Award Show

We spend months of promoting and performing in different music shows. It's tough. We need to stand out from all the artists who are mostly our seniors. Hundreds of artists are struggling to be on top. Some have their names already known around the globe, some loosing their popularity, others remain as it is since debut and no development, some are quitting losing hope for their dreams.

All faces are handsome and pretty. All are talented. In this industry, I realized that those things are not enough. People look for something new and unique.

Can we be something too?

We are wearing black suit and ties. Looking all formal for this evening. All artist gather for this show. This is the first Awarding ceremony that we will attend. Lots of entertaining performances will be presented by different groups in every agency. This is also an opportunity to make lots of exposures to gain more fans.

I think we are nominated in "Best rookie category" seeing these talented groups around us making me feel like we are far from the real meaning of success.

We are in a big company but there are more artist on our company that debut before us. We "Moon Whale" still have lots of things to learn.

"Oh! Sunrise seniors!" I pointed. We all bowed. They are from our company too and they just debuted 8 months ago. Their songs are really amazing and catching.

They bowed too and gave us hugs. We see them perform and We practice some of their songs and dances too.

After a few minutes of greetings they went straight to their assigned seats.

The award show started making the crowd wild as the winners are one by one announced.

They give inspiring speech for us rookies.

We watch artists claim their wins while we just sat there and clapping. I want an award too. I want to get those trophies too.

"They really making our country music worth listening. I want to create music like that." Joon said looking proud.

"We can." Yoo said not looking on us, he is looking straight on the stage.

"It's the Best rookie category!"

V said clapping when our faces flashed on screen.

We can hear fans shouting but not as loud as those some groups. We are just two months out, it's not that surprising.

"Oh! We forgot. Sunrise seniors are nominated too." Jk said in a low voice.

The MC announced all the nomination and proceed to the winner.

"The winner is "Sunrise!"

We clapped a little disappointed though we expect it already.

They're great and we love them too. I think we need to work harder if we want to be like them.

"Don't feel sad, this is just the first Award show. We still have lots to come. Let's make sure to win those titles nextime. Okay!" Joon shouted.

"Yes, Joon is right. Let's congrats them! They're coming."

They are on their way back to their seats. We congratulate them.

"We felt nervous. We thought you'd get this award." Bin said. He is the leader of Sunrise.

"Me too. You made so much impact on your first appearance." Yoon said. their lead rapper.

"It's possible maybe if we are not competing with your group." Joon said laughing.

"I'm serious. Your group is great. I won't feel bitter if we loose to you this trophy. I'm sure you'll get one too soon." Bin tapped our shoulders.

"Thanks. We'll work harder. "Joon gave bin a handshake.

"They are really kind." JM said." Let's be like that when we become someone seniors too.

"But you won't look like one though." JK teasing JM because of his height and baby face.

"Hey! I'm not that short." JM gave him an awkward smile but we all know what he feels inside. He hate getting called small.

If there's no camera here. JM already smacked JK already.

We are still far from becoming a star but we all knew that we are not that far away from it cause we already take the first step.
