Chapter-III- Two Weeks Later....
Due to heavy rain conditions, classes hadn't yet started for the two weeks, so Ren had plenty of time to figure out whatever the fuck that pop-up was. His dorm was X-2, near the south-eastern corner of the Academy. For the past two weeks, he had training, learning and re-learning about this 'system' from the voice he had heard during his initial response to the pop-up, a voice that went by the moniker Draig.
Draig, or Daigon was the previous 'Infernal Lord', a title given to the highest of demons. Basically, Heaven, Earth and Hell existed in three, completely different planes. Every thousand years, the demons selected a new Infernal Lord if the previous one was dead or missing. Draig had died more than 500 years ago, but had concealed his soul into the Earthly plane, waiting for the perfect individual to pass his power to. The grey wolf that had scratched him, both in his dreams and his actual body, as him, passing his power on to him. As for the system, if he passed all of his power on to him at once, Ren would instantly explode into atomic levels of minority, hence, he designed his powers to make it easier for his human body to adapt to it, and to make giving Ren quests easier.
Over the last two weeks, he had learned quite a lot, and had earned much XP by completing the daily quest over and over again. This had slowly started to build his body, though he still had a bit of a road to go before he leveled up to level one.

"Phew, Even after all that grinding, I still have a long way to go." He said to himself while returning to his empty dorm.
Nearing the door, he heard voices, someone cursing, and exchanging of hellos. Instantly he knew what was happening. "Oh, shit. Roommates?"
He turned to corner to see two young men, both 16 years. One had curly blonde hair and freckles on his cheeks, whilst the other had brown hair and dark eyes. Nervously, Ren walked up to the one with blonde hair, and said- "Hello"
The boy turned to see him, clearly surprised, before a gentle smile crept up on his face.
"Ren Talen, I presume? I'm John Payne, and this is my best friend Alex Hall. Nice to meet you!"
"Uh.. how do you know my name?" Ren asked, puzzled. Draig also chimed in- "And what the heck is the deal with that aura?!?"
Ren looked down to his power band, and instantly froze.
"21,567!?! What the actual fuck?!??" he cursed in his mind.
"Oh" said John. "I had a list of all the students and their dorms. That's how I know"
"He must be from an important family" Ren thought. He should check his ranking in the Datapad.
The Datapad was an electronic device allowing students to do basically whatever they could do in an ancient IOS device, monitored by the school. It also had a school map, school rules, and rankings for all students based on their power level displayed by the power band, which converts physical and magical aptitude and adds them together to display it.
Just then, the school announcement voice rang throughout the compound. It carried the message- "All students to report to their dorms by 6:00. Classes to begin tomorrow. Time Tables are posted on the public section of the Datapad."
