As he was trying to wrap around his head on what was going on, a blue screen appeared in front of him showing his body parameters as a Status. Rapid Level Up

[Energy Points +1000]

Meng Tian was stunned silly by this unexpected surprise. He immediately checked upon all the items on his Status Screen. He first added 10 points to his Strength to remove his fatigue instantly. It raised the Strength stat by 0.1, the total value being 1.2. He felt the energy coursing through his body and regained all of his lost strength. His face regained its rosy color and he looked towards Principal Ren eager for more.

"Now, now, don't be greedy. It is not something that is easily manufactured. So, it is limited in supply. But, you have a chance to obtain a steady supply of it when you join college in two years. Now that I have seen your performance, I am required to report it to the senior officials of the government and the military."

"Haha... Don't worry, they are very considerate to talents like yours. They will even compete fair and square for you to join them after graduation. As you are already very near to the standards required to become a full-fledged Martial Apprentice, you can take your time to decide which college you want to join."

Meng Tian was intrigued by the prospects but he did not want to leave his home. His plan had always been to join a college nearby and finish his degree to go work in his parents' company. Although that he had transmigrated, this thought had not changed. 'Let me just go home and think about it then. Hmm... All of these Energy Points, I need to see how to use them more efficiently.'

Teacher Tiao was standing beside them the entire time, completely uninterested in their entire dialogue. 'Looks like, there's more to her story than just being a military soldier posted as a school instructor.' Meng Tian stopped thinking and asked Principal Ren more about the recovery serum. Principal Ren brushed past the issue saying that he would know more about them in time anyway.

Meng Tian left the training area, took a shower and started to walk back home. He passed by the children's park and went into a nearby supermarket. After seeing the effect of the recovery serum from before, he thought of trying out different things to see what items could provide him with Energy Points. His daily allowance limited his budget, so he selected a set of things to try out, bought them and continued walking home.

It was close to 7 PM when he leisurely arrived at home. However, he did not notice a shadow following him from far away. It disappeared after Meng Tian entered his house.

Meanwhile, Principal Ren had just finished sending all of Meng Tian's Physical Fitness and Martial Technique tests to his fellow officials. He was one of the Martial Generals and was only below the strongest known Martial Wargods of the current world. So, he had a lot of sway in decisions.

But he wanted the top brass to know of Meng Tian's abilities so that he could walk on a much smoother path towards becoming a Wargod. Although the possibility of becoming a Wargod was close to impossible for most, he had hope that Meng Tian could do it.

Meng Tian did not know Principal Ren's expectations for him, but even if he knew he would probably not bother much about it. Because, he had much bigger problems to worry about like increasing his strength and making sure people don't find out about his soul not being from this world.

He never found out how the Meng Tian of this world had died. He didn't acquire any memories as such. He just naturally woke up and had been clueless for about half a day before finding out that he had transmigrated. He just assumed that this world's Meng Tian had a heart attack or something like that which killed him. Because there had been no problems in Meng Tian's life and it was a very peaceful one.

On the table in front of Meng Tian, there were a couple of items laid in a sequence. He was trying to find out what would happen if he ate something other than what is considered as normal human food. He knew that food with high calorie density gave him a good amount of Energy Points and that energy serum gave him much more than that.

So, he first started with a simple item... some vegetable oil... he wanted to try kerosene but didn't have enough money. He filled a water cup with 100 ml of vegetable oil and drank it in a gulp. It tasted slightly sweet similar to the flavor of tofu.

[Energy Point +1]

"Success!... but I need to drink a hundred liters of vegetable oil to get the same Energy Points as that of a single recovery serum. Even though it is easily available, hundred liters is still a lot. Hmm... On to the next..."

Meng Tian continued his experiments consuming Fish oil, glucose, a AAA battery, etc. No matter the item, there was always only a single Energy Point generated. He started to think back to the times when he got more than one point after eating food. He realized that it happened when he ate meat rather than when he consumed vegetables.

And also of course when he drank the recovery serum... But he could not understand why this was happening. He thought for some time but he could not help frown when he realized that his mouth tasted really bad.

He had a total of 1018 points of which he used 20 to increase his Strength and Intelligence by 0.1 each. It immediately refreshed both his body and mind.

[Strength +0.1]

[Intelligence +0.1]

After that, he turned his attention to his skills. He ignored his knowledge type skills (his school courses) and concentrated on his basic martial skills, especially the Basic Sword skill. He straight away used a 100 points to level it up.

[Sword Lv.2 (Intermediate) (0/100)]

Just as he did that, there was a sudden burst of information inside his mind detailing the intricacies of the sword and he even felt a slight pain in his consciousness due to the heavy transfer of information. After about ten minutes, the level up was finished but his forehead was covered in sweat and he was still feeling some pain.

He was fascinated by the transfer of information which made him feel like he had practiced the Sword for more than year and had reached the Intermediate level in the skill. But he was concerned by the fact that his brain did not seem to have enough capacity to accept the huge volume of information easily.

So, if he tried to level up any of his other skills, his brain might explode. He thought about the problem deeply and tried to see if increasing his intelligence could do the trick. He used 90 Energy Points to increase his Intelligence to 2.0.

[Intelligence +0.9]

As he did so, he began to understand more of the intricacies of his already accumulated Experiences, Skills and Talents. However increase in the analyzing and understanding capacity of his mind did not imply that learning new skills would be easy. It did seem that he needed to increase his Spirit Stat to solve this problem.

To be on the safe side, he gradually increased the Spirit Stat by adding 10 Energy Points each time. Meng Tian thought that it would be painful but it was like normal and his Soul inside his consciousness space started to turn more solid. He instantly understood that this had been the limiting factor in upgrading more of his skills.

Meng Tian kept on adding points to the Spirit stat to see what kind of a limit he could reach at that point in time. After spending 300 Energy Points, he felt like his body could not hold such a powerful soul if he kept adding more points.

[Spirit +3]

Therefore, he shifted his focus to Strength and started adding points to it. He added 170 Energy Points to it before he felt his body becoming heavier. He tried to move his body but could not, which was not what he had expected to happen. He thought for a while and this time he added a 100 Energy Points to his Agility Stat.

He could immediately move his body albeit with a little bit of difficulty. It was only then that he understood that increasing a single Stat way ahead of others would have a negative effect on the body's condition. So, he added another 100 Energy Points to Agility and stopped there.

[Strength +1.7]

[Agility +2]

He got up from his chair and started familiarizing himself with his new strength. There were no problems with movement at all. Although he did not add any points to his Speed stat, he did not feel that it would hinder him that much currently. He then moved on to the most mysterious thing that he had yet to understand, the Elemental Water Affinity Talent.
