Chapter 103 - Xiao Yu and Nether.

"I appeared in her room last night and used decomposition to erase poison, and used Elixir to heal her damaged body." Tatsuya had stayed in her memory, sometimes a servant, as a bodyguard, or other ways. He had changed his appearance; otherwise, she would have realized it was him.

Miyuki looked at him with confusion, "couldn't you have done that directly..." Suddenly, she widened her eyes, "You did it on purpose."

She continued as if she realized something, "You purposely said that Poison Immunity was a bestowment. You knew after hearing bestowment she wouldn't accept it. And you didn't ask for much in return for the second method. For better partnership, they wouldn't choose that unless necessary. You said the fourth method would be offensive, so it doesn't become too obvious that you want them to choose it?"

Tatsuya shook his head with a smile, "It was a bit offensive; after all, I did intrude her past and privacy. But, you are right; I thought I will get much more information from her past than those books."

Miyuki chuckled, "when you put it like that, it is more than a bit offensive."

"Anything else?" Tatsuya smiled as he looked at Miyuki.

Miyuki shook her head, "I can guess the other things."

She patted the sofa seat beside her, "will you tell me? What all you saw and learned?"

Tatsuya at the sofa, beside her before he started telling her about what he saw in Gu Lan's memories.

A Week Later,

In the morning,

Xiao Yu stepped out of her room, yawning; as soon as she went out, she almost bumped into Tatsuya.

Tatsuya easily avoided her and kept walking; she also didn't seem to mind, she kept walking. Until she saw another Tatsuya, then Miyuki, then Tatsuya, then Miyuki, Miyuki again, and Tatsuya.

She finally let out a breath of relief after she stepped out of her house.

Her house was filled with Tatsuya's and Miyuki's; some were cooking, some were busy with books. Some were busy doing Alchemy; some were making inscriptions, among other things.

The only place that wasn't a mess was the lawn in front of her courtyard, that was till yesterday.

"What are you doing?" She looked at Tatsuya and Miyuki in front of her.

Miyuki was currently standing in front of a canvas frame with a calligraphy brush in her hand. Tatsuya was standing behind her and holding her hand and guiding her, teaching her. As the heir of Yotsuba, she had classes with specialized tutors and learned different arts. She had introductory lessons on calligraphy too. The calligraphy here was distinctive; in some ways, it was more extensive, in some easier.

She didn't fret over Xiao Yu after hearing her question. She glanced at her, "of course, spending quality time together."

Xiao Yu's mouth twitched, 'but, you are always together, now in groups.' "Yes, of course." She knew these weren't all; some of them were roaming in the library, in cultivation halls, in inscription halls, in alchemy halls, in market.

She took a deep breath, "I want you to do your thing." She had been in a dilemma, for a long time, whether she should open up or not. She wanted to talk to her foster father, but it was hard to contact him. She could only do that months later once she goes to pick others up. But, she could take it any longer; seeing them work so hard, every day, every minute made her think of her stagnation. It had been 5 years since she had stagnated in this realm.

She wanted more, reach higher ranks too. She could see Tatsuya teaching Miyuki intent, even she hadn't studied that. She couldn't think why hadn't she? She had been stagnant for 5 years; she had more than enough time to learn all that. Get stronger in different ways? Maybe, she gave up on herself?

Tatsuya and Miyuki stopped; Miyuki smiled when she looked at Xiao Yu, "I thought this day would never come."

Tatsuya, who had been hugging Miyuki from behind as he guided her, stepped back, "are you sure?"

Xiao Yu was determined now; she didn't hesitate to say, "I am."

Tatsuya didn't make her wait; he used Elemental sight to watch every part of her information. The more he saw, the more amazed he became.

Xiao Yu embarrassedly put her hands over her body to cover it. She had lived clothed as a boy. Although she was famous. She wasn't used to this type of gaze.

Shortly after, Tatsuya stopped using Elemental Sight on her, "I think I know the problem, give me an hour, I can solve it. Also, give me your cultivation technique."

A cheerful look crept across Xiao Yu's face, "Really?"

Tatsuya reassured her with a smile, "Yes."

She stood straight while holding her fist tightly, but a soft smile on her face, "thank you."

"Do you know?" She looked at Tatsuya nervously.

Miyuki pulled back her hairs, "that you are a girl? We knew?"

Xiao Yu was taken aback; she had been expecting an answer from Tatsuya, not Miyuki, "what do you mean you knew?"

"The first time we met you, we knew," Tatsuya explained to her.

Xiao Yu had a confused expression on her face, "Why?" She wanted to ask if they knew why didn't they say anything?

Miyuki smiled mischievously, "we found it interesting, your efforts in hiding the fact that you are a girl."

Xiao Yu covered her face with her palm; she wanted to shout, 'that is not for you to enjoy.'

"Oh, dao!!!"

Miyuki giggled as she looked at Xiao Yu storm off.

Tatsuya smiled as he hugged Miyuki from behind, "you could have told her that we were waiting for her to come out on her own?"

Miyuki glanced back up at Tatsuya, "that would be no fun."

Tatsuya gazed at her before bending a little to kiss her as he whispered, "you are right, that would be no fun."

"mmm..." Miyuki moaned softly; she felt his arms roaming around her body, his fingers touching her naked skin. She pulled back and whispered, "We should take this inside."

Tatsuya's arm was inside Miyuki's dress, his palm brushed across her skin until it reached her breasts, "Should we?"

Miyuki inhaled sharply without replying to that question.

Tiny World, Nether Realm,

Nether Master was currently sitting in the Main Hall waiting for the guest.

The Main Hall was the place where he met people of other Families. It was a large hall, with bright lightings. There was a throne at the other end of the room, right opposite from the door.

There were many chairs placed in order facing the throne.

Nether Master had heard from his guard that Tatsuya had come to see him. He had a notion as to why it was so. That is why he chose to meet here, in the most protected room.

When Tatsuya walked in, he saw Nether Master sitting in the middle rows looking towards the throne. As if reminiscing something.

Tatsuya walked to him and sat beside him, "It's a pleasure to meet you again, Lord Nether."

"You don't have to be so formal; you are already stronger than me," Nether said.

Tatsuya shook his head, "I highly doubt that." He didn't believe that Nether was really just at Heavenly Fate Rank. He thought Nether might be hiding his real powers.

Nether laughed, "You are smart, but sometimes smartness might be the reason for your downfall. I truly am just a weak spiritual god."

"Is that so? then you just seem to have friends at high places."

Nether sighed, "Not really."

"Xiao Yu's parents?" Tatsuya asked while narrowing his eyes.

Nether halted for a second before continuing, "I had thought you might realize something, but to think you can tell so much."

"There are two auras inside her body; I suspected they are from her parent. Quite an intricate system; when she reaches a specific realm, those auras will help push her cultivation to a much higher rank. It is very much like a bloodline."

Nether sighed, "All I know is that they fought against the sage emperor; they were killed by him. Millions of years ago, they sent their child to this era; I don't know why. But, I did talk to them; I promised to take care of Xiao Yu. I treated her as my child, although I had to hide her identity as they wished."

Tatsuya ruminated on the information he heard; after a while, he spoke, "how long did they ask you to suppress her cultivation?" He had an idea of why Nether was trying to halt her cultivation. Once the aura of her parents awakens, Sage Emperor might be able to find her. If she had complete cultivation technique then her fate would be reaching the appropriate realm and awakening her parent's aura. This was the best way to stop it from happening.

"Until the person who can protect her from the Sage Emperor comes along." Nether paused here, "Do you think you are the one?"

A smile appeared on Tatsuya's face, "maybe."

Nether shook his head, "maybe, is not enough."

Tatsuya wondered about the situation; why did Xiao Yu's parents throw her in this period. Why select Nether as her foster father.

Maybe, there was a way to know.

A few hours later,

Xiao Yu was standing on the lawn, waiting for Tatsuya. He had said an hour, but it had been a few, and he wasn't telling her anything.

Just when she was wondering where he was, she felt something slash her shoulder.
