Chapter 1: Where are we?

3rd POV

"Ugh..."

Lucias growled in pain as he stood up from the ground, while holding onto his head with his right hand, dazedly staring at his surroundings as he slight pain in his head slowly disappeared.

[Lucias?]

A large drawing pad was placed in front of his face, waking him up from my daze as he looked towards the girl who was holding it.

"Yuu?"

Lucias called out to the girl who had a confused expression on her face before pointing around their surroundings.

Lucias stood up and looked around area with his hand on the grip of his katana.

"...where are we?"

He muttered to himself as he saw that they were in the middle of a school causing Lucias to immediately become tensed as a notification rang inside his head.

[New Quest!]

[Quest: Find Lala Satalin Deviluke.

Reward: 1,000 shop points, ???'s affection.

Limit: 2 years

Failure: Failure of the main quest]

"What?"

Lucias muttered in confusion before a student with brownish orange hair came close to them.

"Are you two alright? Where's your parents?"

The orange haired student asked them with a worried expression on his face.

"No, were fine. Thank you for your concern"

Lucias answered with a gentle smile on his face.

"Hmm? Are you two really alright?" (???)

"We're fine, were not lost or anything so don't worry"

Lucias said before running away holding Yuu's hand, dragging her away with him.

"What's up with those kids?"

"It seems like... we're in Japan? Thank goodness I acquired the [All Language Comprehension] skill"

[I can't understand them]

"Oh yeah, you haven't obtained the skill yet"

Lucias muttered before giving Yuu a book that he kept in his inventory.

[This is?]

"This is a book that I bought before that teaches the basic words of 5 different languages"

[Why do I need it?]

"By studying at least 100 words from 5 different languages you can acquire the [All Language Comprehension], we can max it out later. But I suggest you obtain it first before we do anything since we're in a foreign country"

Yuu placed down her drawing pad before opening the book and read it's content as they both sat down on top of the roof of a random person's house.

"Gather 50 members... In total 100 people... Damn, this is going to take a long time to accomplish... Especially when it seems like we're in a normal dimension... *Sigh*"

He sighed as he observed the bright blue sky above them, thinking about their next courses of actions.

"At most... I first need to finish the quest. Then I'll buy [Mind's Eye] skill. No one will believe a child of my age... I need to change my appearance... maybe the [Cape of Deceit] might work..."

Lucias muttered as he took out a fluffy red colored cap from his inventory that he got as a drop from the Mimics that he killed back then.

Grants the user the skill [Transformation]

Lucias wore the blood red cape on his back, using it to transform himself into his teenage form with a slight modification to his hair and eye color before making the cape invisible with its own skill.

"I wonder if I can create an instant dungeon here"

He said as he raised his hand, condensing all of his mana before spreading it around them.

"Figures"

Lucias sighed before trying to use any of his skills, and surprisingly he was able to use it.

"It seems like only [Instant Dungeon Create] has been sealed"

[Lucias, I have successfully learned it, what should I do next?]

Yuu interrupted his thoughts by placing her drawing pad in front of him while holding the book with her other hand.

"Come here for a second"

Lucias took her hand causing Yuu to unconsciously blush from his actions as he transferred 1 million skill points to her.

'So much for our harem plan'

Yuu thought as a panel appeared in front of her, informing her about the skill points that Lucias have gifted her.

"Now I want you to max out all of your skills... It's unfortunate that I can't transfer some of my status points to you because right now you can't use your skills"

Yuu placed the drawing pad beside her, facing Lucias while she tapped her status board with her small fingers, maxing all of the skills that she currently have.

[Due to Eucliwood Hellscythe mastering the skill [Mental Corruption] and [Ultra speed Hp Regeneration] all requirements for using [Necromancy] skill has been erased]

[All requirements for [Reality Warping] skill has increased by 50%]

[Oh, it seems like we got lucky] (Yuu)

"What happened?"

[The requirements are erased for my skill [Necromancy] so I can now use it]

"That's great! I wonder if undead summons count as 'member'"

[What do you mean?]

"Well the quest didn't specify if it needs to be dead or alive, so I just thought that maybe we can use undeads"

[Indeed but my necromancy only revives them into a walking corpse... So if they're weak when they're alive, they're weak when they're resurrected by my skill]

"...So we still need to be considerate on who we choose, huh?"

"Damn... But if we have no choice, let's just turn a random person into an undead... We can't stay here for too long"

Yuu gave him a thumbs up while her other hand held her drawing board causing Lucias to smile from her cute actions.

"We should first find shelter, it's a good things I didn't deposit everything into the bank or else we won't have any money... Wait, how will the others survive their dimensions of they don't have money?"

Lucias started to worry as he thought about this possibility, before Yuu tugged his sleeves and showed him her drawing pad.

[No need to worry, knowing them, they'll maybe hunt down criminals and steal their money... especially Ophis]

"... I hope so"

-Meanwhile with Ophis-

"What's wrong Ophis?"

Asia asked Ophis who suddenly sneezed while holding her last piece of donut in her hand.

"Nothing"

Ophis answered before biting on her donut as the 3 of them continued to walk aimlessly, trying to find any human establishments close to them.

"I wonder if the others are okay?" (Asia)

"Don't worry the others are strong enough to protect themselves, we must first gather 150 members so that we can go back" (Lily)

Lily comforted her as she patted her shoulder.

"STAND DOWN!!"

Suddenly a male voice shouted at them causing Asia to become flustered as both Lily and her turned their heads towards the source.

They found an army running towards them, but what surprised Asia the most is the aura of a dragon that surrounds each and everyone of those soldier as they surrounded the 3 of them.

"WHO ARE YOU AND HOW DARE YOU TRESPASS OUR TERRITORY"

One of the soldier shouted at them while pointing his spear at Asia who was surprisingly facing their weapon head on without any fear evident in her eyes.

"Stand down"

The beautiful red haired maiden with brown eyes ordered her men to stand down while looking at Asia, Lily, and Ophis.

"But your majesty"

"I said stand down, what are you thinking scaring them? They're children"

"B-but-"

"Are you disobeying my order?"

She threateningly asked towards the soldier, unconsciously releasing some of her killing intent.

"I dare not, your majesty, please forgive my impudence"

The soldier hurriedly kneeled down on the ground as he felt fear travel all over his body from looking at her eyes.

"Good"

The red haired maiden said before walking towards the 3 of them with a kind smile on her face as she asked them a question.

"May I ask what's your name?"

The red haired maiden asked as she kneeled down on one knee to match they're height.

"... Lily Frey"

"Ophis"

"Asia Argento, may I ask what's your name as well, onee-san?"

"Me?"

The red haired maiden pointed at herself before standing up from the ground, looking at the 3 of them with a proud expression on her face.

"My name's Irene Belserion, the current queen of the kingdom of Dragnof"

-Back to Lucias-

[What should we do next?]

Yuu asked Lucias as she held on to his sleeve while walking around the streets, attracting the attention of all the people that they passed through.

"How cute~" (Random Stranger)

"So her onii-chan is bringing her around" (Random Stranger)

"He's so hot❤️" (Random Stranger)

"I-I wonder if he'll notice me" (Random Stranger)

"I should've dressed up before I left!" (Random Stranger)

[They're annoying]

Yuu wrote while glaring at the girls who were eyeing Lucias while Lucias just helplessly sighed.

"Just bare with it, we can't do anything that might reveal our powers since we still don't know if the supernatural even exist in this world"

[Where are we going?]

"I have no idea, my detection isn't picking out anything unusual at the moment... I can't find this Lala Satalin Deviluke that the quest wants me to find"

Lucias said in frustration as they continued to walk through the streets before a familiar voice called out to them.

"Hmm? Aren't you the girl from before?"

The orange haired student asked while carrying a bag of grocery on his arms.

[It's you]

"Hmm?"

"She's mute, so she can only communicate like this"

Lucias hurriedly explained while patting Yuu on the head as he flashes a smile towards the orange haired boy.

"Ok... Where's the other child?"

The student asked while staring at Lucias, who now had jet black and blood red eyes, but his features were still similar to his original appearance.

" I just returned him to his parents, but... it seems like Yuu-chan right here is lost and we couldn't find her parents no matter how long we searched for them"

"Then, do you need help?"

"I don't really wan-"

"It's not a bother, we can search together, it will be much faster to search for her parents together"

"Then, thank you uh..."

"Yuuki Rito, you can call me Rito if you like"

"Thank you so much for your help, Rito-san"

"Don't mention it, we should hurry since I still have to send this home"

Rito pointed at the grocery bags on his hand with a slightly apologetic face.

"Sure, sorry for the trouble"

"No problem"

He smiled at Lucias before walking towards them as they searched for Yuu's nonexistent parents.

"I'm sorry, Rito-san it's already night time and your still helping us search"

Lucias apologized as the 3 of them sat down on a bench found in the nearby playground.

"It's alright, but... it's already late, why won't you take her back to your home for the meantime and continue to search tomorrow? It's dangerous to wander around here at night"

"Uh... Sorry but I don't have a house actually... I just got kicked out of my apartment since I couldn't pay my rent..."

"Where's your parents?"

"I don't know... I'm an orphan so..."

"I-I'm sorry"

"No it's okay, I'm already used to it"

Lucias smiled at Rito who was bowing his head in front of him.

"T-then why won't the two of you stay with me for the time being? It's only me and my sister at home anyway"

"I-I don't want to trouble you any further, Rito-san"

"It's fine, you should stay at our house for the night, Lucias"

"C-can we?"

"Of course, just help out with the chores, and I'm sure my sister will agree with you staying with us"

"T-then... Thank you, Rito-san, for helping us"

"No problem"

He said with a bright smile before guiding both of them towards his house.

[Can we trust him, Lucias?]

"Yeah, his pretty sincere when he helped us"
