Chapter 6: Hallucination

The sun shines on the east, and the birds chip in with lovely melodies. Wake up from his nightly slumber, Agnes stretches out his body for the foremost in the morning. Drank some water prepared for him by Sebas on his side table, then he went to the bathroom. Washes his face and brushes his teeth; he then puts on his shirt, windbreaker, and jogger.

Circling around his palace for morning exercise with a couple of guards as an escort, he visited the shooting range as he finished. With sweat covered body, he signals the guard to pass him his handgun and activate the training puppets.

Look at the moving target with Deathbringer in hands; he watches the targets as they get in position. Hold up the handgun, without wasting a single bullet, he accurately shoots the tens puppets as he hides behind a wall. With each shot, one doll stopped moving. Like deadmen, they stop operating and drop to the ground. Less than ten seconds, he defeated ten military-grade puppets that were described as hell by the soldiers.

Order his guards to activate the puppets once more; he once more shoots them. Not until one hour later, only then, did he stop. Give back the handgun to his guard with all his bullets and magazine empty; he jogs back home. As it is seven in the morning, his brother will arrive in a short while.

Wear his three-piece crimson blood suit as he finishes bathing; he goes to his study and opens up his laptop. While he is free today, that doesn't mean he needs to be lazy. Some trouble may suddenly pop up from nowhere, and he doesn't want to take that chance.

Reads the email sent to him from all of his twelve Underboss and sees there is no major trouble that can't be settled by them; he logs into Dreamland, the web server of the underworld. Browses through the news and sees there is nothing that he doesn't know of; he logs into his own organization's website, The Eyes Of Wonder.

Check if there are any new bounties put up, he needs to do a full investigation on that person, and unsurprisingly, there were two new bounties being put up last night.

Send the two new bounties into a separate file, he begins to do an investigation on them. Opens up another laptop and logs himself into the world identities list using some high-ranking parliament member identity; he easily finds these two people.

"Catalin Pogonat, Mixetria origin, 26 years old, female, family dies from a car crash at ten years old, no husband, three kids, two male, one female, live in the city of Vetbo of the upper north region in Mixetria, status alive, bounty 5000 Sol. Hmm, she may steal some drugs from local gangs or information but overall, unimportant.

Xia Jie, Naza origin, 45 years old, male, family alive, a wife, 6 kids, one male, five female, lives in the city of Xuzhou of the lower southern region of Naza. Status missing, bounty 100,000 Sol. Hmm, maybe the same situation but a high-ranking official, but overall, unimportant."

Log out of the world identities list as he got all of the information, Agnes called his Underbosses. The one who supervises Mixetria and Naza province.

"I greet the Godfather." Said both of them simultaneously as Agnes called connected to them.

"As both of you know, there were two bounties being put up last night."

"Yes, we are aware."

"Then, have both of you start investigate these two individuals?"

"Yes, I had started the investigation last night, and we have found that Catalin Pogonat is currently hiding within the city of Vetbo. As for the source of her bounty, it is currently unknown."

Nods his head at Krylov, his Underboss who supervises Mixetria, clearly showing his praise for him. He then shifts his gaze to his other Underboss, Ishida, the person who is overseeing Naza, obviously expecting the same answer.

"We also have found where Xia Jie is hiding, and he currently hiding in the central region of Naza in Tashi city. As for the source of his bounty, he apparently is an informant and has stolen information about a loose gang called Blue Rebels."

"Both of you did a good job, especially you, Ishida. I have high hope for you. As for you, Krylov, continue searching for the source of Catalin Pogonat's bounty and keep watching her. If she is able to get out of this predicament and clean, recruit her. As for this Xia Jie guy, you can start selling his information."

"Yes, Godfather."

*Knock* *Knock*

"Enter."

"Sorry for bothering you, master, but young master Tobias has arrived. He is currently downstairs in the living room."

"Very well, tell him I will come down in a moment."

"Yes, master."

As Sebas exited the door, Agnes already ends the call. Browse once again through Dreamland and Eyes Of Wonder to double-check everything; he logs out of it when he sees that he has not missed anything.

Shut down his laptop and place them back where he takes them; he then cleans up his table of the dust. Give a final look at his study as he walks out of it; he strengthens up his cloth as he walks downstairs to the living room to meet his younger brother.

"Is that only my imagination?" Mumble Agnes under his breath.

Walk into the living room, he can see Veronica at the side of the couch, standing in her formal attire. Sebas is also by her side, with eyes as sharp as ever. And there are also a couple of maids entertaining a man in casual wear. Silky black hair with a stream of white, straight nose with thin, healthy lips and striking golden pupils. He is Tobias, his younger brother.

"Why did you come? To see me?" Did not beat around the bush, Agnes immediately questioned his brother as he walked into the room and took the master seat with his legs crossed together.

"Hahaha, why do you have to be so cold all the time? You immediately interrogate me the moment you walk in. Can't we have a chat just like a normal family? Like, how are you these days?"

"Enough, joke around. Tell me why you come to see me."

"Sigh, why can't we talk about the lighter stuff first before we go to the real ones? You and father are the same. Both of you are hard to talk to. It's like this, my dear brother. I come to see you because I want some dirt on Jakob Kocher. Do you know him?"

"There are many Jakob Kocher that I knew. It's a pretty common name."

"This is not any Jakob Kocher. He is a pretty renowned man. He is the CEO of Silver Tune."

"The record label company? Yes, I do have dirt on him. How much are you willing to pay? And before you answer me. Can you please stop playing with your phone!? That flashlight is killing me!"

"Huh?"

"Excuse me for interrupt, master. But, young master Tobias is not playing with his phone."
