyuki chuckled delightfully "Well, earlier today Ziyun came. She told me about this. I thought we have been in the City for so long. We should go out."

Tatsuya let out a small smile "you could have just told me."

Miyuki came and held his hands tightly "If only we were going then Tatsuya-sama would have to do all the work. This way we would have someone who could search paths, build camps, make food. This way we can spend more time together. In return, we can make sure they don't die."

Tatsuya patted her head "Fine, as you like."

Miyuki had a happy expression on her face.

And two days later.

When Miyuki, Ye Ziyun and Tatsuya came.

Chen Linjian and bunch had already been waiting in the Library.

Other than Chen Linjian, Shen Yue and Nie Li were also present. Chen Linjian belongs to the Divine Family and Shen Yue belongs to the Sacred Family. They have known each other since they were little. Therefore it's not surprising that they would come together to explore the Ancient Orchid City Ruins. Nie Li was the one they were surprised about.

"You also came?" Ye Ziyun looked at Nie Li with astonishment. This adventure was organized by Chen Linjian. Since when did Nie Li come in contact with Chen Linjian? It seems that she underestimated Nie Li.

"Yep," Nie Li smiled nodding his head. Then he looked over Tatsuya and Miyuki and nodded in greeting.

Seeing as Nie Li walking over, Shen Yue's face became more gloomy.

Miyuki looked at it and smiled and whispered to Tatsuya "Tatsuya-sama, it seems like that boy hasn't given up on our Ziyun."

Tatsuya looked at Shen Yue then looked at Nie Li "seems like something happened between those two."

Miyuki chuckled "I heard from Ziyun that Shen Yue was humiliated by Nie Li on road. He was also beaten by him in Library."

Tatsuya just shook his head "The only person worth paying attention to in Sacred Family is Shen Hong."

"Since you came on your own to die, then don't blame others!" Shen Yue ruthlessly thought while talking to one of his lackeys. The lackeys threw a glance at Nie Li and left the place. The two times that he suffered from Nie Li's hands allowed Shen Yue to understand that with the strength of bronze rank he wouldn't be able to do anything to Nie Li. So he got people to get some experts from home.

Nie Li sneered in his heart as all Shen Yue's action was seen by him.

Tatsuya and Miyuki also saw Shen Yue's action but didn't do anything. They were confident they will be able to protect everyone.

Chen Linjian's gaze fell onto Nie Li. He faintly smiled while saying," Okay! It seems we're all here. I think it's about time we set off!"

Chen Linjian brought a total of 28 people for their trip to Ancient Orchid City Ruins, Shen Yue brought 7 and furthermore adding Tatsuya, Miyuki, Ye Ziyun, and Nie Li.

All thirty-seven people prepared some essential items such as food, camping tents, and hunting crossbows before setting off.

Their adventure this time is done secretly, so it was very low-profile, telling others that they are going to the mountain valley to practice.
