Liam, with some anger, began to run across the roof of the building with his gun in hand. It was at that moment that the dawn light dazzled him a bit.
But he didn't have time to enjoy the sunrise as the building began to shake before part of the roof collapsed to the ground below.
Liam then began to slide down the concrete as if it were a slide. Turning his head from side to side, he could see a fire hose on his right side.
So, with all his might, he imposed himself and managed to hold the fire hose before it fell to the ground.
Gritting his teeth, he could see how in the distance a person was preparing to throw a self-propelled grenade where he was.
So he began to move the hose from one side to the other to gain momentum to reach an area of the building that had not collapsed.
When he turned his head, he could see the trail of light coming out of the RPG, so he pushed himself with all his might and jumped.
While he was in the air, he could feel a shock wave on his back, which helped him fall to the ground on the top floor of the building.
When he tried to lift, he felt a pain in his left leg and in his stomach, so when he lowered his head, he realized that there was a piece of metal in his stomach while in his left leg there was a piece of concrete.
Ignoring the pain in his stomach, he used his hand to scoop out the chunk of concrete on his left leg.
The pain he felt was horrible, but luckily the muscle had saved his bone so he could walk.
As he removed the piece of concrete, he took a bandage from his black vest and began to create a tourniquet over the wound to prevent bleeding.
When he finished, he sighed and looked around to find something that would help him walk. Fortunately, he could see a piece of wood, which he took and used as a makeshift crutch to walk.
It was at that moment that he could hear footsteps coming from the ladder room, so he gritted his teeth and looked for his weapon, but realized that he had nothing more than two grenades.
One fragmentation and another incendiary. Because of the steps coming from the stairs, he took his fragmentation grenade from his belt and unhooked the safety.
"1,2 ..."
Before counting to three, he threw it over the entrance of the stairs; it was then that an explosion and some screams could be heard.
Taking advantage of that moment, he walked towards the entrance of the stairs and could see a group of 4 people with Ak47 dead because of the grenade.
Without wasting time, Liam took one of the weapons from the corpses, as well as all the ammunition and grenades he could take.
Then he could feel a hand on his shoulder, so when he turned around he could see Milena naked, smiling at him. Liam felt that maybe he was having post-traumatic stress because he could see Milena.
Milena laughed and started walking to one of the corpses to take his clothes. Liam looked at her with some uncertainty. "How did you survive?"
Milena shook her head while putting on a pair of pants. "I didn't. That missile killed me, but as I told you, I can't die.
When they destroy me like that, it took only a few minutes to recover. The problem is that, as you can see, I am naked. "
After putting on a jacket, she search among the corpses for boots that will fit her. "Although I should be the one who asked you how you survived, most people would be dead or dying."
Liam just sighed and pointed to the glass on his stomach and his left leg. Milena used her hand to cover her mouth as she laughed.
"You call that wounds. All I see are two nice scars, which will look great once they heal.
You're not going to bleed to death as long as you don't take that glass off, so stop complaining.
Well, we have to move on because we already lost a lot of time with these mercenaries. "
Liam took a deep breath and started to follow Milena. "Why we don't have reinforcements and don't they plan to do something for these people who have such dangerous weapons in the country."
Milena raised her shoulders and spread her hands. "I am the reinforcement, in terms of weapons, nothing that a manufactured reality cannot fix.
Maybe a gas leak or a group of teenagers set off fireworks. I don't know anything to justify the explosions.
You should have done similar missions, but most likely your complaints are that you did them outside the country.
I guess it's my turn to tell you that Santa Claus doesn't exist. The security that the government talks so much about never existed in the first place.
Humans are experts at doing stupid things that can end their lives and werewolves are experts at creating destruction wherever they happen.
Those accidents that you see on TV are 80% collateral victims of something deeper than what actually happens.
But you can't tell people that a group of werewolves took over a nuclear power plant and threaten to overload the reactor or that the terrorist on duty entered a school with his accomplices and killed a group of children.
That creates fear, and fear is the preamble to chaos. None of the civilians can handle the truth, even you cannot handle it and you are a trained person.
What I'm telling you is just the tip of the iceberg of how screwed up this world is. What you're seeing for me is a day in the park.
When you see the reality of the hell we are living in, I hope you understand that things are deeper than they appear.
You can only accept the truth or refuse to accept the truth, but you cannot change the truth because you will realize that you or I.
We are only part of the macabre game that takes place every day and in which we are participants, whether we like it or not. "
