As the substance started to purify the bloodline something strange happened. The bloodline started to react as if it had met a horrible poison.

Aether POV

After traveling through the forest for several days with his twin sister Lumine, they had discovered a mysterious ruin. The ruin seemed devastated. He and Lumine decided to camp nearby and see of there was a danger in the ruin. After a week they noticed no living creatures went near the ruin. Even if they forcibly threw a boar in there, the boar would run away from the ruin.

Lumine said "We have to go into their, brother" As she looked into the mysterious ruins nervously twisting her hair. "Yeah, there seems to be no other choice" Aether sighed. After discovering the mysterious ruin, they had searched the surrounding area to try and find a way to escape this world. But when they attempted to leave the forest, a strange power would through them back inside the forest.

Aether and Lumine stood there quietly as the sun rose, creating a beautiful landscape as the mist slowly started to clear and reveal the ruin. "Aether, do you think we will be able to find our h-" Lumine started to ask before being cut off by Aether "Yes, we will find it. Don't worry" His eyes being reflecting the beautiful sunrise displayed confidence.

"Now then, let us go, shall we?" Asked Aether as he stood up and offered his hand to Lumine. "Yes" Lumine said " let's go."

They slowly walked towards the ruins with their sword ready. When they reached the inside of the ruin a mechanism seemed have activated. A platform slowly rose holding several human-like robots that seemed deactivated. "How are their Ruin Guards here??" Whispered Lumine to her brother. "I don't know. But they seem very dangerous." Whispered Aether back as they slowly approached the human like robots (Ruin Guard) preparing to attack.
