Chapter 15

     The next day, she thought.

Hunger was about to end her. She actually considered eating a small part of herself but her humanity appealed to her. She closed her eyes and prayed her last prayers. "Lord Jesus, please forgive me all my sins and grant me a place with you in heaven. Help me to be your faithful servant and help me be a resident of heaven when I die right now", she said.

Suddenly, some light appeared in the room. She made out a faint silhouette of a woman. Now, under normal circumstances, she might have wolf whistled at how curvy she was but right now, all she could see was an incredibly appetite wetting piece of meat that would taste very nice in curry sauce.

And no, she wasn't looking at the woman, she was looking at the food in the woman's hand. She looked down and saw a very normal looking floor. Which meant that she could have been walking about for ages. What you don't know.

The woman walked closer to her and smiled. Ariel scrunched up her face. 'Hey, I was kidnapped here, why the heck are you smiling at me! ', she thought. Ariel took the plate from her and sat down on the floor without eating it, the woman sitting beside her. She really felt tempted but what if it was poisoned, she wanted to be alone so she could siphon the food.

Ariel then looked at the woman's face properly. She was very beautiful with hazel eyes and plump lips. Ariel might have felt a pang of jealousy right there. 'These are the kind of girls that Chad like', she thought. The woman looked sad.

'Oh no, is she gonna tell me her life problems, dammit doesn't she know that I can't give a **** even if I wanted to", she thought glumly. "I'm sorry you're here, but it's for your own good. People are after your head so you being here is for the best", the woman said. Ariel somehow trusted what she said. After all that guy that attacked Chad was still loose.

"You've been behaving a little naughty, pissing off my boss", the woman said with a small smile. Ariel blinked innocently. "I haven't even seen your boss", she said in a cracked and hoarse voice. The woman quickly brought water over and Ariel gulped in down hurriedly without thinking about if the water was poisoned. Surprisingly, it wasn't.

After she drank, the woman continued. "Yeah but nobody around here dares to interfere with our meditating boss, I also felt your energy" , the woman said. Ariel gave a small guilty laugh. "Well your boss is a brute, and an idiot, if he really wanted to protect me, he should've just done it instead of snatching me from Chad", she said indignantly.

The woman rolled her beautiful hazel eyes. "I just hope he doesn't hear you, he might actually just throw you to the ones that want you dead", she said. Ariel swallowed.

The woman kept on coming, and Ariel finally started trusting her. "Hey, uh-huh what's your name ?", Ariel had asked on one of her visits. "I'm Asimuthia", she said. "What's yours?", the woman asked. Ariel felt like jumping into a river. 'How can you kidnap me without even knowing my name!!!!!!!!! ', she thought.

"I'm Ariel Powers", she said. The woman looked at Ariel for three full seconds before bursting out laughing. Ariel was confused. "Oh my God, so that's why he kept helping you", she said and laughed it off. 'So many weird people alive', Ariel thought as she shook her head.

The next scheduled visit, Asimuthia didn't come, and the one after that and the one after that. Ariel was beginning to get worried. One because her first friend in this godforsaken loneliness hadn't been around and Two because, FOOD!!!.  Yeah she was a bit of a stickler for food.

The door opened again and Ariel brightened up. Her brilliant smile faded when she saw a bulky but lean man holding a plate of food. 'I don't give two sh*ts about food, I'm not eating from that man', she thought.

The man dropped the plate on the floor and looked at her in contempt. Ariel also looked at him back. Resting her back against the wall with a hand over her bent knee and the other on her thigh like those cool dudes she always saw in movies.

The guy was relatively handsome with coffee black eyes and a swirl in it that most women would kill for, except her Atleast. His stature was lanky with muscles in all the right places but a little bit to ostentatious just like Chad's.

To put it plain she disliked big muscles. She only put up with Chad since well.....she liked him. She scoffed. "Dude, if you want me to eat that you'll have to eat it first", she said. The guy snarled and wanted to walk away but instructions from his earpiece prevented him from doing so.

He picked up the spoon and shoved a large helping of food into his mouth. He looked at her as if saying 'Satisfied now?!' . Ariel chuckled softly, "Now you'll get me a new spoon, cos I have a little bit of OCD okay? ",she said like his boss. He looked at her indignantly but again instructions from above. He left presumably to get another spoon.

What Ariel didn't know was that her 'kidnapper' had found out that Asimuthia always came to visit her and then decided to switch the people up so Asimuthia wouldn't, with her overly kind heart, help her escape.

He came back and threw the spoon on the floor beside her. She picked it up and examined it. She chuckled again ,"I think I remember mentioning my OCD right, so you have to go wash this", she said and stood up to hand him back the spoon. She walked a little into the light and for some reason the guy took in a sharp breath. Maybe his boss just insulted him for throwing the spoon on the floor.

She raised an eyebrow and gave him the spoon. He collected with shaky hands and his boss said something that made him blush. 'Whoa, he's gay? ' she thought.

He quickly went to bring the spoon back cleaner than she had ever seen any spoon in her life. She then ate calmly under his watchful eyes. When she was done, she handed him the plate. "So where is Asimuthia?", she asked. The guy looked at her. "On another mission", he said in a baritone.

She nodded in approval. The guy stopped moving and swallowed. "What? ", he said. He opened his mouth but closed it again and shook his head, walking like fire was at his heels. 'Why does this place have so many weird people'. She thought.

"Asimuthia, you shouldn't get too close with her, if she decides to leave her death is on your head", a deep rich laid-back voice said calmly. Asimuthia tried to stand brave but the pressure was a little too much, "Uh...but I'm sure you would never let her die", Asimuthia said.

"Yes, but I don't really want to have to keep going out of my way to save her, so I'm placing you on another mission", the voice said. Asimuthia pursed her lips but the boss didn't budge at all.

"Fine", she said. "Good, you're to watch Chad and his uncle, report whatever they do to me", he said and Asimuthia nodded. This mission could be considered as top priority.

"Andrews will be in charge of taking care of the girl, don't worry, he won't be hurting her", he said and waved a hand telling them to leave.

Andrew had grudgingly gone to give the girl food, but she had asked him to eat it to see if it was poisoned. Then she asked him to go get another spoon. He really wanted her dead. But the boss and Asimuthia barked orders at him. Well Asimuthia did, he dared not wait for his boss to bark orders before fulfilling his wishes.

He threw the spoon on the floor in anger, 'You're not the boss of me', he thought. She chuckled and stood up to give him the spoon, the moment she walked into the light, he saw stars.

Despite the fact that she had been without a bath or make up for 4 straight weeks, she still looked breathtakingly beautiful. She had a heavenly pair of blue eyes that reminded him of his best friend immediately. He felt like just kowtowing to her parents for her figure.

She was tall and voluptuous with all the curves in the right places. She walked with a certain air that showed that she could be bossy when she wanted but was really an easy going person. Her hair was initially bounded to be very tight but due to her not minding her looks, it was now saggy and all the loose strands framed her face. All in all,  she was beautiful.

"What's up, do you wanna kiss her or feed her?", his boss asked amused when he paused all movements and drew in the breath. He blushed and quickly handed her the food.

She ate calmly. "So where's Asimuthia? ", she asked. He felt like crying, wasn't she even impressed by the fine specimen of male in her presence?.

"On another mission", he said and she nodded.

He wanted to ask her her name but decided against it after all, Asimuthia would let it slip one day. He left the room quick so he could go ogle her and claim her in front of his boss. "Damn it, that girl has got to date me one day I mean it, she's too dang fine", he said.

Ariel had gotten tired of this place, she decided to escape when she had the chance. She had almost done it, she had somehow managed to slip away in the night when she distracted the guy from locking the door.

The moment she got out of her dark room, she was met with a giant haphazard maze of rooms. She tried every door but none led outside. She saw a martial arts training room, a kitchen, a home theater system, a game room, a strategy room(don't ask her how she knew), and so far seven bedrooms with no one in them.

Then she saw a big door with shiny metal knobs. This door could lead to two things, she thought, it could lead to the boss' main space OR outside. She really hoped it was outside. She placed her hand on the knob and silently opened it. She was met with fresh air.

She almost screamed in happiness. She stepped out of the place and saw a very bright and beautiful moon. Brighter than any she ever saw. The sky was beautiful and she could gaze at the stars forever. She shook her head and tried to run away. The moment she came down the steps, a voice rang out behind her.

"Some people never learn", the voice said. Ariel subconsciously felt drowsy at the relaxed tone of the voice. She felt a shiver up her spine and turned. She was met with the most brilliant shade of green ever.
