Kamui Vs Esya'r

"Haha, what a devastating attack. It looked like you split the space apart. Cutting through the air and the atmosphere." Esya'r laughed nervously, for he had witnessed Kamui's world-splitter.

The slash caused such tremendous damage that the entire island had been cut in half, as well as the whole place that was within the slash of Kamui. The ocean had split to the point where they could see the floor of the ocean. The water from the ocean that was split felt like it had been erased by Kamui's slash. The ocean collided again, creating a giant wave. The slash was vertically perfect and made a narrow, straight line from the ground to the sea.

This left Esya'r's left arm severed by the attack. It made it so unbelievable that Kamui possessed such strength and the power of destruction.

"You're lucky to dodge. If it hadn't been for one inch of a movement, your body would have been completely severed just like your left arm."

"(He's not wrong. If it hadn't been for me to dodge that attack, it would've been much more fatal.)" Esya'r spoke in his thoughts, agreeing with what Kamui said.

Kamui exhaled and sheathed his blade while waiting for something.

"I know you have more than that. It's been a while since I've removed my blade and used my magic, exerting myself to defeat a strong man like you. As you said, get it together!" Kamui began smiling as he was thrilled to fight with Esya'r.

"I'm honored. Though, this isn't all that I've had. THIS IS!" Esya'r's mana began to surge, and his aura darkened as he increased his power.

Kamui observed that his severed arm had entirely recovered, and noticed that he was keeping his full power on hold. Esya'r's hair color changed from white to black as a result of his power-up. After sensing such terrifying power, Akira and Yeru claimed that his mana was off the charts.

After 7 seconds of his transformation, Esya'r changed his appearance differently. His hair changed into black and his skin went grey from white. His eyes were completely crimson and glowed like light. Kamui soon knew that he had changed into a dark elf.

After he had transformed, Kamui soon discovered something unique about Esya'r.

"I see, so you have been empowered by despair. You've truly despised humans, I take it." Kamui noticed something after that he had transformed, the flowers, the grass, and the trees became withered during his transformation. From what Kamui saw in him, his power came from his strong emotion.

"Yes. This is because of you humans for creating my despair. My anguish. My suffering. AND MY LOSSES!" Esya'r confirmed that he was in despair and gained strength from it. He blamed the humans for giving him power from despair.

"Then why join the Mikadzuki? They too are humans."

"I do not care. I desired peace and freedom, just like they did. I do not care if they die or so on to trouble me, but once I have attained what I desire, anything could be worth more than any diamond."

"So, what made you go this far in attaining those you desire?"

"In my homeland, there was a war that had continued for over 500 years. Elves and humans were never meant to be together. They declared themselves to be the protectors of their country, while we had been portrayed as monsters with great power who would one day seize the country and fight the gods they worshipped. What a silly fairy tale. They are the real monsters. Obsessions in power, the cause of havoc, destruction, and fear. All is done by those humans. I want to obliterate them and protect my home! Those accursed insignificant lowly beings! THEY MUST PAY!" Esya'r told his story about what he had experienced in his home.

Akira heard his story and remembered what Rakyu said about the Elysian empire as they were obsessed with power. It was now revealed, that Esya'r was from Elysia.

Kamui went straight to the end of his misery after he finished talking about himself. Kamui came right in front of Esya'r with incredible speed as he held the handle of his blade.

Once unsheathed, he then tried to chop his head off to end him in an instant. However, Esya'r had disappeared as he turned into an afterimage, smiling at Kamui. Esya'r's speed left Kamui shocked at how fast he had become, his powers skyrocketed to further heights in every aspect. Right as Kamui blinked, Esya'r approached behind him, trying to stab him with his twin blades. 

Kamui dodged his attack and countered to his neck. Esya'r then dodged by ducking his head below the blade after Kamui had attempted to slice him.

Kamui stepped forward and launched a second attack by striking vertically down. No sooner had Esya'r dodged than he blew him away with a kick that launched him further out of the island.

Right after Kamui crashed into the ground from being launched far by Esya'r, he got up with a bloody mouth. He wiped his mouth and soon as he saw himself bleeding again, his blood began rushing with excitement as the adrenaline kicked in.

Never before had he been beaten to the point of bleeding and gone all-in on one foe. Kamui transferred his spatial magic to the blade as he approached Esya'r. 

Esya'r then finally used both of his twin blades as he separated them into two, feeling too amped about the fight. 

"Forget the mission, I'll be having fun toying with you!" As Esya'r jumped to go to the next island where Kamui was, the whole ground was shattered.

As he got closer, right before the blade went through Kamui's skull, Kamui teleported.

[SPATIAL MAGIC: MIRROR TWINS]

Kamui duplicated himself into two, from the right of Esya'r and the left. Their movements were strikingly similar as Kamui held his blade while moving the blade to the back of his shoulder.

Kamui then channeled his spatial magic onto the blade to create a slash. Both his real and duplicated selves were in sync with their movements. Both launched a slash from the left and the right; however, Esya'r easily dodged them by jumping up.

After he had jumped, the slash collided completely, causing a colossal explosion that almost destroyed the entire island. It was called synchro fission, where the fusion between the elements from another dimension's duplication combined and split apart with the real dimension.

This could cause a dimensional level of explosion, where both dimensions collide. Since it was only a mere space slash, it also caused a massive explosion.

Esya'r couldn't escape from the blast and so he was caught by it. The damage ended up being fatal for him as the explosion was tremendous. After being on the ground after he had jumped up from the explosion, Esya'r remained calm.

Esya'r finally figured that Kamui could create a dimensional duplicate as he thought his duplication was from a mirror dimension.

From what he noticed, Kamui's space-bending slash caused the ground to be erased and all objects who were near.

Eventually, he started staying away from the explosion that would erase his existence.

Kamui repeated his attack once more, but this time by duplicating himself to an even greater number, encircling Esya'r. It made Esya'r unable to escape from the attack that would erase him whole.

Esya'r clenched two of his blades and faced them oppositely in an attempt to create an attack on all of his surroundings. 

He wildly spin, creating a windstorm that brought havoc to the whole area. While Esya'r tried to halt Kamui's attack, Kamui began his attacks without waiting a second.

Kamui's assaults were negated as the ground shook his equilibrium, thanks to Esya'r's enormous windstorm. The enormous tornado wreaked havoc on everything within 300 meters of it, including Kamui.

Esya'r launched his slashes all around as he whirled and created the whirlwind. Kamui was slashed and had a cut wound as a result. Not only could he rip the place apart, but he could also kill Kamui in a matter of seconds with his slash, which could rip him to shreds.

Kamui was later pushed back but survived the tornado by swapping places with an object. He swapped places with the rock he discovered from afar using his space magic. Luckily, he was able to detect the rock before the winds blinded him in fractions of a second.

He would have been transformed into cubes by now if it hadn't been for that rock. Because the rocks inside the tornado couldn't endure the force and would crumble to dust, he took a chance by seeing nearby rocks from a distance away from the tornado.

Kamui had rarely felt the adrenaline rush of this battle. With blood and cuts on his body, he became solemn, making his entire aura menacing.

He summoned his weapon by shouting his system.

"System! Give me my blade, Shinigami!"

A second blade then appeared out of nowhere, and he grabbed it. Akira and Yeru witnessed the aura coming from the blade. It whispered incoherently in their heads as they saw the blade. Akira was the only one who felt the blade had a quivering presence, making his eyes quiver.

The Shinigami blade was passed down by Makoto to Kamui as his successor. The blade was quite scary and was rumored to be a god-killing blade.

As Esya'r finally stopped his own attack, he saw Kamui's blade was much different and had a unique feeling coming from it. They then continued on to the second round of their fights.
