A spar between The Vlahadeer and the Tingkaran

"Hmm, you look like someone I'm familiar with. Starting with your hair... Tell me your name, boy." Tor felt familiar with Kazoru's hair; it reminded him of his previous students.

Tor indeed looked like an old man as explained by Sazoru. He didn't wear any shirt on, reminding Kazoru of Sazoru's habit. He had long white hair and a short white beard. His body was well developed from an old man.

"Kazoru Honomi Vlahadeer," Kazoru answered Vlahadeer, and it surprised Tor. Tor was in disbelief at the moment and replied.

"Wait a minute, you're their son? I thought they were siblings." For a moment, he believed they had kids with each other, without any news that they had a son.  

"Wait, no, I'm their nephew." 

"Ah, you scared me there." Tor finally sighed after hearing the truth. He then asked what brought Kazoru here. Kazoru answered that he needed to train in martial arts. Strength wasn't his primary power, so he needed to train his agility more to gain mobility with his flames. Every fire mage had less control over their flames and, at times, they would waste their mana in such a short time. Fire mage required a large risk of their usage.

Tor accepted his request and told Kazoru to wait. Tor stretched out after meditating for 2 hours and finally went down. He told both of them to follow him, and so they followed Tor. Tor led them to a safe place where they could not destroy the whole forest and his favorite meditation spot. 

Tor led them into a giant round area, a place perfect for training, sparring, and more. No trees were spotted, only mountains and canyons. Going from this place took 21 minutes because of how far and wide the forest was.

Tor grabbed a spear and handed it over to Sayu. Tor told Kazoru that he would face Sayu one-on-one. Kazoru responded, "no." He didn't want to hurt Sayu after learning she didn't have a main ability or system. It made Sayu pout at him for underestimating her. Tor then explained that he had very well trained her, or, should he say, his last student. She honed the acrobatic skills of her family. One could be strong with or without their main ability if they were sufficiently trained. Though supposedly, warriors weren't technically humans anymore, but more like superhumans. This also applied to those who came from a lineage as well.

There was no point in underestimating now. He had already taught her many of his techniques, so she could survive on her own against people who could use magic.

Sayu prepared herself and held her spear tight while Kazoru ignited his flames with a nervous face. He was still in disbelief and didn't trust what Tor just said. Sayu noticed Kazoru was slacking in defense and he didn't even start a movement. Sayu then marched on with her spear. Her speed was fast, but Kazoru was able to react to her moves.

She front-flipped herself and tried to strike Kazoru from above. Kazoru shielded himself by coating his arms with fire, blocking the attack. 

Kazoru was shocked as well, that he could feel a sting from her attack. Sayu backed away and requested Kazoru to hit her. Sayu said so with bravery and daring in her eyes, making Kazoru a bit brave to use his flames. 

Kazoru accepted her request and ignited his flame to the point where the air moved like gas. 

[FIRE MAGIC: SYLVA ROAR]

Kazoru fired his flames at Sayu. Sayu quickly reacted, then spun her spear in her front and made his fire disappear like the wind. Kazoru was very impressed as it left him flabbergasted. The flame he unleashed was massive, and yet it disappeared like air. It seemed that she owned a technique that was taught by Tor. Kazoru, after knowing she could fight, got serious now. Kazoru's flames roared, and his mana surged within him. 

Tor noticed Kazoru's power as impressive, yet he said, "What a waste." indicating that he had potential but wasted it. Tor just silently folded his arms and knew who would be the winner. Kazoru charged forward like a jet as the flames from his feet blasted him. 

Sayu did a side-flip right before he hit her with his kick after blasting himself like a rocket. Sayu, in mid-air, kicked Kazoru right in the face. Kazoru then started falling because of his blast, bumping into a rock pillar.

"Reckless" Tor judged every Kazoru's moves and doings. He was a bit disappointed and felt nostalgic back when Sazoru fought with Tor. Kazoru started bleeding from his nose as his head was still damaged after he was kicked and launched unconscious. Kazoru wiped every blood from his face as he started to regain consciousness of himself and used a technique from his arsenal.

[FIRE MAGIC: SPHERE OF PYRONUS]

Kazoru lifted his hands and started creating a ball of flame. He condensed a huge amount of flame into a large sphere, similar to Sazoru back when he almost destroyed Celesta.

"His flame is still unstable. Small, weak, and a waste of time. Creating that would make an enemy strike the chance as his opponent stayed on pause." Tor muttered and stated that Kazoru was still inexperienced in controlling his flames. Kazoru's ball of flame was 25 meters in diameter, while Sazoru's was at least 31.2 times larger.

Kazoru threw his ball at Sayu. Sayu didn't flinch. She just stepped forward. She spun her spear with style and started jumping towards the flame. Kazoru called her crazy for jumping into such a dangerous situation. Sayu screamed and repelled Kazoru's ball of flame back at him with little struggle.

"Eh?" Kazoru responded in disbelief that she surprisingly repelled his ball of flame. Kazoru was hit, and Kazoru was burned as his skin turned brown. 

"Enough, the winner goes to the Tingkaran girl. You should be ashamed of yourself for disgracing your royal name, Vlahadeer. Be defeated by a girl, and look at you, kneeling on the ground. You are no different from Sazoru. "

"Hmm? He was like me? "

"Yes, defeated by Kitsune, she honed such great feats in agility, making Sazoru taste a shameful defeat."

"Wait, how did you train him? Was he clumsy?"

"Why, of course. He couldn't lift boulders properly while walking in the mountains, and he fell off a cliff after that. Next, I told him to walk with his hands, yet he fell off a cliff again. I threw him into the forest and asked him to bring dinner. He was a bloody mess after that, and the meat was burned and destroyed."

"Oh yeah, my uncle had a scar on his left eye. Does it related to that training?" Kazoru wanted to know the epic story of the scar from Sazoru's left eye. He was overly curious about the story. However, Sazoru did tell his story about the scar, and so he needed to know the story in detail from his previous master.

"Pfft, It was a cat." Tor started laughing because of the unexpected question. He then answered the truth behind his scar.

"What?!" Kazoru stood in disbelief and went into deep silence after hearing the true story. The story was that he fought massive dragons which made his scar a sign of his bravery. But yet, the truth was that he was scarred by a cat.

"Fought bears, rhinos, and beasts, but yet, was scarred by a tiny feline that he tried to pet. What a joke, however, it did make me laugh."

[Meanwhile, at Sazoru's headquarters]

Sazoru's pen suddenly broke while he was writing, right at the same time as Kazoru and Tor were talking about Sazoru. Sazoru was accompanied by Haru and happened to work and chat together.

"Something happened?"

"No, I'm just fine. I felt a sudden, odd feeling that someone was talking about me."

"Nonsense, you're just overworking yourself."

"Unlike you, your brother didn't help me. Instead, he went on a date. And as a result, this happens. I'll cut his paycheck later. "

"Hahaha"

Back to Kazoru now, Kazoru was then told that he needed to improve his weak points. There were many too. From his moves, his control over his magic, and his recklessness. Many of them, he would later explain.

Right after he was explaining Kazoru's weakness, He sensed an animal crying out in distress. 

"Poachers!" Tor let his guard down and failed to protect his place. Tor shouted to Kazoru and Sayu to help him and fight the poachers. Both Kazoru and Sayu followed Tor to save the animals.
