Gu Lan was walking around in her courtyard after Tatsuya pierced her. It seemed as if she had never been poisoned. She couldn't believe it at first, but later as she walked. It was like she never got poisoned, to begin with.
Gu Bei had a tear streaming down from his eyes as he saw his Elder sister walk again, fly again.
Gu Ya hiding in the shadows, had a gratified look on his face as he rubbed his beard.
Miyuki gazed at lively Gu Lan with a smile. Somehow, her cheerful atmosphere affected even her.
After a while, Gu Lan calmed down and stood in front of them. It seemed she didn't want to sit down so soon.
"My apologies, I have been rude." She politely apologized.
"That's ok, it's understandable. You have been on that chair for too long." Miyuki smiled as she reassured her.
Gu Lan looked at Tatsuya with interest, "how did you do that?"
Before Tatsuya could answer, she said again, "My apologies if I am being too intrusive?"
Tatsuya shook his head, "It's obvious you will be curious. But I can't tell you. Maybe later?"
Gu Lan guessed he meant if their partnership became firmer, then he might tell her.
She agreed with his cautiousness whatever he did was unbelievable.
"Why trust us so much?" She felt he revealed too much. They seemed to discipline to do that.
Tatsuya hesitated, "I trust her."
"Aha, that makes sense. The items are already on their way; if you would like anything, then please ask now." Gu Lan presented the offer if possible, she wanted to do more.
Miyuki looked towards Tatsuya; she knew by now Tatsuya would already have most of the information they need.
Tatsuya thought for a bit :
Weapons and Armors? They didn't need them.
Medicine or Alchemy Products? They didn't need any of that either.
Knowledge? They were getting it. Tatsuya already had a lot from Gu Lan's memories.
A place to live? He still wanted to stay with Xiao Yu for a while. She would act as the carrier of items for them.
Demon spirit, yes, they needed demon spirits. From what he learned, Dragon Bloodline Demon Spirits were superior to any other.
If they had enough Demon Spirits, they could create many God Tier Growth Rate and send them back to the Glory City.
"Demon spirits, I would like you to use all of the spirit stones of our share to buy the Demon Spirits; the growth rate doesn't matter. In fact, try to buy those with lower growth rates. We need more quantity rather than quality."
"Demon Spirits worth all your share?" Gu Lan thought she heard it wrong. Wait! "What is your share?" They hadn't discussed a share till now.
"50-50," Tatsuya told her, what he wanted.
Not only Gu Lan, but even Miyuki was also startled by this decision. They had decided 80-20 or 90-10. Although she wanted to say something, she didn't stop him; something must have changed with the new information he got.
Gu Lan shook her head, "that is too much."
Gu Bei was silently nudging Gu Lan to accept it.
"It would be favorable for us if you can build a much powerful force. You will need it if you want to stand against Gu Heng, and it would be helpful to us too. Take this as an investment, how about ten years with these terms, and after ten years, we can change the share to 80-20?" Tatsuya had seen her memories. He knew of their troubles and enemies. The faster they could rise to power, the better. He knew them, understood them, better than maybe themselves. He understood why Ying Yueru said they could be trusted.
Gu Lan accepted that offer after a bit of thought.
But, Gu Bei interrupted them, "Wait, you do remember that we cannot sell these swords all the time? What are you going to provide?"
Gu Lan glanced at Gu Bei harshly, "Sorry about his rudeness."
Tatsuya shook his head, "He is right." Tatsuya bought a few things from the store. Others didn't notice, since if need be, Tatsuya and Miyuki could control the system screen with their mind. But, they usually like to use their hands.
He took out a few potions that he bought from Hydaelyn and other worlds; he put them on the table.
"These are?" Gu Bei looked at them with shining eyes. He knew they had great things.
Gu Lan also looked at them curiously.
Tatsuya pointed at the green potion, "this will restore injuries."
He picked up a blue one, "this will restore Heavenly Energy."
He picked up the red one, "this increases strength temporarily."
"The purple one increases dexterity, the bluish-grey one increases the attack power of combat techniques. Other than those, I have recipes of dishes and techniques to bring out certain effects from them to offer."
Tatsuya took out a pizza and placed it in front of them, "You should try it."
Gu Bei didn't mind any manners; he snatched and took a bite before anyone else, "It smells delicious. It tastes even better." He could feel it melting in his mouth; he wanted to take more, but Gu Lan slapped his hand, "first, tell me how is the effect."
Gu Bei rubbed his hand as he looked at Gu Lan pitifully, "I feel my body is tougher, both in body and mind." He did feel his body become mightier, but it still hurt him. After all, Gu Lan was much stronger than him.
Gu Lan nodded before taking a bite herself, "Mmmmm..." after swallowing, she opened her eyes with a blush on her face. But, soon, she was startled, "I feel stronger."
Tatsuya nodded while leaning back, "I don't think anyone has a monopoly over food that gives a temporary boost in power."
Gu Lan said while in a daze, "How long will this last."
"Should last for half an hour or more." people usually brought their food with them as they traveled.
Gu Lan smiled, "Half an hour is more than enough for a fight. Are there other foods with other effects?"
"I am not sure; I need time to re-create those potions and foods with materials that are available in the Draconic Ruins Realm. It might take a few weeks. But, as I recreate items and foods, I will forwards them to you."
Gu Lan let out a breath of relief, "then, I don't think there is anything else I want to ask."
Tatsuya took Miyuki's hand before getting up, "then, if you need anything, just call for us."
"Yes, and you can ask us for anything you want. It might take a few days before we could give you the spiritual stones and demon spirits. As for the items promised, we will deliver them to you. Elder will arrange for temporary permission to enter and use the facilities, but you must pass the test to extend them." They needed to decide whom to sell and how to sell. As for the permission, this was the most they could do.
Tatsuya was about to leave with Miyuki when he suddenly remembered something.
He took out two black robes, "these will help your hide your aura entirely; with this, you may go out without worrying about anyone finding out."
Gu Lan was astonished hearing this, she wanted to go out, but she knew that hiding the fact that she has been cured; from her enemies and use this time to increase her forces would be better. But, at the same time, she desired to go out after three years. Although they had something similar, it made them invisible.
To think Tatsuya would be emphatic and smart enough to realize her predicament, "Thank You!"
Tatsuya turned to leave with Miyuki. As they walked, Miyuki turned her head to wave to Gu Lan.
After Tatsuya and Miyuki reached their room, Miyuki couldn't hold back anymore; she had a belly full of questions.
Tatsuya knew she wanted to ask a lot of things, "Ask."
Miyuki looked conflicted, "I don't know where to begin."
Tatsuya gently rubbed her arms and shoulder before making her sit down. He knelt down on one knee in front of her, "ask anything you like."
"Why suggest equal shares?" they were in dire need of spiritual stones they had decided 80-20. Miyuki thought it must have something to with what Tatsuya saw in her memory.
"I saw the information of Deity Lakes; they absorb a large amount of Heavenly Energy from the surrounding and produce Spiritual Stones."
"So, now that we know about them, they should appear in System Store? and we can use them together with that treasure to create a large number of spiritual stones. Since we won't need to send the Spiritual Stones to Glory City, it would decrease our demand. Is that it?" Miyuki knew that items that they knew about would become available for sale. Which did explain why Tatsuya made it a 50-50 deal.
She relaxed after knowing that; she looked at Tatsuya curiously, "How did you cure her?" She knew Tatsuya's new ability; it awakened from his bloodline after coming in contact with Temporal Demon Spirit Page. When they entered the Draconic Ruins Realm, Tatsuya got the bookmark as the reward. The bookmark made it easier for Tatsuya to use the ability he awakened. Although Miyuki felt what she got was much more valuable.
She even thought that System was compensating since she put Yin Release on hold. Not accepting or rejecting it. Although, if she received Yin Release now, she would be profiting. At the same time, System might have realized she wouldn't do that?
She shook her head, throwing these thoughts aside.
Tatsuya's new ability allowed him to manipulate someone's past and, through that, their memories.
What she wanted to know was how he manipulated Gu Lan's past.
